I would confidently vote this place as having the best quesabirria tacos. Hands down! Every time my boyfriend and I come here, we leave so happy and satisfied. Soooo good! We finally found the perfect amount of food that works for us. We get 3 quesabirria tacos, 3 chicken tacos, and 3 carne asada tacos. I can't explain how good the food is. Beautiful presentation, high-quality meats, and even the corn tortillas taste so flavorful and fresh. We are grateful for the consistent service and obviously appreciate the caliber of food. I Should start by saying this is a much overdue review. I ordered to go from this restaurant a few months ago and have been meaning to review it and have not had an opportunity until now . I tried the Carne Asada Fries, a couple of tacos, and the morta (I think that's what it was called). Everything was well-packed and still warm when I got home, which is a small but important detail I really appreciate with to-go orders. The carne asada fries were loaded with a generous amount of perfectly seasoned meat, melty cheese, and creamy guac. Definitely one of the better versions I've had in the area. Horrible service and Meat is extremely dry. I ordered 6 tacos and 1 order of carne asada fries. I came right when they opened and was second in line. Yet, I waited 40 minutes and noticed the 4-5 people behind me already received their orders and left. I went and asked the server and she lied and told me that my order took longer due to the fries. As soon as she walks away, she screams at the guys and tells them that they forgot my order. I watched them make my order, which they got wrong, and finally get it 55 minutes later. I proceed to walk out and she screams "YOU WELCOME!" . Needless to say, customer service is not their top priority. In response to the owners reply: please feel free to rewatch it yourself as there was no apology. If anyone is lying, It would be you, as I'm not the only person providing you with 1 star reviews and have noted how rude your employees are. You open at 10:30 and I was as second in line. So it took 28 minutes in line just for me to place an order after the few tacos that was placed ahead of me. I rather not waste any of my time and money on an establishment that doesn't own up to their mistakes instead of improving on them. I only take the time to review business that are excelling in service or are beyond subpar. Yours definitely fall into the latter. You only further prove my point with your response. I'm not sure what happened over the past couple of years but my husband and I have noticed a steady decline in quality of food and service , such a bummer because we were weekly regulars and now we try it maybe once a month to see if our time before was maybe a fluke and they were just having an off day but everytime I order something I never get my whole order, tacos with no consume, I ask for no onion and they put onion, etc. I understand things sometimes happen but it's been every time the past few times and we are just really disappointed because we used to frequently order from pio picos so often. Nice, clean, casual restaurant in Ontario Ranch. Location is kind of hidden behind the RodeoX building yet they are pretty busy. Loved the asada fries. Freshly made and large portions. Staff was kind and outgoing. A+ for wearing gloves while handling food. Beer/micheladas are available as well as an assortment of bottled drinks and traditional horchata. This is the best Mexican food in all of EASTVALE. I've been here about 10 times they never disappoint. Green sauce is kinda spicy still but it's their lowest level of spice and it's medium. Honestly, it seemed spicier than the red sauce which is meant to be hot. Went into Pio's today hoping to give it another try, but left feeling pretty disappointed. As soon as we walked in, the man behind the counter looked at us, then turned and walked to the back without saying a word. We waited a few minutes, but it became clear we weren't going to be acknowledged. Appearances shouldn't matter; no one should be discriminated against based on race or gender, but with everything going on in the news about ICE and the broader political climate, we couldn't shake the feeling that our perceived "white" appearance was the reason we were treated the way we were, even though we're a multicultural family. My husband may look white, but his family is from Jalisco, and I'm half Vietnamese. We've tried to support this local spot before, but even then the food wasn't great, the meat was often dry and tough. I really really wanted to like this place because it's literally across the street from me, unfortunately it did not. As you can see I ordered the 3 taco plate, plain quesadilla, and carne asada fries. The tacos were average tasting, lacking flavor with the chicken and al pastor, however the barilla was the BEST. The beans and rice that came with the plate was awful, the rice was dry and the beans weren't what I'm used to eating. 2/5. The quesadilla was for my toddler, although it was super cheesy I've also had better. The best dish were the fries even tho the carne asada was a bit overcooked.
