His name is Michael Wallace and I can't say enough good things about him. His gentle way of encouraging me to go above and beyond is unlike any other establishment up here. I've been here before for a back issue and this time for strength issues. Michael has great people skills and can motivate me to do things that I wouldn't normally even attempt!! During my initial evaluation with L, Asst P/T, I brought Xray a disk of affected area for his review (advised by Dr. N); L chose not to review Xray, saying, "he did not need to see it". His prescribed exercises were extremely painful. I was depressed that there was no improvement. On my (unplanned) last visit with G I learned from her that I was negatively being discussed by Staff as non-participatory, and for my claims of excruciating pain as well as their assumption that I was not doing prescribed home exercises (their conjecture); G was angry that I did not recall the exercise names. I was bullied, berated and judged by G. Why did L. choose not to review my Xrays... I decided no mas after being humiliated, verbally abused and judged by G. Postscript: I had a full hip replacement shortly after. Never, Ever would I return to this sub-sub low rent Rehab Service.

Last visit I had with a so-called doctor at Dignity Health San Andreas was an older dr grey hair…read morewith a beard in overweight I won't mention the names but was assisting Dr. Robles, who I could not get an appointment with I've had colitis and a liver transplant. My stomach had been killing me for months. I went there for the problem and explained my stomach and diarrhea problems I've been having. He told me everything was fine. Blood test look good. All they were were standard blood test. I told him something's wrong he said no you're good so there's nothing I could do I asked? His remarks were no. He didn't even bother requesting a test for my stomach. Just use my standard blood test. I had a week prior for my liver monitoring. I was so mad. I just walked out went to another doctor at stanford and found out from the stool test that that doctor gave me that I had antigen in my stool thank God I went to the other doctor if I let that go it could've ended up putting me in the hospital for a months! I'll never go to this hospital again for anything other than my standard blood test to monitor my liver. My experience with these doctors if that's what they are, are very incompetent.

Once there the ER Staff started life saving treatment on her and had an onsite surgical team (this was a Saturday morning) immediately start working on her. She was stabilized and placed on life support and flown by REACH helicopter to Saint Josephs Hospital in Stockton. She remained in critical condition for days in ICU and apparently coded twice. Had the Mark Twain Emergency Room staff and the Surgical team not- provided the medical care they did she would not have survived. That said, she recently had another medical emergency and again was taken to Mark Twain. Once again, they provided fantastic care. This time she remained in Mark Twain and the entire staff was unbelievable. My wife is still here today thanks to the entire staff at Mark Twain.

When conventional medicine from my family doctor didn't work, I saw numerous masseuses, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist and even considered an expert in "hot stone" therapy. While traversing this maze of cures I spent some time at Amador Physical Therapy. The facility is basically one large room filled with exercise equipment and some adjoining smaller consultation rooms. I understood the concept of help through stretching and strengthening, but for the guidance I received and the exercises I was taught (many of which I perform already as part of my basic workout routine), I feel my money would have been better spent elsewhere. The staff was friendly, although their chattiness around the center island while surrounded by concentrating patients seemed a little unprofessional. After three weeks and hundreds of dollars, I left with little more knowledge than I came in with and almost no reduction in pain. I've since found a combination of chiropractic care and massage that works much better. My pain is almost completely gone. Physical therapy may work for some, but for me I needed other methods.

They explained what was going on with my hips that had impacted my back, set everything right, gave me lots of advice on how to prevent any further injury, and were friendly in doing so.
