Cute accessory store..! More so for girls but boys can enjoy some things as well. My daughter, 11, she enjoys coming here for the squishes.. why? Idk. I guess it's the in thing right now aside from homemade goo, which she also makes A lot of variety of phone cases, bags, hair clips/bands, glittery shiny trinkets, cheap but cutesy jewelry, KPOP items, watches, keychains and all Sorts of things! Located in waimalu area, the shopping center of Safeway/CityMill. When we entered the store, only 1 worker was manning the fort, I'm assuming its the owner. We came in on Wednesday about noon. Anyways, She was talking up a storm with a few ladies and she didn't even acknowledge our presence. The store is clean, very organized, cameras in a few places of the store, and the music playing is KPOP. So I'm assuming this is a Korean owned accessory store, I could be wrong. When we purchase our items, the owner apologized for the loud chatter with the ladies. She went ahead saying they're visiting from CA and they specifically visit her shop for certain things. I smiled at her an said it's ok. She went ahead and gave us tips on maintaining the item we bought. I appreciate that. They offer stamp card too! Neat. I didn't hear what she said about it but I assume it's like any other stamp cards. Fill it and get a %off or $$off next item. I gave it to my daughter since she comes here often with her grandfather. It's a cute store with mini gadgets for all the family. The staff are always so nice, friendly and helpful. They have a stamp card that you can get rewards with. I haven't filled it up yet, when I do I will update yall and let you know. Things I've purchased here: 1. KPOP Socks, note pads (yep, Christmas gifts for my cousin). I really don't know who they are but I've recognized their faces. They actually have a big selection of Korean Pop stars to choose from. 2. IPhone Case, I just recently bought one for my IPhone Plus. It's a cute hello kitty case, it was about $30. They have phone cases for other phones as well and key chains and etc. 3. Watches- my son loves their wrist watches, he has batman and spider man. It's those watches that you slap to your wrist and it conforms to it, not sure what they are called. I should check next time, I think they are around $6. 4. Hair clips/ pins/ headbands - yep they have every accessory you are looking for. They also have Mickey and Minnie Mouse headbands for your next trip to Disneyland. 5. Pens/ Pencils/ Notepads - It's kinda like Sanrio/ Morning Glory. I usually go here with my son right after FaceShop, they are next door. Parking is plentiful so one less thing to worry about but can't say much about your pocketbook. read more

One of my favorite stores! I come in about once a month for the K-Pop stuff and have gotten many CD's/merch! The store always has the newest CD's a few weeks after they're released and typically give free posters along with it. Some of the employees remember my face so that makes me really happy. I enjoy the music they play when certain people are working. Only complaint I have is that they should stock more merch for more groups other than BTS and EXO (even though they're my bias groups). Other than K-pop, they have many cute accessories! Their sister store is N.Cat, located in Windward. There's hair clips, necklaces, chokers, bracelets, earrings, etc. They also have a few shelves of stuffed animals and squishies! My younger cousins love coming into the store for those. I believe they also have a containers of slime. And there's very cheap fidget spinners if you're into that! And many phone acessories such as cases, screen protectors, pop sockets, rings, charms, earphones, etc. And a small selection of anime stuff by the K-Pop section (Naruto, AOT, Pokemon, and a few others). I recently went to the pink box store and had an uncomfortable experience. As I was shopping around being assisted by a nice young girl the older heavy set lady possibly the manager started to yell out loud to the young worker telling her to go give them a basket and go help that other customer in a very demanding voice. I couldn't believe how she was talking to her worker in front of all the customers that were in the store at the time. I felt bad for the young girl especially when she was assisting the customers as best as she could. I've been in the customer service business for many years and that's not how you talk to someone regardless who they are and especially in front of the customers. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I went in looking for clips since I noticed they carry N Cat hair clips. Upon entering the store, the manager starts yelling at customers "hand sanitize" but she choose which customers she wants to yell at. While browsing the store, the manager stands in the way and she clearly sees me but doesn't move. She instead makes me walk in a circle to go where I need to go and by the time I get to the other side that's when she decides to move. In addition, when I went to go pay, there were three people at the counter and no one wanted to do their job and ring me up. They instead stood there looking at me and said "someone will be with you shortly." Literally the worst customer service!!!! read more

i LOVE this store. i always walk in when i shop at Safeway. BUT, today I just HAVE to write a one star review. first and foremost, I held the door open for strangers that walked out and they didn't say thank you, already got annoyed by that. Second, I walked in, and RUDELY got told, "SANITIZE PLEASE" by one of the ladies. I didn't have my glasses on so I obviously didn't see the sanitizer in the front, my fault but I got told rudely to do so. Not the younger girls but the lady who had a teal/navy blue tank top on with short hair, she was a bit bigger and shorter, i have no idea if she was having a bad day today but she was just rude. She is always almost nice to me when I walk in. On top of that, my mom said nobody asked her to sanitize and that she didn't hear anybody tell these ladies to do so after I had walked in. The lady in the teal tank top also said "excuse me" to some customers but not in a very nice tone. i get it, she must have been having a bad day, but guess what? I work in retail too, and no matter how bad I'm feeling, I always just be the bigger person and still use the appropriate tone of voice, etc. i don't think I'll be coming back ever again. Unless the lady IS NOT working, I won't be coming back. The teenage looking girls are always nice but if I ever walk in and see the lady, I will walk out and I will no longer be giving this store my business. i know they'll still benefit because people still shop there but for being a long time customer who loves and is ALWAYS welcomed, it's a shame I won't be going back. i hope that lady was just having a bad day and isn't always rude because again, I understand had she been having a bad day. K-POP fan? This is the place for you. I brought my cousins here to buy merch for BTS. When we arrived here, there was a lot of parking to choose from. The store also wasn't that busy. My cousins were so happy to be in the store, and I was happy that they were having fun. Everything in this store was super cute. It wasn't all about KPOP, they had other accessories that ranges from keychains, jewelry, phone cases, etc. Also, the prices in this store is a bit pricey, as expected. The worker was a older woman and she was a fan of BTS. She was very knowledgeable about sizing of hoodies and shirts. She was very nice about everything, even letting my cousin choose an album from the shelf or the back. Overall, I know I would definitely come back here for Christmas shopping. read more

A fun and affordable little shop, nestled in a busy shopping center close to the mall. They have everything from Alpacas to Anime merch galore. I like to come here when I'm looking for just the right thing to top off my outfit, be it a glittery star hair clip, a head-eating bow, or a hair clip shaped like a pink fish bone, because why not?! I LOVE this place. Being a K-pop fan it's always a little difficult to find things you love here in the islands but Pink Box is AMAZING. The selection for K-pop items isn't as HUGE as Beauty Touch but I'll have to say that it's MUCH more affordable than Beauty Touch. They had a lot of stickers, t-shirts, and overall general merchandise. The Hello Kitty items were a definite plus. Everything in there is just so cute. Not to mention my checkout experience was positive. The man was very polite and comforting to be around unlike some other stores that sell merchandise like this. hello kpop fans this place has so very good bootleg items but DO NOT buy the albums here they are very overpriced and you can get them much cheaper at barnes and nobles, target, and online. First of all, as a Kpop fangirl, THIS PLACE IS FANGIRL HEAVEN !!! They sell Kpop albums, and they get the new albums around the same time they're actually released so that's a HUGE plus. However, if you're in the Kpop fandom you must know a TON of their product is only BTS and EXO. I'm not hating on them, but I just wish they had a slight more variety with groups . The jewelry itself is from Ncat, and it's so cute!! I love a bunch of their necklaces and if I had peirced ears, I would totally buy a bunch of it for myself. If you're also into Anime and cute Japanese stuff, they have that here too! The only downside is that this is in Aiea, and I live in town. I wish they would open another store closer into town, like maybe in Keeamoku, because that's where a lot of Kpop items are, but oh well, I'm just grateful they have a place to buy Kpop goods as well as Anime goods! read more

I frequent to Waimalu shopping plaza and would always pass by Pink Box. I was always curious as to what they had since I saw a ton of Hello Kitty accessories. So curiosity killed the cat. The Ncat that is. So Pink Box has a lot of hair accessories that are originally from a company called NCat (naughty cat). They're from Korea, BUT have branched out recently to places like Japan, Philippines, and OF COUSE Hawaii. Their accessories are KAWAII and decently priced! The two ladies that helped me out were super helpful. They helped me figure some of the headbands and clips that they have. Also if you don't want to shop for accessories there's other items there that you might tempt you. If you like Asian hair accessories, then you should definitely check this place out. Definitely the place to go in HI for Kpop stuff. Our older daughter has purchased over 10 CDs from there the past 2 yrs. The owners who are a couple are very nice and appreciate our business. Great deals all so many things! They've got those infamous squeeshies and fidget spinners for pretty affordable prices. We originally went here for earrings and left with that, some necklaces and two very fashionable back packs for only $15.00 each! Both workers tonight were so helpful and so friendly despite it being 30 minutes to closing. They are always so genuinely nice, it's hard to come by that these days! Tucked away in a corner of the shopping center, I mainly come here to check out a recent obsession of mine, the Ju-Ju-Be x Tokidoki diaper bags and accessories. Because I'm not one to check out trunk show release parties, I noticed this location has several items available even after the event and the prices are at retail price, not overpriced. You also get a stamp for every $10 you spend, I believe and once it's filled, you get $5 off your purchase. It may not seem a lot to others but at least it's something. Small Sanrio-type store with a variety of items including Hello Kitty, Totoro, Angry Birds, and K Pop stuff. I was in the area with my little one and decided to pop in to see what they had. There were stationery items, clothes, lanyards, and toys among other things. The stationery selection wasn't as extensive as I have seen at other stores like Morning Glory. I did find a cute stationery set to use for writing to my penpals and my little one was happy to see stickers from the Disney movie "Frozen". The lady working today was extremely friendly and seemed very eager to help myself and another customer that walked in. Overall, nothing really bad to report but nothing that I got too excited about either. I will rate it 4 stars due to the cashier's positive attitude. read more

BAD!!! I recently got store credit after I realized that I got overcharged on an item. First they refused to refund my credit card and forced me to get store credit. I also noticed that they only gave me 30 days to use the credit or else it will not be honored! Since when can a business do that??? I had the original receipt and it was within a week of the original purchase date. i thought legally we had 2 years to use store credit?? I guess not at this store!!! Then the employee offered me a special, if you buy $35 you will get a free pendant. So I purchased more than $35 of hello kitty products to find out at the register, that I don't qualify because I used my store credit! WTH??? Why promise me something and then don't give it due to a judgment call by the employee after they just made the promise??? I am never going to go back there again!!! Beware possible customers! Another "Cute toy" animation shop seems to have opened up, and its very pink. Its the grand opening week and a hello kitty mascot is hanging out outside. The store is filled up with plushies and assortments of stationaries and little... iconic things such as HK, angry birds and domo. My friend bought a snoopy plushie. Everything is on sale for 20% off, and it seems they have weekly specials with giveaway items. This is certainly a specialty novelty store. The prices match or are slightly competetive to others like sanrio or animation magic. read more
