It's one of the first places you come to when entering the whole food area. However, you have to go up the hilly road to find the parking lot. The place is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. Outside it has an area with 2 TV's, basketball was playing. I loved all the decor. There are chickens and chicks around the restaurant and a cat that stopped by our table. BEWARE of the mosquitoes. We sat outdoors and I made a mention of the mosquitos and Mara said they had just run out of bug spray. One person in our party was wearing shorts and got bitten quite a bit. Mara was our waitress. She was extremely helpful and nice. We ordered the plantain soup, the avocado stuffed with cod fish and tri-fongo, and the sopa de mariscos with tostones. All was delicious.

To start, I had a chicken and cheese empanada, and a mango mojito. For the entree I had fried pork chops, with Trifongo (mixture of green plantain, yucca and sweet plantain), rice and beans, and tostones. Since I was staying at a hostel, I ordered enough to have leftovers for the next day. This place became more crowded as the early evening came on. I arrived around 6pm. By the time I left at 7:30, it was packed. There is an open grille at the entrance of the restaurant so you can watch them grilling meats. Relaxed and casual vibes. This is an after the beach, popular restaurant. Food was pretty good. Service was solid, nothing over the top. I would return.

This one in particular was just a gut feeling, and it left my gut very HAPPY! This place was not busy when we arrived but by the time we left it was hopping! The service at first was a little questionable due to my limited spanish, but we found a way to communicate effectively and ended up ordering a bunch of different items and a couple of drinks. The place is an open walled restaurant right off the road and the view is ever changing. There is no doubt this is authentic Puerto Rican fare. We were watching them prepare these items over open flames and open wood fired grills. Overall the service was excellent even with language barriers! All of the food we tried from fresh shrimp, to candied papaya and barbeque chicken from the grill. Everything was delicious. Super fresh and very tasty food that I wish we found on the first day -instead of on the last day! The prices and value are amazing! If you go to San Juan - Go here first! Day or Night - these places are making amazing local food!

Solid start. This is a classic chinchorro spot, so we went straight for the fried stuff: a bacalaito and two pastelillos (langosta y carne). The pastelillos were the real stars--perfectly crunchy, flaky, and stuffed with well-seasoned fillings. Our server accidentally broke the carne one and, without missing a beat, threw in an extra on the house. That kind of easygoing generosity is exactly the vibe you want from a roadside spot. The bacalaito had great flavor, though I'd have loved a little more crunch on it. Service was friendly and fast throughout. All of this (food, drinks, tax, and tip) came in under $25. No complaints there. If you're doing the chinchorreando thing along Route 187, put Donde Olga on the list. Highly recommend.

Food was called as it was made and they cross it off your receipt, so do not expect to eat as a family. (They call your name as they make one or two things) I After much confused discussion, it was determined that the receipt had blown away. The experience was "meh" at best. Would try anything else if I return to the area and wouldn't try this place again. It did seem like many locals came here and we were the only tourists, so maybe it's better if this is a place where you're a regular customer.

We were on our way to the beach one day when we decided to stop here to grab a bite to eat and a refreshing adult beverage. We came at the right time too because every day after that this place was jam packed with people. It was a great spot with beautiful views. The service was a little slow for only having about 6 patrons other than us but we weren't in a hurry and the waiters were both very friendly. I did get a little impatient at one point and walked over to the little fried food area in the front and ordered something while we were waiting on our order and the waiter saw me and his face was like wtf my guy. lol. Sometimes it's faster but sometimes it's slower... Many of the reviews give low ratings due to service/timeliness, but that's just a Puerto Rico standard so I don't think they should get dinged (!)

It was recommended by one of our tour guides so it is a great option for both locals and tourists. It had a nice atmosphere and very large menu with many different types of options. The Frutti di mare was one of the best pastas I've ever had! It had almost every type of seafood you could want. A great option for someone who wants to try a bit of everything. It was large enough to satisfy you but not too large where you have to take leftovers it back to your hotel. It also came with a salad and delicious bread. My husband ordered the yucafongo pollo, and was very impressed. It was also filling and well made. The drink menu also had a lot of options. I went with the sangria which was super tasty! It's more on the fruity side. Our service was great and we didn't have to wait long for a table or our food, although it seemed busy. Whether you live in the area or are just on vacation, I would recommended trying it out!

The service was a little confusing at first. We were seated and expected to access the menu through a QR code, which wasn't immediately explained to us. We initially expected traditional menus, so there was a bit of uncertainty before we realized how the ordering process worked. We were also seated near one of the air conditioning units, which made some members of our party feel a bit cold during the meal. However, once the food arrived, all of those concerns quickly disappeared. The food was incredible. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, every dish at the table was delicious. The arroz con pollo was honestly the best I have ever had in my life. It was perfectly seasoned, comforting, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like authentic Puerto Rican cooking at its best. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and it made for a wonderful birthday dinner for my wife. While the service experience could be a little clearer and some seating areas may be colder than others, the quality of the food more than makes up for those minor issues. I would absolutely return on a future visit to Puerto Rico.
