I use to love coming to Pink and White. Normally the place was busy with customers. It's changed now. 5 staff waiting around and no clients on a Saturday morning . I didn't see Tin. I went it for a spa pedicure with gel polish. The manicurist didn't seem to know how to file a nail evenly and I had to tell her what to do. 2 cheap coats of color and the polish was so bad that within 24 hours one toe's polish was half lifted off. But it is spotless, the girls and guys are amazing, and their prices are reasonable, something tge "old" pink and white was not. In all fairness, they had a higher overhead. I came here last week with a few other girls to get my nails done for my wedding this weekend. My manicurist was the reason why I'm giving this review.. she was absolutely rude, and as a bride to be, I left there feeling embarrassed. I have very short nails, I bite them ( I'm in nursing school, so that doesn't help my anxiety at times.. lol) also, my hands sometime sweat when I get nervous. Which is the main reason why I do not get my nails done. So just coming here was a big deal to me. Right off the bat, the manicurist just seemed so inconvenienced about my medical condition. I could hear her speaking negatively about me to another co-worker. Then she kept huffing and puffing and saying " she can't do this". I felt embarrassed the entire time and just wanted to leave. I almost cried just because she made me feel so horrible. The one person that made my day was my pedicurist. She was amazing and made me feel so nice. She kept complimenting me. We talked about where she came from ( Thailand) and she was just wonderful to be around. I wished I had her as my manicurist. Ps- she is the reason why I added an extra star. I've been to other nail salons and most of the time, they never make a comment about my hands. Instead, they just joke around and still make it light and fun. The manicurist didn't even say " thank you" she just left me sitting there. I will never return there, and will not recommend this place. As a student studying to be a nurse, I would never humiliate anyone like that. Ever. read more

My aunt recommended this place to me. I had a lady named My, she did a really good job prepping my nails. And the paint job was decent. She just didn't fix any of her mistakes. She was not very nice at all, actually pretty rude. She then went to fix my cuticles and cut a huge chunk out of my finger. She just didn't seem to care. She also wouldn't do my nails at the length I wanted. She insisted on doing them much longer than I wanted. I just don't understand why she wouldn't give me what I wanted when I'm paying her to do what I want. And she never even apologized for cutting my cuticle. Overall I'd definitely go back because everyone else was super nice. I'll just request someone else. read more

My grandaughter and I went for manny/pedi when we walked in nobody greeted us even though the entire staff was sitting there, we were taken back to stations and the entire pedicure was spent with them talking in their language, laughter and hateful looks. The guy who did my nails was extremely rough, cut me and my nails looked horrible they almost pointed straight up. I was quoted 80 for both of us and ended up paying 124. I had a 1 pm appt, wasn't seen until 1:30.. I chose the $25 pedicure and left a $5 tip. I checked my bank today and was charged $45!! Owner said it was $45 for shellac. I don't see how there is a $20 up charge for gel color! Won't be going back!! Oh yeah, toenails weren't shaped correctly and are crooked as well. Mike did my nails which are amazing and My did my toes. Both again took their time and the pedicure was amazing! I really suggest coming here if you're looking for a new place. Rude owner! I called to make an appointment today with a wonderful woman who has done my nails to perfection for 10 years at other salons. I mentioned, politely, that this is my 3rd visit in a month only because my nails keep popping off (and it's never happened before). The nice lady who answered the phone insisted I speak with the owner who was so defensive and rude that now I must find another, more professional salon. Van and Lily did an excellent job on my nails. 5 stars for their fantastic service. Wouldn't recommend the spa overall, however. Owner is short with his staff. Receptionist seemed new and not sure of her job. I received my mani-pedi quickly. My sister received a pedicure, then was left sitting in the chair in the back of the shop for almost an hour while I had my nails done. Many people walked past her, no one checked on her. They were surprised when she finally spoke up and asked if anyone would be doing her nails, despite calling ahead and booking 2 mani-pedis. I also noticed when paying that they automatically upgraded us to the second tier pedicure service which is $10 more. I would've probably asked for that service anyway, had I been offered. But it bothered me that I was not asked. read more

Called at 9:15 on Thursday and got in right away for a full set with Mike. Never had a man do my nails before, but first time for everything. ;) He did a solidly good job. The other guy, who I assumed to be the owner was a little pushy on other services. Nice to his regular customers though. Take off acrylic, then full set acrylic was $30 plus a nice tip for Mike. Btw, they have only cheap nail polish on the wall at the front of the shop, but they have OPI on the wall by the waxing room. read more

Went today for a pedicure & am very let down. Had high hopes after a great foot/leg massage (hot stones!) but the polish is horrible. I could do a better job myself. Lots of color on my skin and some clumps on the edges of the nails. Some spots are even bubbling because the color and then top coats were put on too soon. While I was still in the chair one of the other workers came and asked me to pay because she had to close out the register and leave - this was 20 minutes before their posted closing time. I guess they normally accept credit/debit cards but the machine was broken. Luckily I had cash with me. Only $25 for the pedicure but was not worth it based on how bad the polish job was. I initially was very pleased with the service, al thought it felt a little rushed the pedicure was good. Not the best massage or pedicure I have ever had but it was decent. however after leaving and putting my glasses back on I took a look at my pedicure ( I did the pink and white pedicure - $35 ) I was frustrated because they did not remove really any of the cuticles and the nail polish was painted on my cuticles. They did not have me sit at a drying station so instead I sat in the chair for a few minutes and was told by the staff my nails were dry. I drove about 15 minutes home and changed. After I changed I looked down and all of the polish was smudged and basically was sliding around. Since I was on vacation I went out and had to purchase remover and polish to fix it. After taking off the polish you could really tell the shape of the nails were not straight and none of the cuticles were pushed back or really removed at all. So frustrating. For $45 with the tip I would hope to expect a pedicure to last more than an hour. read more

I got an acrylic fill by kevin. He was terrible! and so rough with my hands he made my cuticles bleed twice and had the drill on full blast burning my nails. i've never had such bad service from a nail place before. I asked for coffin shape nails and the shape was totally uneven and then I went to go wash my hands before he painted them and i had dried acrylic that i had to peel off of my skin bc he just slapped the acrylic on. Then he paints my nails white which is what I picked but again slaps on the thickest messiest coat. After it's all applied he made some comment about how they looked bad bc of the color blaming it on that as if it wasn't his fault but the color of the nail polish. yeah ok.. I never leave reviews on things but the service was super disappointing. My cousin also went with me and they overcharged for her service. the prices on the pamphlet didn't match what they actually charged her for and didn't tell her how much her total was at checkout as if they were trying to scam her out of more money without her knowing. they received no tip and are lucky we even paid for our services. read more

This place is clean and friendly. I waited about 20 minutes past my appointment time, but was a last-minute appointment so I really didn't let that bother me. Water in the foot bath was cold and when I mentioned it the owner warmed it up a little, but still wasn't very warm. The young man who did my mani and pedi was extremely friendly and chatted with me the whole time. Pedi was pretty good, although I'm used to having more callous removed from my feet. Polish looked nice and has lasted as I expected. I also got a regular French mani (no gel) which I was less happy with. No lotion, no hand massage, initially forgot the base coat and so had to start over, only one coat of top coat. Looked great day one, started to chip day two, and I had to remove it all by day 4. I may try this place again with an earlier appointment next time- wondering if he wasn't feeling a little rushed. Overall, just a little disappointed in light of the great Yelp reviews. read more
