Doughnuts and Doughcro were still amazingly soft regardless of being late afternoon. Only thing that I didn't care about was the cashier who made sure I was aware of the tip jar once the tip amount was shown on the POS terminal. Totally turned me off, especially as I'm one to tip when excellent customer service is given, but trying to be sly and move your tip jar was a BIG turn off for me. I was sitting in Starbucks waiting for our coffee and the man at the next table had a bag from Pinkbox. Their slogan of "So good you'll lick the bag/box" roped me in (advertising works!). I also checked the reviews on Yelp. The donut names and flavor combination are so much fun. They offered 10% off 6 or 20% of one dozen, so we bought 6. The workers were quick and efficient. I don't officially remember all of the names, however we got the Vegas cream (Bavarian filled), Purple Rain (ube), Strawberry Shortcake, two Holy Cannolis (Chocolate Marscapone) and the Dirty Twist (triple chocolate in a twisted donut). My favorite was the strawberry shortcake. I had higher expectations for the Holy Cannoli, but i should've know i wouldn't like it because marscapone and sugar gave it a cheesecake... so i gave it to family when we got home. My daughter loves chocolate bars, but said The Dirty Twist was just okay. The ube donut was a decent cake donut but lacked a really good ube flavor. My husband liked the Bavarian cream but it wasn't stellar. They were decent donuts, but we ended up throwing away what we didn't give away or eat, so I'm sorry, we did not lick our box. This particular Pinkbox is located inside a minimart behind a big gas station near the Primm Valley Resort. The have a nice variety of creative donuts to offer, so I was very pleased to stop there and buy one. The downside is they do not offer any place to sit down and eat your donut there, so it's basically take out only. I also wanted to buy a cup of hot coffee to enjoy with my donut. They did sell some drinks, but did not offer hot coffee. There is a Starbucks right next door, and the mini mart also sells hot coffee, but of course, that requires paying separately and waiting on another line. read more

Oh man, what an amazing thing. Nice ube flavors and it tasted like it was fried 30 min prior. Which is weird because I don't think they fry the donuts at this location on site. My kids grabbed some literal pink donuts, and they totally enjoyed it. Stay away from the marshmallow filled one though. Forget the name. It's a sugar b0mb. Per donut prices are $1.95 - $5.25 at this location (as of January 2024) with 10% off any 6 and 20% off any dozen. They are expensive but would be great to bring to special events or parties. This location is well-staffed and service is fast and friendly, and is in the gas station next to a Starbucks. My verdict: I only tried the Purple Rain donut (ube flavored glazed cake donut with crumb topping). Holy crap it was delicious mainly because the dough was moist, light and fluffy - unlike any cake donut I've ever had, but was lacking ube flavor but still nicely sweet. Pretty much the best donuts within 300 miles!! If you've never tried Pinkbox, it is a Vegas mainstay since 2017, though their original 1st location opened 5 years earlier. They currently have 8 locations scattered around LV, so look around for that pink sign or check the app for more locales closest to you. I actually found this "last stop" outlet at Primm on my way home back to L.A. and HAD to stop for some delicious fixins to get me through the drive home (and beyond) since I never got a chance during my weekend to get any near the hotel / strip where I was staying. They have classic donuts (which are pretty amazing) and the extra fancy donuts which are completely above and beyond. My closest comparison to this place in L.A. is Randy's Donuts or Donut Friend, but actually the Pinkbox in my opinion are even more delicious and cost the same or slightly less than these places. They also have 75 varieties of donuts, plus donut bites if you just need a little nibble. Plus if you buy 6 or 12 donuts you get a 10 or 15% discount, so I always get the half dozen which worked out to $2 each! Not bad for a half dozen of these glazed goodies! A bunch of friends in Vegas have been raving about PinkBox doughnuts. I decided to give them a try on my way home to CA so I stopped by their location in Primm, NV. This Pinkbox shop is located inside of a rest area type of facility adjacent to a gas station. Most of their popular donuts had sold out by the time I arrived in the mid afternoon. I got the coffee filled one, Christmas filled and a white chocolate strawberry. They were good but I think my expectations were a bit high as they seemed over-hyped. Paying about $13 for 3 donuts was also a bit ridiculous. I consider myself a donut connoisseur so I've experienced many of the popular gourmet donut shops in CA where the famous "cronut" was born and I'd be okay paying that for speciality donuts. The service is what kept me from leaving a 3-star review. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Overall, if you're craving donuts in Vegas, definitely check them out. read more

This was our first time hearing about and going to a Pinkbox Doughnut shop. First of all - luv the name! It caught my attention right away! We were stopping at Primm for a quick break and to stretch our legs and I noticed the signs for Pinkbox. It turns out, the shop was in the Chevron station where there's also a Starbucks. The shop is adorable and fun! I just love their vibe! Pink and sprinkles and cuteness all over - and their donuts are colorful and fun! And the employees are really nice! I had asked about where Pinkbox had originated and they not only told me about the shop, they also know where the other locations were. We figured we'd just get a couple of donuts since we were on our way to Vegas and all we mostly would be doing is eating our way through the town! I got my favorite - an apple fritter - and my hubby got his fave - an old fashioned with maple glaze. My apple fritter was delicious! Crunchy on the outside, moist in the middle, and a perfect sweetness. It was so tasty, my hubby, son and I gobbled it up!! (Made me kinda wish that I would have gotten another donut!) - I'm not a big fan of maple anything, but I did try a tiny piece of my husband's old fashioned - it was just too sweet for me, but my husband enjoyed it! This definitely is going to be a new stop for us the next time we're heading to Vegas! Good donuts are tough to find - and Pinkbox has got it down. This is the second time I've been here and it always make me feel so happy seeing the bright pink decor on arriving. Their quality never waivers and I'm astonished how many flavors they have! It's not as loud as it looks unless you stay just outside the pink box where it also connects with the gas station. I for the vegan orange crème poop donut, share bear, and banana cream pie donut. My boyfriend got the blueberry cronut (aka purple face) and he confirmed it was good (it was his first time there) and his mom got the Apple fritter and the crumb cake, which she has yet to try. Since it's buy 6 we got 10% off on all our donuts and it total to a little over $20 before tip. The gentleman there didn't seem to be too optimistic, but we appreciate his speedy service. I'm still laughing as I write this because it is 100% worth the stop just to be stared at by poop emoji donuts. I am bummed we didn't get one but I have never seen an ube donut before and had to snag it instead! The ube donut is not car friendly (crumbs on crumbs) but it is delicious! The blueberry cronut version was also delicious. It was one of the lightest cronuts varieties I have ever had with little grease factor so two thumbs up for the donuts. The purple color of both donuts was fun as well and the place as a whole was whimsical with super nice friendly staff. It's a must stop if your driving to Vegas from IE. It's at the state line inside the chevron station. We happened to stumble upon PinkBox when we stopped to use the restroom. You can't miss it, it's vibrant and right in front of you when you walk through the doors. Great selection of regular and very unique donuts. I like the porky maple bar that has bacon bits on top. I also like the cronut version. If you've never had a cronut you're missing out. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the employee behind the counter was too loud for me and too over the top energetic for my liking. The people in front of me were eating it up. Never heard of Pinkbox Doughnuts until I saw someone scarfing some down at the Allegiant Stadium during a Raider game. I wanted it but also was super over beveraged so I didn't want anything sweet. However, to my pleasant surprise, I saw they had a location at Stateline when my hubby was gassing up for the ride back home. I ordered a regular chocolate bar and a Nutella Cronut (or something) LET ME TELL YOU...the NUTELLA ONE WAS AMAZING! Super soft, fresh and full of Nutella.
