Rice and beans, chicken with garlic sauce, salad
    Nina R.

Yelp reviews brought me here. Unfortunately, they were out of four of the beef dishes on the menu that sparked my interest. They were completely out of beef. I've been eating pork for days, so that was not an option, and I really didn't want chicken nor fish. However, the waitress told me one of the chicken dishes was very good so I tried it. I had an appetizer and a cocktail. They were fine. For the entree, I had chicken breast with a creamy garlic sauce, served with seasoned rice mixed with beans. The rice was flavorful, but it was not warm, not heated thoroughly. The chicken lacked depth of flavor. It was cooked plain with a garlic sauce poured on top and a few slices of red sweet peppers. Service was fine. The waitress was very friendly and asked how everything was. I told her the rice was not warm. She offered to fix it. However, I lost my appetite. Casual dining atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. Maybe is was a bad night, not sure. I'm on vacation, so I will not return.

Great atmosphere. The service was quick and attentive. Portion sizes are fantastic! Pricing was stellar as well for a family

The food portions were enough for two. First time I was served a very good portion of seafood with my mofongo. The waitress was very courteous and attentive. The ambience was nice. I would have to visit again on a Friday.

Vinimos aquí por casualidad y la comida estaba delicioso. Jessyan nos ayudó y el servicio estaba increíble! Cuando regresamos a Puerto Rico volvemos a comer aquí porque todo estaba perfecto.

This is a cafeteria style business. The service is prompt, attentive and friendly. They have a full PuertoRican fare. It is family oriented, Salsa music plays on the radio. The tables are set for 4and a few for 6. They serve alcoholic beverages in a very casual atmosphere. Their food is served hot and everything comes out to order. They're open weekdays 11:00-9:00, on the weekends till 10pm. They are located at the Plaza Del Parque in Bayamón. I loved it. Come check it out!

Toston Jibareño is an excellent choice for those that want real Puerto Rican cuisine, outside the tourist strip. It is located in a strip mall in Bayamon. We had dinner there twice! The service was Excellent on both occasions, different waiters. It is very spacious,, clean, Affordable, and short wait time.

This is an excellent place if you are shopping and want to eat authentic Puerto Rican cuisine with a busy diner/cafeteria style ambiance. There's ample free parking in the strip mall, and restrooms were nice and clean. We arrived at around 1 pm and it was almost full but we found a table for two right away. The server immensely took our drink order, which included a glass of the house Merlot wine ($6) and a Medalla beer served in a cold glass mug. We both had variations of their salmorejo de jueyes(a well seasoned local land crab meat casserole). I had it in a stuffed large half avocado with rice and beans and a side salad, and my sister had it as a casserole with fried plantain tostones and side salad. The jueyes salmorejo was delicious and served in portions. The tostones were nicely done with a crunchy exterior and freshly fried to a perfect golden hue. I didn't find my beans to be particularly tasty, lacking the taste of condiments in a well made sofrito. But, all in all, it was a great experience and I'm definitely returning.

Probably the best meal we've had this entire trip. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant for dinner. Food and drinks were delicious. Portion sizes were on the larger side.

This is a great place to enjoy some good comfort food. The prices are reasonable and the amount of food are big portions and delicious. I had the bistec encebollado con tostones. The staff is very friendly too. So glad we stumbled across this place.

I was on line with a bunch of people who knew what they came for: good old Puerto Rican cuisine. I went for the pork stuffed with yuca. In was covered in bacon. What a delight!!! I have never tried this and was ecstatic at the combination of flavors. I had two more carbs as side dishes as if that was not enough. Yuca frita fríes and arroz con longaniza. I was in heaven. I was told by saint Peter that this will be served in the heavenly banquet. I was well beyond full from the serving size but not ashamed of the generosity of their service. No longer could I pretend to have an inspired working dinner. I was a clear recipient of the culinary genius behind this creation. Enjoy!!

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, and the service was excellent from beginning to end, from the hostess to the servers and bussers. Our server, Jeffery, was amazing! I never thought I could fall in love with a soup, but here we are!
