I drive through this little area literally every day and have never noticed a facial spot here until a friend recommended it. They're open early and close late, and even open on Sundays. My usual facial lady was booked up for the week so I decided to give this place a try. Booked their hydrating/tightening facial with May for $85. She was very thorough and even extracted the tiny bumps that have been stubbornly living on my face rent free. Extractions weren't too painful for how clean my pores looked after. The facial was very massage forward; she worked on my scalp, neck, chest, upper back, arms -- all the way down to my fingers. She has over 20 years of experience and it shows. The price was reasonable for a 1.5-2hr session. My mom complimented my face for how glowy and clean it looked right after and already wants to book a facial for herself!

She did my lashes in less than an hour and the lashes she used, unfortunately, were thick plastic eyelashes that looked so fake. I initially thought that I could deal with it, but as they were falling off, I noticed that a majority of the single eyelash extensions were glued to clumps of my real lashes OR she glued 2-3 extensions to a single real lash. As a result, many of my real lashes were damaged and half of my real lashes fell off. I'm extremely worried about whether they are going to ever grow back. This is what I get for going to a cheap place. Be aware. You get what you pay for. My natural lashes are so thin now. Even with mascara, they do not look as thick as they looked before I tried her eyelash extensions. The only reason I didn't give her one star is because she was nice. She seems like a nice lady but unfortunately I wouldn't go back and I won't be recommending any of my friends either. I should have just gone to a more experienced place or went with Latisse. I was just being cheap and now I lost half of my real eyelashes. read more

I have been coming to ping for over three years. When I look for beauty services I look for several things. One is Conveniency, every time I call ping regardless if it's the day of she always manages to fit me into her busy schedule. Two is price, I don't mind paying a high price for a service that is good but thankfully even though her service is great her prices are still very affordable! Third and lastly is customer service, I always appreciate her greeting me with a smile even when she's swamped with clients. I am so greatful To have found her right from the get go! read more

I've been a loyal customer to ping for the last 2 years despite the other reviews! She's quick and precise and knows how to shape the lashes to my eye shape. I've tried all of her lashes, from synthetic to mink. synthetic don't last as long as mink, and of course you pay for what you get. My synthetic lasts from 2-3 weeks depending how much I take care of them. And the mink lasted me a month! It depends what kind of look you're going for. Dramatic vs natural. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience…read more I showed the technician a reference photo of a set they had done on another client and specifically requested that exact look, including both top and bottom lashes. However, only the top lashes were done, and the final result looked quite different from the reference photo. Initially, I believed the lashes themselves were poor quality because they felt stiff, bent in an unusual way, and caused significant irritation. After posting this review, the owner reached out and explained that it's possible my irritation was caused by the type of glue used rather than the lashes themselves. Regardless of the cause, my eyes were very irritated throughout the experience, and I've never had that reaction after years of getting lash extensions. I also have photos showing how some of the extensions bent in an unusual way. At the end of the appointment, I was only given a single spoolie. Based on other customers' reviews, I expected the aftercare kit that many people received. I also wasn't given any instructions on how to clean or care for my lashes. Unfortunately, the retention was also very poor. In less than a week, all of my lash extensions had fallen off. I've never had that happen before, so I was very surprised and disappointed with the longevity of the application. Before posting this review, I reached out to the salon to share my concerns. They apologized and offered me a small discount to come back so they could add longer lashes and the bottom lashes that were originally requested. While I appreciated the offer, I didn't feel comfortable returning because of the discomfort I experienced and the poor retention. There was also one part of the experience that made me feel uncomfortable. During my appointment, I noticed three people gathered around me and speaking in Mandarin. I am still learning Mandarin, so it's entirely possible I misunderstood or misheard parts of the conversation, and I don't want to make assumptions. However, at the time I felt like they were discussing me, which left me feeling uneasy. After this review was posted, the owner explained that one of the individuals was actually a student being trained, which is why multiple people were involved. I appreciate the clarification, but I do wish I had been informed beforehand that my appointment would be used as part of a training session so I could have decided whether I was comfortable with that. I truly appreciate that the owner and Amy personally reached out after my review, explained that the irritation may have been related to the adhesive, clarified the training situation, and apologized for my experience.

There isn't a parking lot but you can try to find parking on the street in the front of the store or in the neighborhood that's around the corner. It's a safe neighborhood so I wasn't worried about my car. Walking inside, it's one huge room with multiple lashing stations divided by a curtain. It was empty when I was there, just me and the girl who gave me my lash lift and tint. I didn't catch her name, but she was so sweet!! She gave me a run down of the various lashes they offered, I told her that I would eventually come back to get my lashes done and she had great recommendations for what I was interested in. My favorite thing about this place was the lashing bed! It was cushioned with a foam mattress pad, it put me straight to sleep! The process of getting the lash lift and tint went so smooth. I didn't feel any burning, the tech had the softest touch, and I felt really comfortable. I highly recommend trying our Lash Glow if you're interested in getting your lashes done! Looking at their prices too, it didn't seem too pricey.

The YY lashes are my favorite and I've had them done by both Cherry and Scarlet before. Both ladies do an excellent job and they last pretty long. I usually go in for a 2 week refill and sometimes I can stretch it out to 2.5 weeks depending on my social calendar. Highly recommend!

My sister has gotten lash lifts done MULTIPLE times and they have never turned out like this.... the lady also asked if my sister was korean and told my sister to get double eyelid surgery so that when she gets lash lifts it wouldnt lift her eye lid?? The glue is also super clumpy that sometimes I'd get eye irritation. Now my natural lashes are short and have holes from the extension glue ripping them out. The service is always super quick which is nice, but sometimes a fill only takes 15 minutes and half of the lashes would be gone by the 10 day mark. This shows that quality is compromised because of the fast service. When I first came to Ms Kawaii, my lashes would stay full for 4-5 weeks. Now my lashes are almost gone in 10 days. There's also an old lady that works there that was super rude! I wanted a particular style but she pushed for a different style. When I said I didn't want it, she did not seem happy and proceed to do a horrible job! I texted the manager and they gave me a partial refund but I have to pay for removal. Unsure how I feel about this resolution, especially since I always pay $90+ each time I come (before tip!!) Definitely don't come here if you care about your lash health.
