When I found out that Emiko did bottom lash extensions, I was overjoyed and was even more pleased because she was in my area. During my consultation, I mentioned that I just previously had top eyelash extensions put on so she went ahead and took a look at the job. Shocked at knowing that a few of my lashes were glued to one extension, I knew that there was some damage made. I allowed her to remove some of them (an extra 20 bucks-such a waste of money and I hate that), so she could apply one extension to one eyelash. What a huge difference!! The lashes were softer, more defined and natural looking, and weren't clumped together with huge spaces between them. They really made my eyes pop and enhanced them beautifully. Emiko was gentle and made sure I was comfortable the entire time... I actually dozed off twice. Everyone there was very kind and welcoming making my visit an amazing one. If you are truly looking for quality eyelash extensions and specialists that handle your lashes with love and care, definitely come here. I'm excited to go back and get a full set from Emiko. The 2nd time I protested, she challenged me, but I was insistent that she was wrong not to ask my permission (she wanted $60 more for extra lashes that I never asked for!). It was difficult for me to decipher if our miscommunication was because of the language barrier, but since I'm a language teacher and she's a businesswoman, I think not. Emiko is skilled at what she does, but I didn't appreciate her sneaky way of trying to make more off of me.

First, I feel she could've been kinder when she missed my messages over a five day period. I never received an apology and in person, she was not the warmest person. That's fine, though, not everyone needs to be super bubbly! Second, I thought it was incredibly uncomfortable to sit in a chair with no back support for the entire duration of my brow appointment, which was close to an hour. Again, having now gone to another artist, most have a bed where you can lay down and relax. I actually asked her about this and she said the bed is only used for lashes. Finally, I thought she did a fine job, but having had them done by another artist, I like my brows much better by the new artist. All of this said, I had initially gone to her once before just for shaping and tinting and I thought she did a great job. I've attached a photo of that service. The only downside is that the tint faded extremely fast.
