Very rude workers. This worker cursed at neighbors for asking why they were cutting down a tree and yelled at neighbors to move their car when they were moving their car reasonably quickly. read more

Had Pinellas Tree Service remove a tree in the back yard that had been damaged by the hurricane. I have used Pinellas for many years and the service and knowledge has always been top notch. Two hours and the tree was down, debris removed, stump ground and the area raked clean. Excellent service! read more

Tried to schedule a quote since we used them before. After 3 weeks and 3 phone calls they finally let me know they were not interested in our job, even without knowing the extent of the work. read more

My neighbor across the street is using this company to remove a tree from their backyard. Instead of using their yard to finish cutting to limbs before loading into the truck, they crane them across the street to my house and mess up my yard and landscaping with the debris and running their loader all over my grass and landscaping. My wife left work to go home and tell them to get off of our property, their crew was rude and told her to chill out. I'm glad I am not home at this time because it would have ended very differently. read more

Pinellas Tree Service was highly recommended to me and now I know why...the end result was perfect and beautiful. I loved the time and care and precision on my trees and I could not be happier with how they look. The office personnel is very helpful and friendly, promptly returning my calls, and everyone working on my trees was definitely professional and customer friendly - all I can say is THANK YOU Pinellas Tree. They are doing tree work in our neighborhood, which has a narrow road to get through. I'm just trying to get out and go to work and I get yelled at with obscenities to "hurry the F up and go, go, go!! this is F-ing ridiculous!" I personally will make sure I will never use your company to trim any trees at my house! I was trying to be careful going through since they were all standing in the road and to get yelled and screamed at is unacceptable. read more

Pinellas Tree Service cut back a lot of branches, trees that were overhanging my fence, pool and deck. They first sent out an arborist and arrived with the appropriate equipment on time. They were efficient and great to work with. Bill is the owner and Steve was the foreman! Excellent job!!! read more

The Pinellas Tree Crew came out to remove a Magnolia tree from our front yard. The men arrived, went to work and continued to work until the job was properly finished. All of our contact with us (my wife and I) was respectful, courteous and attentive to the questions that we asked. I will highly recommend this crew to any and everyone. They are exactly what a company needs as representation of the company. Bill Brooks read more

Pinellas Tree Service removed an enormous fallen tree limb that had fallen on top of our garage. Their team came and did an incredible job to remove this large branch without causing any other damage to our home. Once down, they removed all debris, cleaned everything, and did an overall great job. I HIGHLY recommend this company. read more

I can only say, to my surprise, that my wife and I were just talking about trimming our massive oak tree in our yard when we decided to shelf the conversation for another day. So I decided to take the dogs out back for a walk in the yard...and heard the blaring sounds of Florida Lumberjacks hard at work next door. My next door neighbor was finally getting their tree trimmed after many years...and these lumberjack's were all over that tree in a matter of moments, just cutting away! In just a short span of time, everything was done and a couple crew members were touching up minor yard debris, so I took this opportunity to ask about trimming MY tree branch. The foreman asked to take a look, walked over and said "no problem." Couple minutes later, the tree branch was down and the rest of the crew all jumped in and all the cleanup was finished. These guys know their business and I would highly recommend them for any job BIG or small. read more

Great quote! Lowest out of 5! Had to wait 2 weeks but worth it! Cleaned up great and even took some yard waste that was lying around without additional charge. read more

Although we live in Tampa, we recently hired Pinellas Tree Service to clean vines, Spanish Moss and dead wood from our Century Oaks, trim fishtail palms that leaned against our structure and to remove a maple whose roots grew too close to our foundation. My husband, who is the champion lopper of all time, was incredibly pleased with their service as were our neighbors, who are presently getting quotes for their own properties. The work crew and their trucks were on time and thorough, removing all debris before leaving - and they were intent to make sure that their work matched our expectations. Their arborist was on site to oversee the work. I will certainly continue to recommend them. SIncerely, MBMcNeil read more

Pinellas just finished a very large job for us and we are very happy with the results. The crew was excellent - punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. The yard was left completely free of even a branch on the ground and the price was very fair. I highly recommend. read more

Secretary was absolutely the most rude person ever. They have hundreds of tree stumps outside their shop, and I went in to ask if I could buy one. Instead of her asking questions to get a sale, she laughed at me. Then she proceded to arrogantly tell me how heavy they are as if I thought they were weightless. Apparently, she's never experienced someone paying for an item, then returning with a truck and a man to pick it up. She must have thought my 120 pound body was going to throw it in my ruck sack, hop on my unicorn, and fly away. Then, after I told her her customer service was terrible, and I'll go somewhere else, she then wanted to flip script. If I could give this company fewer stars I would. I'll never go back!!! read more

We have used Pinellas Tree Service on two previous occasions. The first to trim a large Queen Palm and the second to remove a large ailing Slash Pine. Both job were handled professionally and at a reasonable cost. When the time came to again trim the palm we called Pinellas Tree. A friendly secretary took the information, thanked us for calling them and said their arborist would contact us promptly which he did. After evaluating the tree we were informed the tree was diseased with Ganoderma, root rod, and should be removed before it fell. We agreed and accepted the proposal to cut down and remove the tree then grind the stump. Saturday night the area suffered a severe storm, high winds and torrential rain. These conditions caused the tree to fall missing everything but the ground. The downed tree unfortunately blocked our driveway and part of the neighborhood street. We were able to cut the tree into manageable pieces, unblock the street and driveway. We emailed Pinellas Tree Service who immediately responded, This morning they arrived at 7:45pm and removed the debris. for a very nominal and reasonable charge. We feel comfortable recommending this company. read more

I have done business with these guys for years. Spent more than $5,000 having a stand of Australian Pines gradually removed. So here's a story: Irma pushes trees down onto homeowner's roof and pool cage. Homeowner calls tree service that he's done business with for years. Tree service sends estimator, whose quote is accepted. Tree service sends crane and workers. Trees are too far to reach. Crane and workers go away. Homeowner calls tree service to see what happens next. Tree service says no deal. Sorry. Good-bye. Clearly, times have changed. Do business with these people at your peril. read more

I called Pinellas Tree Service, on short notice, about helping out with two large trees in our backyard. We were needing the work done quickly as we had a large party scheduled at our house in a few days. They responded quickly and professionally, providing excellent service just as they had promised. They were even very careful not to do any damage to our lawn. We couldn't be any happier with the work they did and would recommend them whole-heartedly. read more

I have used Pinellas Tree Service several times over the years in several different homes I have lived in Pinellas County. I live in Palm Harbor now and have had them trim my enormous laurel oak twice. The most recent was July 23 2018. As usual they did a great job. They are very professional and have the right equipment and manpower to do the job correctly and safely. I have complete faith in them and know my tree(s) are in good hands. read more

A few months ago we called Pinellas Tree Service to get a quote on trimming three large Laurel Oak trees in our back yard. Scheduling an assessment was quick and simple. One of the co-owners came out to our home and gave us a fair quote. Today was our scheduled service and the workmen showed up right on time. Everyone was very professional and our trees look amazing. They did a great job of cleaning up as well. Both the co-owner and the head workman educated us about our trees and how to care for them as well. We've had a great experience with Pinellas Tree Service and would recommend them. read more

Pinellas Tree Service did a fantastic job of removing a large diseased oak in the back of our Tampa home where large equipment could not reach. The team was professional, highly experienced and managed to disassemble the tree by hand without any damage to the adjacent vinyl fence (6 feet away) or pool enclosure (10 feet away). Impressive. The customer service was equally excellent and the price was competitive with other bids we received. We will certainly use them again in the future. read more
