I visited PiNZ in Kingston, MA on a Saturday afternoon with my 2-year-old for a quick lunch. Upon entering, there wasn't a single employee in sight. I had to walk through the entire establishment and arcade to the host desk, where I was told to seat myself in the restaurant area, and that someone would be over shortly. After waiting for 10 minutes, a server approached and told me he'd be with me in a moment. Another 10 minutes passed, and I went up to the bar to order drinks and a kids' meal, along with an appetizer. After at least 45 more minutes, my toddler was becoming irritable due to hunger. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and not even what I had ordered. I explained to the server that I wanted to pay for the drinks and leave, and his response was, "There are other people I need to take care of first." While I know the server wasn't entirely to blame, this experience was a complete disaster. PiNZ is supposed to be a family-friendly place, but this was my third time dining here, and every visit has been extremely disappointing. As someone who has worked in the service industry for years, I'm honestly baffled that this place is still open. Service is terrible. Food is terrible. You couldn't pay me to come back. read more

Others come here because it's a non--pretentious place to drink amidst a Target and what is otherwise desolation. The bartenders are friendly and they have a decent beer selection--though they could stand to add some more adventurous IPAs. If you're trapped at the Independence Mall...sorry...the "Kingston Collection"...Whatever...the place that killed Waxys and a venue called Starbucks (not that Starbucks!) and a host of other businesses, including Medieval Starship (aka the real virgin megastore)...regardless...check out Pinz. The bartender was great but food is mediocre and the games are rigged to be difficult win. It's kind of like trying to win the carnival game where you climb up the ladder. My kid was dead on when she cut this string and turns out it has plastic core that the blade can't cut through easily. Such a fun concept of a place! This location has bowling, axe throwing and an arcade. The arcade games could use a little updating as some did not work properly but we still had a lot of fun. We did axe throwing here too. They have a full menu with food and drinks, we only had drinks. This location is massive, definitely at really good place for a group! read more

I was actually fairly impressed with this place. Having been to a few Dave and Busters, I tend to compare smaller establish to them. Came here for my going away get together with the girls I'd been working with for nearly 9 months. It wasn't busy. We kinda seated ourselves (weren't supposed to), but they were very kind and helped get us seated correctly. Drinks were served fast and the waitresses were accommodating to people showing up late. I ordered a buffalo chicken dip to share with the table and it was bomb. Soooo good. Almost wanted to seek out the recipe to make it myself. Almost. Ordered the Notorious PIG, which is a burger with pulled pork, onion rings, and bbq sauce. Was sooo underwhelmed. Burger was over done and the so was the pork. It had potential but didn't quite live up to it. They have a small arcade, and a section toward the back for small concerts I think. They also have a bunch of bowling lanes upfront. We got our shoes and paid at the back (or the near the outside entrance), price for one game and shoes was under $10 I believe. Auto scoring on the lanes and the pins are reset in the most fascinating way. Like pulled up by strings instead of the typical way I see them reset with the coasters. Was fun hanging with my coworkers in the alley and the guy serving was good. They piled good music overhead also and there were tv screens at the end of the lanes as well as the dining area. We had never been to pins before. We decided to randomly stop in for a bite to eat, because it's basically your ONLY choice of food visiting the Kingston mall now. We were pleasantly surprised by the $5 happy hour menu. Tuesday-Friday 3pm-9pm. We ordered multiple items. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! Bacon cheddar burgers were amazing! My boyfriend and I went to Pinz last Thursday for a date night. It wasn't busy. We went to the bar first, intending on having a drink and hanging out a bit before we either ordered food or bowled, we hadn't decided yet. There were 4 other people sitting around the bar. It took 10 minutes to get the bartender to acknowledge us. She finally brought our drinks and asked if we wanted a menu. We declined because we weren't yet hungry. Pretty sure this is where we missed our window. Twenty minutes later we had empty drinks in front of us and she hadn't once come over to ask if we wanted another. She was too busy entertaining her friends on the other side of the bar. We finally got her attention and asked for another round and a menu. Drinks came, but no menu. Another 15 minutes went by, we gave up on eating at the bar and asked if we could get food while bowling. She told us we could and we cashed out. We went bowling, again asked for a menu with the bowling server when we ordered drinks. No menu. Did they not want us to eat? We were almost done bowling when the server came back to ask us if we wanted another drink so we gave up trying to eat while we were bowling too and decided to head back to the bar to do karaoke. We got back to the bar, asked for drinks and a menu once again.... got a drink, no menu. We nursed our drinks (we had no choice, without food we were going to get tipsy at this point) and the bartender again ignored us for almost an hour, despite repeated attempts at getting her attention. (numerous smoke breaks and just a general indifference on her part). After being there for 3 hours and 3 failed attempts at trying to order food, we gave up and left. Being a server myself, I understand that places have been "understaffed"... but I found it completely obnoxious that we were ignored for so long, despite repeated attempts to get attention from ANYONE that worked there. I have been here a lot because my son visits sky zone monthly and there really isn't anywhere else to eat at this half vacant mall. The only stars I gave was beside the food the place is pretty good. Bowling & video games will keep the kids entertained. The food and service has really gone downhill. The 1lb chicken wings are just 6 small wings. Way overpriced for what you get. I had the specialty bacon pizza on gluten free dough. Honestly, it was horrible. This is the first time I have ever had a pizza I could not stomach. The service is really slow now. Today they had only one waitress busting her butt serving all of the tables and cleaning plates. You would think if they were light staffed a manager could have given some support. All and all my experience here is usually ok. Today was definitely the worst. I think next time I will just stick with simple apps and drinks. Hopefully things improve. read more

Waiter at the bowling alley was great. I wish I got his name. Scoring was automagically done, which surprised my mother and dated her a bit. Nice selection of balls, including 6 lb balls for the kids. They also had a ramp for the little ones. We ordered a couple of drinks. Prices are a little high, but it is a newer venue (I think my draught cider was $8). We also had a large soft pretzel with beer cheese. It came out piping hot and was very soft. Stopped by for a quick snack while my son was playing at Billy Bees. I sat at the bar and I must say for 12 noon on a Sunday there was no one sitting at the bar. I have been here a few times now so I can form an opinion finally. They have live music on the weekends and a dance floor, then you have two bars and a restaurant. They have amazing buffalo chic dip! The steak and cheese egg rolls are quite dry, and the buffalo wings are spiiiicy! They leave your lips burning that's for sure! The fried dough is a full plate of dough bites! Definitely enough to share! I love that pinz is a place for all ages, you have the arcade games and a prize shop for the kids, then 2 bowling lanes, ping pong tables, table shuffleboard, pool, giant jenga, and giant connect four. This review is based on a MMA event although I observed plenty of video and arcade games several bowling lanes a bar and also a restaurant and bar inside. The place is huge it's located inside the Kingston mall and if the fights didn't get over so late and I was dressed comfortably I would've been trying some of the games. They had ones you rode on they had everything to bring the kid out in you racing riding video shooting you name it they have it. I'll definitely head there to try. And restaurant looked good it has everything from wings to pizza burgers steak tips tacos and just about everything you can think of or want in between. Place is perfect for a date or for a night out with other couples or just a group of friends or you could even go yourself and have a great time. I went for my husbands work Christmas party. The food was okay, took a long time to put your order in and a long time to come out. My main reason for giving it only 2 stars was we got there at 5 pm and we were eating and drinking the whole time, at 8 pm a manager came around and tried to get us all to pay a cover charge for the band that was starting soon, I think they should have told us when we called and had the tables reserved. read more

Nice addition the the Kingston collection. Think Dave and Busters or Jillian's. This is a great entertainment complex with bowling, restaurant and arcade. A good place to hang out with friends to catch a game on the big screens they have around the restaurant or participate in one of the many activities they have including bowling, foosball, arcade or table tennis. Nice bar area to go along with it. This Kingston Collection is becoming a destination different from most malls now. They have a Billy Beez park, trampoline park, fit factory and go kart racing along with this place. This mall has become a place more for entertainment than shopping. The addition of this sports bar/bowling alley and arcade makes this mall even more attractive. Check this place out. read more

I was really looking forward to visiting a new PiNZ location. I have been to the Milford PiNZ on numerous occasions and regularly had great experiences with the restaurant, arcade, and bowling. Very spacious, modern, and reasonably priced. It's also important to note that PiNZ seems to identify and open in locations that are not always close to all sorts of traffic and other busy areas (like King's does!). Just like Milford, this PiNZ has plenty of parking. Other than that, they are significantly different. The setup of this building is absolutely horrible. Everything seems congested and not setup with flow. There are two bowling areas, each with eight lanes. The arcade is in the middle of the complex, and everyone going from one side to the other must walk through all the noise and busy kids not watching where the heck they are going. The restaurant is not private at all, also loud. All tables, no booths, and even less separation (in Milford, it's completely separate and quiet during the day). The pool tables and bowling lanes were all having problems when our party was at the complex. The pool table would not issue us the balls (they were staying inside the machine), and they were located where it was impossible to actually focus (loud music and people all over the place). Sometimes we were given wrong bowling scores or the balls were not coming back. There were very few extra bowling balls around. In Milford, there are racks and racks of extra balls throughout the bowling area. All of this is different at other entertainment complexes, and especially different at PiNZ in Milford. I was not impressed with this newer location in the least. Nothing special here. 2 stars. read more

We'll let's start this review off by saying cleanliness during these times is key! The bathrooms look as if the haven't been cleaned since pre covid. The staff sits around on their phones instead of actually doing what they're being paid for. When the server brought out our food I asked him to clean the table to which he had nothing but attitude about. Our party was up bowling and a busgirl decided to take away the food and drinks when we're clearly weren't finished with. The computer keeping score of the bowling wasn't functioning properly. My boss recently hosted a bowling night for employees at Pinz and it was GREAT! Everybody had a blast; the food was terrific (beef and chicken on sticks, sliders, etc.), the drinks were good, and the server who took care of our party of 30 was absolutely superb! Also love the high-energy vibe of this place and cool sofas in the bowling area. Watching everybody try to get the hang of ten-pin bowling was laugh-out-loud comical and added to the fun of the night. Giant Jenga was also a hoot! Fantastic live music in the club-like part of the venue had us grooving, and some of our people hung out well after our company event had wrapped to enjoy the music longer. Located in a shopping mall that has seen better days, it offers a decent wine list, a not too shabby beer list and more than hamburgers and fries. Actually, about six different burgers, great chicken Cesar salad, fairly good selection of pizzas and multiple entrees. Plus a well stocked bar that serves your choice of drinks.
