No sight of our waitress for another 30 minutes. She apologized and said it was a hectic night. She came back and brought us more water, aplogized again, thanked us for our patience, told us we would be compensated for the delay and shared that a cook had quit on them that night and another had called in sick. She could not tell us how long, but when asked if it would be more than another 15 minutes, she said our food was currently being made and it would be out in less time than that. 20 minutes later, no sign of our waitress or food and so we left.
