Blackened salmon Baked Potato Steamed Veggies salad.

So we ordered pick up. And everything was just delicious, prompt and hot. Salmon with bake potatoes, salad and streamed vegetables. Brisket sandwiches. Wings, chicken tenders, sampler platter, grilled grouper covered in a Parmesan cheese crust. Everything ordered was delicious, the food was so good. Will order again, Or dine in again. Service was prompt and food was ready on time when picked up.

Stopped in after the Panthers game and this place was really cool! Super friendly staff, TVs everywhere and the mimosas were really good! It gives neighborhood vibes but a must try!!

Ugh! What has happened to Pippas? We are here for lunch and the food is so disappointing. Steak was over done and covered in mega salt andand pepper. The mashed potatoes were like potato soup. The green beans were hard. The orange juice was old and dark. Such a disappointment! We've always had great meals prior.

My coworkers have been raving about this place, so I finally gave it a try. I ordered a pickup, upon arrival the hostess and server were extremely sweet- making l sure that I was serviced. The interior feels like a bar, with many wall decor and noise level was moderate. We ordered their sample platter tray- comes with sliders, jalapeños poppers,l and others that I can't remember. Everything was good but the sliders were dry as there were no condiments or cheese on them. I tried their California Chicken Wrap with their spinach wrap with sweet potatoes fries. Their wrap was amazing with fresh produce; the creamy avocado brings everything together and their blackened chicken is soo flavorful. The sweet potatoes friend were crispy, chewy, and sweet/savory. Most definitely will be ordering from Pippa's again.

    Wings 10 for $13

Came here per my friends suggestion to accommodate the proximity to her home.. otherwise this place probably wouldn't be on my radar. Seems like a nice sports bar and appeared to have a variety of beers on tap. For the food- also quite the large variety which always leaves me skeptical when it comes to quality. I ordered the wings and also an order of potato skins. 10 wings is $13+.. which seems expensive! There were a variety of drums and wings in the bunch. I was served one small serving of ranch. The wings were ok.. but to me don't justify the price point. They were average size. The potato skins are what was most disappointing. They reminded me of the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store. There were also no green onions or chives served on top. They were so bland and tasted microwaved tbh. I wish I had snapped a picture. Service was nice and friendly. I love their covered patio and ample parking.

Great place for a quick bite. Love the indoor/outdoor seating option. The chicken wrap was really good. Great chunky blue cheese. My only complaint was that the Buffalo tots were soggy from the sauce, but that's too be expected. I would suggest just getting regular tots and a side of Buffalo sauce to dip it in. Huge parking lot since it is located in a little plaza with other restaurants.

    Cobb salad with grilled chicken

I've been coming to Pippas for years now because it's in the plaza right outside of my neighborhood. It's your average sports bar and bar food. I love that it's owned by a local family and everyone here is very friendly. They have outdoor seating and lots of fans during the hotter months. Inside is a little dark and there are a lot of TVs and often times a lot of people are gathered at the bar. Today I ordered the Cobb salad and added grilled chicken to it. The salad was huge and had lots of bacon, avocado, bleu cheese and eggs. I like that they put the dressing on the side so I could control how much or how little to put on. The only down side to the salad was the grilled chicken. It was pretty dry and didn't have much flavor. I have tried their fried chicken and it's much juicer, so I would go with that next time. I also love their burgers, wraps and all of their sides. I like that their portions are big and often times I can split a meal or take it home. They have a huge menu so I'm always trying new things but my favorite so far is the California burger with waffle fries. Can't wait to be back soon!

We decided on the their appetizer sampler just to get a feel for their food, and it wasn't a great feel. The wings were burnt, Maybe that's their "style" but it didn't work. They were so dry. The shrooms had too much breading and were also overcooked, thought at least not burnt. The mozzarella sticks were actually decent. The pretzels was good, but some awful beer cheese. Indeed, if the cold North runs through you veins, you'll find house beer and mead aplenty to wet your whistle in an atmosphere that while housed in a modern shopping center, is still somehow appropos. Unfortunately, I had driving to do, so alcohol wasn't in the cards, but the menu appealed to us. We needed some comfort food, so we ended up with an appetizer sampler that included a baked pretzel, jalapeno poppers (instead of the fried ravioli that I guess they were out of), buffalo wings, and mozz sticks. We also got a pizza from the current specials, the spicy hawaiin. We like pineapple on pizza, and definitely prefer pepperoni to ham, and this also included jalapenos... so it sounded right up our alley. FYI, there are no waiters, you simply order at the bar, and they give you a numbered buzzer to pick up your food when ready. I greatly prefer this way of doing things honestly. For the food, honestly... a mixed bag, hence the one star off. The pretzel was great, probably the best of the bunch. Jalapeno poppers were nice and large, good flavor balance of cream cheese and jalapeno. Mozz sticks were mozz sticks. We didn't care for the wings. For one, they weren't tossed in the buffalo sauce, it was just poured over the top, and they also were a tad dry... maybe fried too long. The pizza was a letdown, especially since other reviews were so complimentary of it. The slices were very floppy, it maybe could have used a couple minutes more. The cheese had a nice flavor, but the sauce was not either of our preference. Could have used more pineapple, less jalapeno to balance the bites. Overall, we didn't finish it, and didn't take the leftovers for later. It could just be our personal tastes, so go and decide for yourself. Outside of food, it was trivia night, and people were having a great time. We would have taken part if we were staying longer. I think if I lived in the area, I would still come here, and just figure out what food items are the ones to get and which ones aren't. Great atmosphere, friendly bartender and people.

It was a little loud and busy when we arrived but we were able to get a seat right away and a waitress was right there to take our order. A short while later another waitress came by and brought us our food and asked if we wanted more drinks. We ordered another round and another different waitress bought us our new drinks. I really liked this system. I don't believe we had an assigned waitress, rather there was always a waitress around and willing to help. We had excellent service. I had the cheesesteak which was just OK. I was not a fan of how thickly sliced the peppers were and the meat seemed a little tough. However, my uncle's fish was absolutely excellent and the fries were good too. My husband got the monkey burger and he was very happy. My tater tots were very, very tasty. The beer we ordered was really good as well and the price could absolutely not be beat. I'm not sure if they were on special but five dollars a pint for those beers is unheard of, at least in Durham.
