If you're new or not familiar with main post, it's between the water plant, main gym, and commissary. Today we tried a Chili Dog and a BLT Dog. Both were great and lived up to their names. The dogs were beefy and juicy. The buns were nicely toasted, but still soft to the bite. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. The fries, though I do believe a popular frozen brand, were prepared and fried properly. They weren't seasoned but I was happy about that; I can't stand over-seasoned fries! The woman that took and served our order was friendly, bubbly, and personable. I give the crew two thumbs up and give them kudos for taking the risk and being one of only two food trucks for this area! Thank you Good Dogs crew and we will certainly return!

Even after decades of living in other states, most of the food we miss is from the Windy City. Imagine our surprise, when we found out the gracious owners of this food truck are from the Chicago area and their menu is peppered with some of our absolute favorites - Italian beef and a loaded Chi town hot dog! The smash burgers are ridiculously good. If you think Beedos has the beef, think again. The patties here are expertly cooked, with just the right amount of crispy edges, and juicy meat. Probably one of our top 3 burgers of all time. The menu also offers up patty melts, chili, a Reuben, chicken ( wraps, tenders & a quesadillas), sides like crinkle cuts, onion rings, coleslaw and mozzarella sticks. This Wendy's has been refreshed a bit. It's still part of the Pilot truck stop but they now accept orders through the Wendy's app. This was good because there was a queue and I was able to "skip" it by ordering our lunch with the Wendy's app. The food did not take long at all. Mrs. K. had her baked potato and I had my "Biggie Bag." Everything was assembled properly. Fries were not, nuggets were not and they neglected to put the dipping sauce in the bag. They've also not upgraded their soda fountain from a regular Coke with five choices to the modern Freestyle machine. Other than that, it was fine.
