The gluten free pizza was one of them worst things I have ever gotten from a restaurant. The "crust" was literally like cardboard and completely tasteless. Inedible. My family are in town for Memorial Day weekend to visit with my Mom, my siblings and their families. We are renting a house on the other side of the river and we're intrigued with this place so we decided to check it out. My wife and I enjoyed our cauliflower pizza and the caprese salad. Two of boys shared a meat lovers pizza and my other two boys enjoyed the pasta and wings as their meals. This is a solid place for the most part. It is generally consistent when it comes to pizza - a couple times they burnt the crust. Same with the Stromboli. Sandwiches generally above average. I've been there once since I moved to the area... The pizza was, I'm sad to say, disappointing. Dont get me wrong, I understand where I am so I'm not expecting mind blowing culinary experience... But I at least expect a decent slice of pizza. The flavor was bland, the pizza was greasy, and by the looks of it was a few days old. I had 1 plain slice and a drink which somehow came out to over $5 which was surprising... But hey, at least I learned to never come back. The girl behind the counter was really nice and accommodating so I gave them an extra star... But the food itself is barely a 1 star experience. Pipolo's is my go-to here in Milford. After moving to the area about a year ago I've had multiple occasions to grab some of their delicious fare. My favorite is definitely the calzone. They're generously portioned, so be careful about getting the large if you're by yourself. The contents are always fresh and they're happy to include anything you ask for. I've certainly not had a bad one yet. The place has a bit of a old school appearance inside, but in my opinion that's one of the small town endearing charms about the restaurant. The walls are lined with Frank Zappa paraphernalia and are an ode the owner's awesome Harley Riding attitude. I dig it, and I think you will too. Parking out front is usually really easy to get. If it's all take, no worries, because the municipal parking lot is right behind the building. There's always an easy parking spot to grab around back. This place is a vote-up for me. I wasn't going to post, as it's a local business and I like to support them, but I know I rely on yelp reviews so I feel I should. Ordered a few items. My wife wanted the shrimp provinciale , which is described as shrimp over spinach. However, it was not over spinach at all. It was sautéed in herbs and chopped up spinach and then placed over linguini. We assumed it would be over sautéed spinach as stated. Disappointing, and not very testy. I ordered the veal parmigiana. It was a large piece of heavily fried veal, with a giant blob of cheese on top...probably twice what should have been, and the veal was so tough, I couldn't cut with a table knife, and ate just four bites before I gave up and threw it in the trash. I was hungry for garlic bread with cheese. Also tremendously disappointing l it was a roll, cut in four pieces. There was a small amount of shredded cheese on the two middle pieces, and the end pieces were just toasted, no cheese. I did not taste garlic, my wife said she tasted a light amount. The calamari...I could not eat...very chewy, although my wife ate a few pieces. I have had slices here on occasion and they were fine, just normal pizza, and bought a cheesesteak once which was okay. I always go to mezza luna, but thought we should give someone else a try. I will be going back up the hill to mezza luna from now on. read more

It took me a while to adapt to the sauce. I'm from the other side of Jersey. The sauce is very different. Over the last few years we've moved here this has become a staple for us. Every birthday party we trust pips. I work from home and often get a cheeseburger, grilled cheese or chicken fingers. All just as good as the pizza. The owner is friendly and gets to know his patrons. They do a lot for the community including donating to the spaghetti dinner at the church each year the scouts host. I recently moved to area. Decided to try this place last night! I called and the waitress that answered did not know the specials and seemed clueless. We ordered a chicken penne alfredo dinner and a meatball parm sub. The meatballl parm sub was horrible. The meatballs were cut in half and it seemed like they were in very old sauce. Sandwich itself looked horrible and cheese was stuck to the foil! I took a few bites and it was nasty. I later got heartburn from it.
