From our initial consultation, it was clear that Gasper had a deep understanding of local Landmarks regulations and, more importantly, a genuine respect for preserving the historic integrity of our home. He thoughtfully guided us through design options that would complement the existing architecture while meeting modern safety standards. Every curve, scroll & detail was meticulously crafted, even the boot scrapers, all inspired by a 1938 photograph of the original ironwork that had been removed sometime in the 1960s. Bringing that history back to life was incredibly meaningful to us. The craftsmanship is exceptional. The ironwork is not only visually striking but also solid, substantial & beautifully constructed. It has dramatically enhanced the curb appeal of our brownstone, restoring a sense of period authenticity while elevating the overall presence of the home & the block. Neighbors & visitors consistently compliment how the new railings & fence have transformed the façade, adding both elegance & distinction. Throughout the entire process, Gasper communicated clearly & demonstrated professionalism at every stage. He welcomed us to visit his workshop to better understand the fabrication process & meet his team, which gave us even greater confidence in the work being done. The installation crew was punctual, respectful of our property & once the project was scheduled, the installation was completed on time. Gasper's commitment to quality & customer satisfaction was evident from start to finish. I had a quite negative experience with Gasper, the owner of this company, when they were working on our street during alternate side parking. While I was parked opposite an empty spot, the owner arrived but could not fit his truck into it so placed cones to prevent me from moving my vehicle back. Then, when I tried to repark, he addressed me dismissively about how "the spot doesn't belong to you" -- despite coning it off for himself -- while another man forced his truck into the middle of the (very long) spot. This ironic part of this was that there was enough space for both our vehicles, so the rudeness and assertion of dominance was completely unnecessary. What's perhaps worse than just the parking disagreement is that after posting this note, the owner found my phone number on the internet and sent a variety of text messages calling me names and other ad hominem attacks. This was also totally unnecessary. I cannot recommend working with this business because in case there's a disagreement of some sort, interacting with the owner could become genuinely frightening. read more

I got an instant and very fair quote and next, the crew did excellent work done on my iron gate which is very old and needed a 'tender loving care' kind of solution. Not only did the person never show up, but no one ever bothered to call to reschedule. I called to find out why the person never showed up and was told that someone would call me to set up another appointment. To date no one has called. We have a corner house with a curved wall and the iron fence was installed efficiently and beautifully.
