This restaurant blew my mind. Everything we ate and drank was delicious and fresh. The margaritas are perfectly salty and sweet. The regular and strawberry is what I ordered. The mangonada was cold and refreshing and huge portion. Perfectly sweet and spicy. The chorizo quest fondito a 10. The chorizo is delicious here. Good chips. The molcajete was huge, fresh, and delicious. The green tomatilla sauce outrageous. All sauces are phenomenal. Mole, green tomatilla, and red. The enchiladas were scrumptious. The molcajete was, huge , fresh, delicious. The chorizo and meats tasted like quality and green sauce was perfect with a nice spice to it. Tje tres leche was huge, moist and had a high end milk taste. The flan wasn't eggs and had caramel crust on the bottom. Jessica and the chef were top notch. The food is pretty good but my drink spilled in my bag and the restaurant is lazy overall. I ordered over 100 dollars worth of food in a 48 hour period and this place refunded me an item because they "forgot" to put it in the bag. I'm spending 45-56 dollars a pop and you make me eat dry tacos because you "forgot" to take care of the customer's specifications? It would have been better to send someone else to deliver the item. We saw the reviews and thought this was a cute little restaurant that we could try. And jt was just that. The portion and the price was proportionate to each other, the food was good but no staff member speaks english :( The food was very good. I had the steak chimichangas and they were crunchy and cheesy that really complimented each other. I wish there was some kind of sauce to balance the flavors as it just had the cheese and steak taste. It wasn't too flavorable for my liking but I may have a problem with too much sauce. My friend really enjoyed his burrito bowl but it was just a lot of beans compared to the rice, but he was still a fan (plus, good fiber right?). The staff don't speak English though!!! This is where my elementary spanish came in to play. But even though the language barrier was a struggle, the staff was super friendly and tried to work with us and get the order right. My hubby and I were looking for good Mexican food in our neighborhood and found Pique86. Nice and quaint restaurant. Great food the chicken was very moist rice perfect and the black beans were heavenly. I was pleasantly surprised by the richness of the salas. The nicest thing I noticed the young women who took our order cut up the meat of a customer who was disabled. That touched my soul that this young woman showed so much kindness to this man to help him to enjoy his food. This is spot is a jewel. I will be a repeat customer. read more

I also ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, it came kissing the cold slaw and onions and they gave me a small refund for the mistake so I appreciate that highly. The delivery took a while 85 mins. I had the pork tacos, pasta and the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken Alfredo fettuccine was way too salty. The sauce was too concentrated. The broccoli pieces were old and soggy. The chicken pieces were hard. The tacos were juicy, however it was too salty. Also, I bit into a piece of bone. The fried chicken sandwich was okay. Very generously portioned and the meat (al pastor, chorizo, carnitas) had a depth of flavor that could only be achieve with time and skill. The red salsa is smoky in a good way and the green has a slight kick. I'd say both could be spicier. Guacamole was also generously portioned but seemed like it might have involved a mix base (not sure if it was pure avocado). It really is an authentic Mexican restaurant. This was my first time ordering from here, I ordered chicken nachos. I gave them specific instructions and they actually followed them, I really appreciated that. The one problem I did have was when I called to add guac to my order she told me it went out. I was definitely disappointed but surprised about how fast they. I waited 25 minutes before calling again (mind you I only live 5 minutes away) The same lady who answered before answered again, and again she told me it had just went out and who ever told me it went out before they were mistaken. First I shouldn't have to wait 50 minutes for nachos when I live five blocks away. Second the nachos could have used the gauc so I don't feel completely satisfied. Delicious food and SUPER fast delivery. The chicken chimichanga is bomb and the al pastor quesadilla is delicioussssss and juicy and they don't skimp on the cheese (anything with al pastor here is dope, actually). I've also had the tacos (both traditional and with everything, chivo, chicken, chorizo, and al pastor) and they're all really good. I'd pass on the guac and the queso (the guac is definitely not super freshly made, and the queso's really grainy). My fiance has ordered a burrito here 4 times now. The first 3 times she was pleased at how well they followed her instructions to add extra crema and slices of avocado, no tomato, etc. Tonight, however, her burrito arrived with a super spicy red salsa dripping out of the end. Never had the burrito come with salsa INSIDE, only ever the cup on the side. She went back and read the description of what comes inside, and nothing about salsa. When she called them to have is swapped out, she was met with a very argumentative woman, who kept talking in circles, before she passed the phone to a guy, who went on to do the same exact thing, saying she should have said no salsa if she didn't want any. Over and over she told them it has NEVER come with salsa inside, the description does not mention salsa, so why would she request no salsa. After nearly 10 minutes going back and forth on the phone, the guy said he would bring another and take back the first one, in a tone that felt like he thought we were trying to pull one over on him. By ALL MEANS, take back the damn burrito! Sad that a place she truly enjoyed is now a place we will most likely never order from again. Maybe the whole "the customer is always right" rule doesn't apply everytime, but when something is actually inedible (she doesn't eat super spicy food), the decent thing to do, especially for a returning customer, is to just apologize for the mistake make another. read more
