I was a first-time…read morehomebuyer and just moved from Miami, so I was really nervous about not knowing who to use as an inspector until I came across another review with him. He is extremely detailed, very through checking everything in the home. He was there a little bit before the scheduled time and was able to give us information on what he was going to do and why each step was important. He would even show us things to watch for and give helpful tips for how to keep our house in good shape even after buying it. I would 100/10 recommend him for anyone looking to get their home inspection done. There was a wait to get scheduled with him, but it is absolutely worth it, so just make sure to try and book in advance.

I originally found Chaz on Facebook by typing in "Wind Mitigation". I had just got a new roof put…read moreon, and that was expensive enough, but now to add the extra $150 the roof guy's wanted to charge, was just painful to the pocketbook. So I searched for someone cheaper. I figured, new roof, I don't need someone good, I need someone cheap for my insurance company. But I was beyond impressed with Chaz. For $95 I got the best of both worlds. He was available the next day, on time to our scheduled appointment even though it was a rainy day, thorough, and had my inspection emailed to me the same day. I got his contact info in case any friends need an inspector when buying a house. He was fantastic.

I was relieved when my broker recognized Chaz who did the inspection. He was polite, professional, engaging and personable. He was also thorough, detailed and objective. He found, then explained serious and non-serious issues. When I complimented him he deferred to C-squared stating they are all like that. I received my inspection in writing within a day as promised. Using his service has saved me TENS of thousands of dollars and he was able to locate issues that prior inspectors had missed or ignored. I have used his service recently to inspect a $700,000 home I had under contract in Winter Park. Michael was able to identify past and present leaks in the cast iron piping which would have cost me a small fortune to replace as well as a major excavation project. He was also able to identify many areas of wood rot and multiple other repairs which would have been a to be completed in the near future., Including areas of draining from past leaks and evidence that the leaks may have been covered up by the seller. As such, I was able to cancel the sale and save myself an enourmous headache. When I found a new property to purchase, I did use Michael's service again . This property was previously under contract . Although it was previously inspected, he was able to identify issues at this property that the previous inspector had missed. His efforts again saved me much more money than the cost of his inspection. I am extremely grateful to Michael for for his meticulous work.
