Pink Cloud Tea & More is a cute little shop located on Addison Street & Shattuck. There is only street parking and thankfully I lucked out. Staff were super nice and attentive. There is also a self order station. I ordered the cheesy ham toast and added bacon with jasmine milk tea. My brother ordered the bulgogi toast with a strawberry drink. Our total came out to be about $41. Everything was made to order so of course it took some time so I was looking at some of their decor while I waited. The pink clouds were too cute. There's a bar table that you can sit at and one circle table outside. My brother and I thought our toast sandwiches were delicious. The eggs were so fluffy! A part of me wishes some of the eggs and meat were stuffed towards the bottom just cause it was hard to take gigantic bites at the top BUT this is also the least messiest I've ever eaten one of these Korean toast sandwiches so I guess that's also a win. First time here! The Avocado Queen was delicious!! It was a generous portion and I loved how tasty the bread was. The size makes it pretty hard to eat, but I'm not complaining haha. My friend got the BEC and she liked it! I also got the Oreo Fresh Milk at 75% sweetness and it was perfect, I was scared it would be too sweet. I'm glad they allow oat milk substitution. My companion wanted to try a new spot and chose Pink Cloud for us to visit. The shop is on the smaller end but boasts a drink and food menu which drew us in. The inside of the shop has four bar stools and one table outside--most take it to go. The decorations are cute including some pink clouds, a crepe station, and other fun items. Service was very friendly and kind but it did take a little longer for our food to come out so be mindful of that. We chose to share the Sunset Lover and Classic Jianbing. I felt that the drink was just okay in terms of flavor. I also felt like the toppings included were minimal such as the basil seeds and mango. I preferred the food over the drink. The jianbing was made to order and cut in half which was perfect for us to share. My companion has had it before but it was my first time and I enjoyed it! The crepe part was soft yet crispy while the filling was a balance of sweet and savory. I'd want to try their other foods. For those interested in a boba shop selling something to sip and eat, I'd recommend Pink Cloud Tea & More for their food over their drinks. They have Chinese crepes here! They do run on the sweeter side and the way they make it is much more fusion/Americanized. They make it fresh but it's not the best one I've had. Drink here is okay. It's a pretty small cafe and not a lot of seats. Parking is hard to find. One of my favorite milk tea places in Berkeley! There is never a long line or a crowd by the drinks are always delicious and the staff is super nice! I always get the roasted oolong tea with the crème brûlée on top and they do a great job of actually torching the top so it has a great taste to it. I haven't tried any of the sandwiches but they always smell so good when I'm there and they seem giant! read more

A little disappointed :( Great ambiance and service. To preface, I'd like to give the food and drinks another chance. I ordered the Classic JianBing. I have to say I'm definitely a bit bias. I was comparing it to my favorite jianbing restaurant in China. I have been craving it for a long time and checked out Pink Cloud for their jianbing. It was decent but I think it was missing flavor. The pork floss was overtaking the rest of the jianbing components. It tasted more sweet than salty because of the overwhelming pork floss. My friend ordered the Egg Sando. It looked pretty good. They said the egg was perfect but the bread was very salty and garlicky. Honestly, not the best food I've had, but I want to give them another chance with their drinks. Was craving boba and saw that Pink Cloud had recently just opened in the past few months. They're very on brand with the cute fluffy pink clouds light fixtures for interior decor. The parking is a hit or miss if you're driving in, so be prepared to pay for parking, otherwise if you get lucky you might snag some street parking. They seem to be famous for their famous korean sando's, but ya girl just wanted some boba. Seems like everyone who got the food really enjoyed it and gave them 5 stars. I think there's too much competition for quality boba in the city, so Pink Cloud has lost to go up against. Service was efficient and they had a couple bobaristas working hard to make the orders. I got their OG pink cloud milk tea, which comes with brown sugar and agar boba. It was good and adequate, your standard milk tea which is something I usually go for as a traditional boba lover. The tea left little to be desired, kind of watered down, but not too sweet for those who love 0% sugar. The boba quality was chewy but lacked the springy QQ texture I like that spots like Sunright and TP Tea usually get right every time. I ordered online for pickup, and they had my order ready for me as I circled for parking. They have contactless ordering and in-person ordering if you're looking for the human experience. I've been watching loads of Asian street food videos on Youtube lately and sought out some on Yelp, only to find this new spot by my alma mater! I called in and ordered the Pink Cloud Royal King sandwich and First Kiss special drink for pick up. I knew the area and anticipated a difficult time finding parking, so it took a while for me to pick up my food. I'm really content with the staff's service because they did a follow up call for me letting me know that my order was ready. The shop is small and quaint, but there are some seats to eat and drink at. The staff were working hard and were super friendly and helpful. Now let's talk food and drink: PINK CLOUD ROYAL KING - Delicious! Reminiscent of the egg drop sandwiches I've had in Korea, and it was filled with immense flavor. The bulgogi ribeye, hollandaise sauce, and garlic butter were the culprits of such success! The only thing that was off for me was the egg being a bit more "liquidy" at certain points rather than fluffy (no worries though - still yummy!) FIRST KISS - I asked to get this at 50% sweetness and found it to be the perfect level for me! I loved the way the cheese foam topped off the peach smoothie, especially since I never thought about the two combined in terms of an ice cold drink. First impression here was a success! An unassuming exterior, but cutely decorated on the inside! As for dining indoors, there are only 3 teeny spots facing the window. I went after 1:30 pm so there was no line, which I was grateful for because I was starving. My friend and I both ordered the BEC and he also got a jasmine fresh tea with foam. The food took 10-15 minutes. I was watching the worker make a JianBing as well which is what I want to try next! It looked so crispy BEC review: so aesthetic! The eggs were very soft scrambled and fluffy. The bacon is more on the "undercooked" soggy side, so if you like crispy bacon, this might not be for you. The breaddddd...SO fluffy and so soft with the perfect crunchy exterior coated in garlic butter. It looks like two pieces of bread but it's actually one very thick piece of toast cut 3/4 of the way down with the fillings stuffed in. The bottom of the sandwich is all bread, but I love bread so take that as you will. It was ~$11 after tax. As for the drink review, my friend said it tasted like watered down tea. The cheese foam also didn't sit well on top of the fresh tea. Drinks ranged from $5-$7. Overall I would go back for the food, but I don't think I will try the drinks. read more

It wasn't very special, and felt a bit over priced because it was under whelming. I really liked their egg sandwich. The garlic bread was perfectly garlicky and the bulgogi was well marinated and tender. I definitely felt way too full without finishing it so beware of a food coma! Pink Cloud is a super cute spot to grab a bite and drink to go! Their decor is so welcoming and you really feel the pink cloud theme. This spot is close to UC Berkeley so parking can be challenging but there are bus stops super close by as well as BART! I ordered their royal king sandwich which has delicious beef, cheese, soft scrambled egg, sauce, and scallions on super delicious fluffy bread! my child and i came in for a quick weekday lunch where we each ordered one of pink cloud's famous egg sandos and a drink. the cafe is quite small with only a 4 seat bar inside and a folding table for two posted outdoors. luckily, there were not many people this early, so we were able to snag the table outside, and the staff was kind enough to deliver our orders to us. ok onto the food review (i won't be reviewing what my daughter ordered, as i didn't try any of it, but she seemed to quite enjoy her food): a-tier: pink cloud egg sando: to start, i'd like to say that this sandwich was absolutely MASSIVE. my child couldn't even finish her avocado sando, and both of us had trouble with even biting into our sandwiches because of how huge they were. the sandwich itself was pretty tasty -- i definitely enjoyed the bulgogi inside of mine and the eggs were also very fluffy and enjoyable. however, i believe the toast left a bit to be desired, as it felt more reminiscent to texas toast inside of the slightly sweet garlicky bread that is used at other korean sando establishments. another minor qualm that i had was that my daughter specifically requested no lettuce in her sando, yet she still ended up getting lettuce in it. (tbh she should probably eat more vegetables, though.) b-tier: mango green tea: while the tea wasn't anything super special, i definitely enjoyed the fruity flavors and bits of mango in it. i think i would've enjoyed a topping other than the popping mango boba that was added by default, as i felt as though the drink lacked a bit of dimension that would've been remedied with the addition of a contrasting, but not clashing fruit flavored boba such as passion fruit, or the addition of a more delicately flavored topping, such as aiyu jelly. overall, my child and i enjoyed our experience at pink cloud tea, and i'd definitely come back to try their jian bing. read more

You can get a non-dairy milk option for an added cost. I went with regular milk for both. The price is average for what I expect from Berkeley prices and only one size available (which is a substantial amount). Also, it helps when the boba is included in the cost of the drink. The milk teas was all decent. Nothing particularly noteworthy but definitely a good standard and good solid place to come back to. Finally got a chance to come down to Berkeley to try this boba shop! I believe they are fairly new and opened not too long ago. Store is very clean and there's a couple of tables and chairs where you can sit outdoors. There's also a few seats along the window. Service was quick and friendly! I tried the roasted oolong milk tea with boba (half sugar) and it was not bad! Boba was warm and chewy. The oolong milk tea flavor was rich and milky! Perfect combination with the boba. Pro tip: their drinks aren't too sweet to begin with so next time, I can probably up my sugar level to 75%. Parking can be a bit difficult since it's close the UC Berkeley and it's so close to the downtown area. Lots of foot traffic and cars so we had to drive about a block away to find a spot. They are also known for their classic jianbing (crepes) and Korean style sandwiches/street toast. I was too full from lunch so I didn't want to order it and not eat it fresh. I always order delivery from this place since their sandos and tater tots are so good, but the drinks I got this time around are just sad. I ordered a dirty taro oolong milk tea, which was supposed to have a taro swirl on the side, but it had no taro at all. They seemed to take the place of Yomie's Purple Rice Yogurt, another boba-esque establishment that only had a less than one year life span. But, with food as good as Pink Cloud's, I hope they're here to stay. My boyfriend and I seemed to have ordered the entire sandwich monarchy (an Avocado Queen sandwich and the Pink Cloud Royal King). Unlike your run-of-the-mill breakfast sandwich, Pink Cloud's elaborate sandwiches come with more than just egg, toast, and a slice of cheese. They're served in plush slices of garlic milk toast, and the scrambled eggs come out barely underdone such that they retain creaminess and fluffiness. They are quite decadent though, so be warned: having one for breakfast may lead to a very sluggish day ahead. While the sandwiches were good overall, my boyfriend and I agreed that the bread was a touch too sweet and could've had more savoriness to counteract the milk toast's prominent flavor. Regardless, I'll definitely be back. I couldn't stop raving about this lunch since having it, and my boyfriend can attest. What made the experience even better were the employees. A cute little spot by Berkeley campus! This small cafe serves lots of drinks and foods but I particularly liked their sandwiches which are made with thick garlic toasts. It can be a bit much of bread at the end but it does add a biice toasty and garlicky flavor. The drinks might be a little sweet depending on what you get. The strawberry matcha had strawberry syrups vs more real starwberries so it tastes like candy if that's what you prefer. They also have jianbings with a special one made with ramen. I had heard about this spot newly opening up from another friend, and saw that they had the Korean egg sandwiches that I really wanted to try. The inside is quite small, but they do have a few seats against the window and also a table outside. We got our orders taken quite quickly, but were told that it would take around 20 minutes to get the food which was fine with us. I ordered a pink cloud royal king sandwich without cheese which had soft scrambled eggs, bulgogi, lettuce, and their special sauce all between fluffy pieces of garlic toast. I've never had a Korean egg sandwich before so this was also my first time trying the dish itself. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and also a great portion! The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bulgogi was seasoned well, and the sauce was a perfect accompaniment. My favorite part had to be the bread though -- they use japanese milk bread, and add a garlic spread to make it extra delicious! I would order just the bread alone if I could. Since we got our food around 15 minutes before closing, the owner was super kind and let us stay inside to finish. She even offered us free oolong milk teas which was extremely generous of her. The drink was really good and had a very strong tea flavor which I enjoy, and wasn't super sweet too. Pink Cloud is very close to the Downtown Berkeley BART station so my boyfriend and I stopped by because our train wasn't due for thirty minutes. The restaurant was very small and very cutely decorated, with a variety of cats and Lego flowers littering the shelves. Above the counter are two large TV screens which explain the menu. We ordered via a screen to the side, although I believe you could order ahead via Hungry Panda as well. I got the Passionfruit Green Tea with Agar Jelly, and my boyfriend got the Yuzu Green Tea with Agar Jelly. There is only one size cup available, a tall 24 oz container, but there is a variety of ice levels, sweetness levels, and even a few hot drinks to choose from. The costs came out to around $7 a drink. Because of the store's set up, you can easily see over the counter to where they make the drinks and food, which seems a little bit stressful for the employees. They all wore matching masks as they prepared our food. There was a little table outside you could sit at, although the place was receiving a pretty steady flow of customers while I was there so parents were often already seated at the table. I forgot to check for Wi-Fi, but I did see an outlet in the wall. It was too small for a public restroom to be available. A few people received sandwiches while we waited for our order, and they looked really good. I'm tempted to stop by to try one later on. Our drinks came out, and they were delicious! Really cute tea shop in downtown Berkeley! Staff were very friendly, service was quick. I ordered the roasted oolong milk tea with 25% sweetness and 50% ice. It was really good, but maybe a little watery. Definitely would go back for a sandwich, jian bing, or crepe, as those seemed to be what people went there for! read more

Overall Rating: 8/10 I've been wanting to try this for so long! The bread is AMAZING. It's so buttery and garlicky. The sandwich is so flavorful and everything goes well together (egg +cheese + bulgogi = perfect combo) My only complaint is that there is BARLEY any meat! It's only on the top of the sandwich. I wish it was throughout the sandwich. The service was a little slow. Best egg sando I've had! Better than the ones I've had in LA. If you are the type that like your scrambled eggs fluffy and soft (not super liquidly like in french scramble) then this is the place for you! --pink cloud royal king egg sando: so buttery and like a cloud! roll was garlic bread which was *chefs kiss* paired so well with the egg. the bulgogi on top was really flavorful but honestly the egg and bread paired so well just on it's own didn't even need the cheese or lettuce either but it was a nice addition. was placed in a box which hid how big the sando actually is. --classic jianbing: crunchy! they make this to order and it was piping hot. they are generous with the sauce and pork floss so it was super flavorful --super lemon tea: good but the food was forsure the standout items the menu screen is a bit small though so I had to take a picture of the menu and zoom in to see. service and owner was really nice as well, I hope they succeed! will come back when I am in the area to try their other egg sandos read more
