We had a pizza craving and asked our uber driver for recommendations. Pirilo was a suggestion we decided to follow. We started with a Caprese salad which had fresh cheese and tomatoes. Good salad to split. We then got a large pepperoni pizza. The pizza was big but it's prepared super thin so we only had one piece to take with us. Loved the brick oven crust which was fresh and had a nice crisp to it. Lots of toppings. We sat inside because there were no open tables on the lovely porch. Definitely better to get a table outside. Been back several times and the quality is consistently outstanding. Plenty of good beer available as well. This last time I decided to try something other than pizza. I went with the Bocatta Mediterránea, a sandwich with mozzarella, tomatoes, red onions, and Kalamata olives. The sandwich comes with a tasty balsamic and pesto sauce, and a side of fries. It's a vegetarian sandwich. You can add protein to it for an extra charge. I went with ham because it was the most affordable. Added nothing to it. Best to have enjoyed it as is. It was a good sandwich, overall. I think I'll keep trying other menu items. read more

When my husband and I arrived around 7:30 PM, we had to wait outside for about 20 minutes as seating is limited inside. Once inside we gave our order to the waiter and it took about 30 minutes just to get a prosciutto board brought out to us in which he told us it would be a few minutes. We also ordered a personal pan pizza that took an hour to come out. I was not happy. The two or three tables next to us all got their food before we did and we got there before they did so basically the waiter forgot about us so I had to talk to the manager. I truly love this place and when I knew I was going to PR I had it in my list of places to visit. The Pampa pizza is amazing (I order it without the sausage, full disclosure). But I LOVE it. I did order it with a friend and she had her half with sausage. I also had their piña colada, although it has another name to incorporate that it's very coconut heavy. I had their mozzarella sticks for appetizers and they were also delicious. Our server was great and we had people that were not even our servers checking in to see if we were alright. This spot was down the street from the beach and I was intrigued by the speciality pizza flavors. I got 1/2 pirilo and 1/2 churrasco. The pirilo was good, interesting combo of sweet plantain and ground beef on pizza. The churrasco side was delicious though and I would order a whole pizza of that. read more

We had an hour wait, but it was so worth it! We walked around Old San Juan while waiting and then were delighted with the delicious apps and pizza we had. We had the garlic knots which were so light and fluffy with a deliciously tasty marinara sauce. For pizzas we got a large split pizza basilica, and pizza rosada. First dinner in PR did not disappoint !! Wonderful atmosphere, service, and hospitality. The house mojito was absolutely amazing. I would get 10 of them if I could go back there right now lol. Anyways- our server recommended that we share the large pizza ($28 ) instead of getting two personal pizzas ($19 each) for ourselves and this was definitely the way to go (and you save money). My true rating would be a 3.75. Our server was great. He was attentive, kind, friendly and open to having conversations with patrons. The ambiance was fun and busy! This restaurant definitely has high ratings for a reason - it's a great ambiance. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my pizza very much. It was a bit undercooked and flavorless. I hoped the sauce was a bit more flavorful. I added some chili flakes which helped but all in all not the best pizza. Pizza is so good here. The ambience it's very nice too. I sat at the bar while waiting for my pizzas to go. Talked to a couple people that were on vacation and locals. The pizza it's a little pricey but well worth it since it was one of the best thing I ate my whole stay. read more

I know it's not local but it's some of the yummiest food I had in Puerto Rico. The empanadas here honestly earned my 5 starts. They literally melted in your mouth and were so cheese and gooey, my mouth is watering thinking about them. The pizza was pretty solid pizza, the mushroom ones and the seafood one really stood out. The veggie one was just a regular veggie pizza. I heard good things about the Puerto Rican pizza as well! The service was pretty quick honestly even though we had a pretty large group. We've been to Puerto Rico twice and have eaten here three times now. The food is so good. The pink sauce for the pasta is amazing, and the chicken was huge and delicious. We have had pizza at three different spots while visiting Puerto Rico and this is hands down the best pizza we've had here. The waitresses were friendly and the food came out quick. The only downside was we got here at 3pm and it doesn't appear to have air conditioning so I would suggest getting here at early or later in the day. read more
