They seem to standardize care for all babies/newborns without taking into account that every kid/newborn is different. We kept getting bad advice and recommendations (verified by other doctors and specialists after the fact) multiple times. This is after the doctor being over an hour late to their own appointments multiple times as well. read more

I called this practice after hearing great things about the doctors, but they won't take my child just due to the fact that she is not a newborn. I was not even asked how old my child is or what is making me change pediatricians. It was a bold NO. When I asked if they would have any openings for new patients, I was told basically... NO that they have been like that for years and there is a waitlist since 2017. read more

When I was pregnant and looking for a pediatrician this practice came highly recommended to me. I called to find out if my insurance was accepted and how/when to make our first appointment. I liked the way i was treated on the phone. I also liked that it's near my house, a small practice, opens at 8:30 am and is open on Saturday's if you call ahead. For all my well baby visits I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes from the time I arrived. The times that my son has needed to go in to be checked on the same day, because he was sick neither my husband nor I have had to wait longer than one hour. Today I waited 40 minutes and had no appt! I just called right when they opened and I was told come around this time. Amazing! I hear so many people complain about wait times over an hour long and I have yet to experience that at this practice. I hope it stays like that. I was even over an hour late one time to our one month appointment and I called to apologize and reschedule and they told me to still come in, because the doctor was okay with it! Obviously it isn't something I do all the time, but it meant a lot to me that they were willing to do that. read more

Dr. Escobio and her partner are super nice and thorough with their patients and treatments! My youngest had Dr. Escobio since day one out of the womb. She listens to ALL of your concerns and is great with my girls who ranges in age. The office staff is nice along with the office itself. If you ever need to speak to the doctor directly she returns your call within 24 hours unless it's the weekend or she's on vacation. Appointments is specifically ran by your time so there's no sitting and waiting 30-1 hr once sat in the back like other offices. I believe the longest I've waited once was 30mins but due to not having that experience before and nice treatment it didn't bother. Dr. Escobio does not ever seems in a rush and truly take her time. She is great with teens as well and very encouraging to them. I'd recommend her for your little one or teen! read more

I almost do not want to write this review because I want to keep this group a secret. I found Dr. Taboas when I was pregnant with my first and she put me at ease right away. I even followed her from her old practice when she moved, even though it is farther from where I live. Dr. Taboas is my children's primary but I have seen everyone in the office and they are all great. Wait times are decent, on normal days i have only had to wait around 10-15 mins to be seen. On busy days, like right before school starts, I have had to wait 40 mins, but honestly I don't mind because i love this office. read more

Wish I could give Pinecrest Pediatrics more stars! My 9 y/o daughter has been a patient with "another" group since she was born. In the last 2-3 years that group has lost it's connection with its patients and I was already fed up with them and how corporate they have become. My co-worker referred me to Dr. Taboas-Mestre and I couldn't be happier! She spent a significant time with us and never seemed like she was in a hurry. She was extremely friendly and easy to speak to. My daughter was very comfortable with her and on the way home told me how much she loved her new doctor. read more

I've got nothing but positive things to say about both Dr. Escobio and Dr. Taboas and their medical assistants. They both cared for my son during his first year, since then we have moved to another city and unfortunately have not found any pediatricians as good as these ladies. They are excellent at patient care and took their time with each and every follow up visit and answered all questions my husband and I would have about our growing son. Awful! I switched my child on her insurance to this office when her pediatrician retired. She had medical issues and needed to be seen, and they said she could be waitlisted to be potentially seen three months later. This was after trying to call them all day with no answer, not realizing the only way to get in touch with them is to leave a voicemail and get called back. read more

Dr Taboas has been seeing my son for many years. He is now 18 and about to "graduate " out of a pediatric office. Dr. Taboas has not only given my son the best medical care, she has been a life coach always giving him great life lessons and praise. My son has chosen to continue under her care until he turns 21 despite the Mickey Mouse cartoons in the waiting area :) his experience growing up with her, surely will give him no hesitation to go to the doctor as an adult. Dr. Escobio is competent, compassionate and wonderful to work with. Shes been both my daughters' pediatrician since birth and I wouldnt trust their care to anyone else other than her partner. I am always impressed with their level of care and the time they take to not only listen to their patients and parents, but to develop relationships as well. My oldest daughter only likes to go to the doctors if its Dr. E. On a more serious note, she was born premature and has had medical issues her whole life. Dr. Escobio has managed her care effortlessly, always providing me with the information I need or referring me to the proper specialists to see. And most importantly, shes always made my girls feel comfortable and safe. read more
