I always value local businesses over national chains. I did a quick Google search in the area and found Formaneta. They were close to our friend's house. She actually knew our friend and was eager to help us by preparing a beautiful arrangement. She allowed me to pay by phone. She also allowed me to send our own condolence card via FedEx, which she then delivered when she delivered the flowers. She also sent a picture of the arrangement to me when it was delivered. Haha, seriously I needed some emergency last minute flowers delivered today and I couldn't step out since I was busy at the office. Luckily, one of my friends mentioned Flower Power Miami, desperately I went online, researched and called them to make sure they could do this last minute delivery. They were extremely helpful and professional and assured me same day delivery. Their same day order turn around can be 2-3 hours if the order is placed before 4pm. The delivery was made and the receiving party loved them. The flowers were fresh and beautiful. Their concept is different from the rest, the Roses come in a decorative rustic like box, very simple and classy. They last 2-3 weeks from what I was told and they offer a subscription service as well where they can refill your box once a week or twice a month at a discounted rate. I love these guys and their new concept, I'm definitely ordering from here again! Delivers in the Miami-Dade County area and they have a 10% Yelp discount when you mention YELP. :)
