Nice restaurant in downtown Redding with a good selection of burgers and sandwiches. They have a great selection of beer and wine, should one wish to have a drink. We ordered the Widow burger and the Reuben. The waitress was great and the food came out quickly. The restaurant takes the Reuben in a slightly different direction with an aioli in place of the normal condiment and a unique flavor profile on the sauerkraut. If you go in the summer be aware there is a definite temperature difference in the restaurant between the first and second floor. The first floor was cool but the second floor felt warm and a portable a/c unit it is hooked up by the bar but doesn't keep up as well as they may have intended. Great food! Never had a bad order. Service is decent, layout of tables aren't great, small for a really great place to eat. The past 2 times we waited for a table, told them we wanted a table & they tried seating is at the bar top upstairs. They need to do away with that bar top & put in more tables. The whole experience was fantastic! I am not a beer drinker but they have a lovely selection of wines and they are reasonably priced. They give the small wineries a chance which I support. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad. OMG it was life changing. Delicious pickled red onions and crispy wonton strips and a lovely textural element. Great place. Bear was not optimal for my friend. Glades were cute, not chilled. He beer was cold enough. Warms up fast in the glasses.

Gotta say that when they seated us inside and we specifically requested outside I was not impressed. When we arrived the wait time was not bad but there were empty tables everywhere, so what the heck? But Hillary was ABOVE top notch! She moved us quickly outside to a beautiful rooftop table. Modern, clean location. Lots of beer options and food was great. Had the fried chicken sandwich that was fantastic. Staff was very nice.

Food was good, drinks good, ambiance cool. This rating is because they would not serve us inside the restaurant while it was over 100 outside because we had a service animal. A licensed, trained, malinois in full gear. Totally an ADA violation. Lots of places like this when we visited Redding actually. I think the commas a whole can do better. read more

My friend and I came to try this place out. It wasn't busy at all, maybe 6-7 other tables. we were promptly seated at the bar top upstairs but then no one came to get our drink orders or anything. Took the kids and their friends to lunch at Pipeline. The food was excellent, the service was possibly the worst service I've ever had. Just horrible! We sat there for 40 minutes before anyone came just to take our drink order. Meanwhile there were 5 servers just hanging out chatting near us. Pipeline Mt Shasta excellent 4.5 stars The new pipeline in Redding however was a disappointment at least for now: we sat in the upstairs bar 4 of us it was designed with little sound proofing and folks at the bar were so loud we could not hear each other (unless we shouted) even the waitress was hard to hear! And she put up with it - we fully shouted our orders. The menu is very limited and nowhere near the great items in Mt Shasta's locale Quality of burger was ok taste for such an exotic burger was a bit bland. Overall for a new place the ambience was nice. By the time we left the patio was packed so the crowds in Redding are ready for new venues it appears get in early no reservations. I hope menu reflects the greatness of the Mt Shasta Pipeline but we'll give it time, service was good; my hearing recovered after an hour and heard downstairs is better for conversation we'll be back!
