The one other girl in there with the appointment didn't mind if Adrianna helped both of us at the same time, so without expecting to try on dresses that very day, that is exactly what I did! I tried on a decent amount of dresses until I ran out of time, but Adrianna wrote down the dresses I liked and made sure to save them aside for me to come back with an appointment. When I made my appointment to go back, I specifically requested for her because I loved how nice and helpful she was to accommodate me. At my appointment, Adrianna went above and beyond!! She is very passionate about helping brides find their perfect dress. She feels your style and from there knows EXACTLY what to find and even pulls other dresses you're not sure you will like but may like if you try it on. She also knows how to pull certain veils and accessories that will look good paired with dresses. Overall, Le Reve may look small from the outside, but they have A LOT of beautiful dresses packed in there. All kinds of styles for every body shape and size. The dresses are moderately priced. She handled me with grace and made me feel comfortable. While I was deciding on a $1,550 dress and $450 veil, the owner made 2 comments that didn't sit with me well regarding the dress "It's your size and there aren't many options in your size," and then, as I stepped aside to make a phone call, added, "I need to know what you're going to do because I have to write this up." The pressure and tone were unnecessary and disappointing. There were also no price tags, and asking for prices resulted in vague responses. "It's Couture and expensive" In the end, I paid $50 to try on only a couple of dresses and left feeling rushed, limited, and discouraged. Curvier brides should be aware that the inclusivity and sensitivity you expect may not be what you experience here.

To…read morestart, I had a very bad sales representative who took incorrect measurements, gave me incorrect information and started this mess which the owner and designer had little intention of fixing. The measurements for my bust were way too small. My chest was spilling out during the wedding and even after attempts and requests to fix the issue, the designer told me if I made any further alterations it would become a completely different dress than her design concept and would not do it. The sales rep told me the alterations were included , it was not, although I did like my seamstress and she did her best. Still it was on Me for not reading the contract, because it clearly was not included. The sales rep was incorrect in the timeline which made this all rushed. She said it could be done in 3/4 months which I was later told was very uncommon and likely lead to some of these issues. The sales rep I initially worked with was fired, but Zaaka had little interest in making up for these issues. What bothers me is all this with the veil cost almost $10,000 which is a lot for a dress and in the end, I didn't look great. The entire wedding I felt insecure because of the spillage in my chest, and the bodice being too tight. It was just too expensive to three years later still wish I went in a different direction.

Here, Melanie would hand me a new gown as i handed her the old one. She'd let me step into it (instead of micromanaging me and dressing me like a toddler like some other places), she'd clamp/zip me up, I'd come out, show it off, then go back into the changing room and take it off, and rinse & repeat. They have a cute floral backdrop to take pics against as well. They had a nice selection of dresses. Three of my bridesmaids joined me for this trip and they all felt comfortable and that they could be themselves. Some other shops I've been to were stiff or very quiet. Diamonds & Pearls was also the first (and only!) shop to suggest turning off the lights so I could see how the dress would look at night time and in darker settings. They do offer in house alterations as well. The only downside to this place was that they didn't have multiple mirrors to see different angles; it was just the one large mirror per my photo. Overall I really enjoyed working with Melanie! She was in my top 2 of bridal shop attendants I've had. My appointment was 90 minutes and because of how efficient it was, I got to try on a lot of dresses!

Not only did I get a great suit, but Andrew was also extremely knowledgeable about the history of suits and we got a nice little history lesson as to why certain things are the way they are. We went in during the World Cup and they put the game on for us. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was and how highly I recommend checking them out!
