I needed to have two stakes put in my yard to mark two boundaries/corners. They assured me they could do that within two weeks. After almost 5 weeks I still do not have my land marked. I was not informed of delays and kept being told I'd have it done today or tomorrow. Given that we have never missed a payment on our mortgage and are therefore obviously not presently at risk of foreclosure, I thought this was unethical and called to complain. Spoke both to the Broker-In-Charge and to the person whose name was on the letters to have us removed from this postal spam. Have since received four more of these things. Their defense (of which I have a recording)? "If it has a stamp on it, a letter is perfectly legal." Charming.
