Although I couldn't reach anyone right away, I left a message and received a call back within 30 minutes. I spoke with the owner, who reassured me that someone would be out the next day. True to their word, a representative arrived promptly around 9 am the following morning and got right to work. Originally we planned to use a Home Depot or Lowe's service person and their price estimates were like $2100!!! No thank you. He had a flat rate estimate of $1250 which really, you cannot find better. Second, TIME! He was able to come and have it all fixed up by Tuesday night. Mind you- I didn't contact him until MONDAY! Lastly, he just knows what he is doing. He replaced everything that needed to for our water heater but making sure everything was up to code and also LOOKED GOOD. Sarah Lilley emailed me on 9/12/25 informing me that they are offering a 1 year free membership and a complimentary tankless water heater flush with a whole house inspection. I asked a bunch of questions then told her that I was interested. I scheduled the flush for 9/25/25 with a window of 830-10 am. However, I was told from Kathi Grey the day before (9/24/25) that it would most likely be closer to 830-9 am. The technician, Jared Scott, comes and learns that I have a tankless water heater and doesn't have what he needs. Jared told me that he was not informed that I have a tankless even though it was mentioned various times in communication. One of which is email that I still have a copy of in my account. Jared also mentions the whole house inspection. I said that I didn't need that done today. I mistakenly told Jared that I already have a membership with Apollo and they have done inspections in the past. Jared leaves to get the part that he needs. He comes back shortly informing me that he can't do the tankless flush because I already have a membership with Apollo. Jared leaves so I call A+ to speak with the owner. Sarah answers the phone and puts me on hold while she gets him. He tells me that I never mentioned the tankless water heater! The nerve! He also informs me that I HAVE to get the whole house inspection in order to get the tankless water flush and it has to be done the same day. I was NOT told that specific piece of information prior to scheduling. The owner goes on to rudely tell me that A+ doesn't go around giving away free work. I informed him that I don't use Apollo for plumbing just for our HVAC system. I genuinely was interested in using them but absolutely not now!! I would have been open to a whole house inspection at another time if the owner wasn't so rude to me and I was told that upfront. I had a 11:30 doctor's appointment so there was no time for a whole house inspection as my home is 4000 sq feet not including our finished basement. I asked how long the appointment with Jared would take (again, spoke to Kathi and Sarah) and was told 1 hour. There's no way a whole house inspection and a tankless hot water flush whole could be finished in 1 hour. Logic told me that I could do the whole house inspection another time if I wanted it done. I know that the tankless water heater flush takes 45 mins to 1 hour alone. In addition to all of this Sarah and Kathi told me that A+ plumbing (at the time was Maximum plumbing) did our tankless water heater on 4/15/2024. That is not true. I had A+ come on that day to give me an estimate. This business is not accredited with the BBB. What a waste of time!!

Called the number from text at 8:30 to find out where they were and the automated system failed to connect me with a person, but tried to send me to the business hour office phone. Called again 30-45 mins later and demanded the prompter give me someone. He answers and tells me I should have never received a text message with a window. I said well I did and you guys didn't meet that expectation. I demanded the first appointment in the morning so I did not risk missing a second day of work waiting on them. He would not guarantee that so I canceled with them. I will find someone that can live up to their promises.

My AC was not blowing cold . B&B said I needed a fan on my outside unit . Tech did move the fan but…read morehe said it was tight. I asked him to check the capacitor, which starts the fan . He said again, the fan was bad and did not check the capacitor. He said , he would order a fan and would take 2-3 days to arrive and Cost would be $390 plus , the $65 service call . I had another company come out and they said capacitor was bad and it's a $25 part !! And they charged me $50 to fix it ! B&B total cost was going to be $455 and I was going to have to purchase a Window A/C unit to get by since it was 90 degrees . I called B&B and asked for a refund for the $65 service call as they misdiagnosed (explained to secretary and she call tech). They said someone must have oiled to get the fan to work and would not refund ! No one oiled fan . The guy simply changed capacitor, I was standing there!! Be real careful with these folks and certainly get a second estimate.

Dean came that afternoon, looked the job over, gave me a fair price, began work the next week. He covered my floors, and stairs, cleaned up before he left. Noticed several other issues I had while he was here, one a light in basement, and the other water faucet leaking, he did not try to add things to run the bill up, which I appreciated. The basement was redone sue to a leak less than a year ago, so I was very thankful he saw, told me, and took care of issues that should have been done before. Any other home needs I have I will be call DNA right away.
