I've truly never had a terrible experience at this establishment until today. My doctor, Dr. Jimenez, was quite possibly the rudest "professional" I've ever met in my life. As a doctor, she needs to get it into her head that 1. You are not in any place to comment on any ones family dynamics 2. You are not to mock any patient of yours 3. You are not to violate patient privacy and 4. You as a doctor will never tell me I'm wrong for not wanting you to violate my privacy and when I say no you will take that as an answer and not spin the situation into making it look like that is wrong. Dr. Jimenez clearly has many life lessons she needs to learn and for that I would advise everyone to request any doctor besides her. Horrid experience. read more

I truly regret bringing my child here for several years. After so many cold and rushed encounters with all of their doctors, we finally made the decision to switch pediatricians and we couldn't be happier. This office is unfortunately a factory and they treat kids like they're just a number. There is barely any bedside manner here from any of the nurses or doctors - everyone is always rushing and it just feels like they want to get you in and out. There were several times where one of their doctors simply got up and started walking away when I wasn't done asking my questions. One time one of the doctors answered our question basically outside of the room in the hallway already because he was so eager to move on. The receptionists are rude to say the least and when I would call needing to ask the doctor something they would answer the question right away without consulting the doctor or a nurse which always made me uneasy because I needed medical advice from a doctor or a nurse, not a receptionist. After making the decision to leave I was reassured that I was making the right choice when the new office I moved to advised me that Pediatric Professional Associates hadn't even logged all of my child's vaccines with Florida SHOTS online which is supposed to be mandatory so that there is an electronic record of the child's vaccines, not just a paper trail. There were vaccines that PPA administered in 2020 (two years ago!) that they hadn't logged in Florida SHOTS. This is unacceptable. When I called PPA and asked them about it the lady I spoke to was extremely defensive and denied it, but I saw the printout myself from Florida SHOTS and there were numerous vaccines from 2020 that were not logged. This just goes to show how careless PPA is. If you're looking for a pediatrician for your child I would advise you to keep looking. read more

Sad to say this place has gotten worse with years . I visited the office today, my appointment was at 3 and I I was in a room for 1 hour without anyone coming to see us . The NP is great, but my bad review is because the office staff is rude and careless . When i went up to the receptionist (her name is Jazmin )to let her know what was going on and that I had been waiting for 1 hour , she was on her phone texting and unapologetic told me you can re-schedule, when I told her , it was very bad for me to take time off from work, she turned around, looked away and said " OK THEN, BYE". read more

My two sons have now outgrown the pediatrician and my youngest just stopped going this past year. Bittersweet milestone. But I hope one day my grandkids become patients of Dr. Lisa Miller. LORD, I LOVE THIS DOCTOR. She is amazingly sweet and takes her time during the visit. She's not an alarmist, and never missed the mark with her assessments. I also never once felt rushed. I got to see every doctor at some point during my 23 years as a parent there, and I can't complain. Some are more personable than others, but all good in the end. Dr. Jimenez Rivero is great! I spoke to several Drs in other places before selecting Pediatric Professional Associates and none of them made me feel comfortable as Dr.Jimenez. Since my daughter was born, we ran through some obstacles in regards to her health but Dr.Jimenez always explains thoroughly and makes us feel better. She is very attentive and sweet. Her spunky attitude is amazing! We always have a million questions as first time parents and she answers them all with patience. Dr. Jimenez is the best! Totally recommend. read more

This may be the most neglected doctors office I have ever been to. There is minimal parking and from the moment you walk in you will feel like you have been to a third world country. They must have been short on staff too because a child came and measured my childrens height and weight. I may have been able to overlook the run-down appearance of the office and questionable age of the staff if the doctor would have been gracious and skillful. Do yourself and your children a favor and stay away from this doctors office. Dr Patricia Jimenez Rivero is very aggresive if you decline her office requirement that 100% of children must be 100% fully vaccinated. Your child is just a number to Dr Jimenez Rivero and she does not care about your child's health nor does she believe that you should be allowed to make your own medical decisions concerning you and your family. She also charged my insurance for an annual visit even though my children never completed the visit because we walked out after she was so unbelievably aggressive. Let me start by saying I do like this place. I really like our doctor, Dr Kuhn is awesome! What I don't like is the parking, not enough. When you first come in and register your child you are usually brought back to a procedure room relatively quick (+/- 10-15 minutes) so that's not to bad. The issue is when you get into the procedure room that's were you probably wait anywhere from 30-45 minutes (not good). So bring stuff to entertain your child. The dept who handles the insurance paperwork needs to be a little more organized. They always ask me for the same thing I provided in the last visit. Overall I love our doctor so I will continue to use them. read more

I had a great experience meeting Dr. Lederhandler and the office. The office has completely separate sick and well waiting rooms for your little one. This is important, as others have claimed to have separate rooms when in fact, they don't. Dr. Lederhandler took the time to answer all my questions and make me feel at ease. The Dr.s have hours in the weekends birth days, Saturday & Sunday (heavenly when you're expecting and having a newborn). She has over 20 years of experience! Needless to say, I've interviewed quite a few Dr.s and visited quite a few offices and this is my #1 choice. That's my take on it! read more

Lot of people recommended me to Pediatrics Professional and I ended up going with them. At first the experience was okay, our pediatrician was really peppy and nice, but I always felt I had to come in with a list of things to ask but felt rushed throughout the consult. At about 3 months, my son started with ear infections, Dr Myers, at first said it wasn't a big deal after I advised the baby was crying at night and there were no other symptoms and another time another doctor kept on chuckling throughout the whole consult, while the baby was crying and I was frustrated with the whole situation. He didnt even tell me that I had to come back after 2 weeks for a follow up. I ended up changing him at 3 months to Westchester Pediatrics and we haven't looked back. The hours alone is a game changer. They're last appointment is at 5pm, but if you need to bring the child in they will accommodate. They also have all day weekend hours. They are in their late 40s peppy and very informative. With Prof Peds I had to go in with a list of questions because i felt rushed and they wouldn't cover everything. With Dr. Montiel, I literately record her from the moment she steps into the consult. Nik has a crush on her and she provides me with detailed information about where he is at, what I should expect. She covers all points. My husband loves how she is so informative. Especially for us first timers. loved her. I know not everyone gets the same experience, but I wish I would have picked Westchester Pediatrics from the start. read more

Hate taking my son to the pediatrician but, when necessary, I stick to Dr. Myers, Dr. Kuhn, or Dr. Liederhandler. Dr. Myers is our primary but the three of them have seen my child in numerous occasions and I have always been very satisfied with their very thorough checkups and explanations. Dr. Myers is fantastic! She is very easy to talk to. She remembers her patients and always tries to make the visits as quick and painless as possible, without compromising the time needed to really listen to the parent's concerns. She always calls you back herself, which is not common practice. Dr. Kuhn is a funny gal. She's even danced for my son to make him stop crying. Dr. Liederhandler is very knowledgeable and tells you things how they are, plain and simple. Not as loving as the other two, but still great. I gave it 4 stars because there is one doctor that was not very nice to us in one occasion. The staff is dry and not too friendly, and the wait time sometimes exceeds the amount of time a child can stand. They are open Saturdays and Sundays half a day for emergency appointments only, which is great! However, their weekday hours are not very convenient since their last appt is at 4:30pm. read more

My daughter cried seriously who examed by Dr Finer. I am very upset for Dr Finer' exam method. First, he was very rude to see my daughter' perineum. Wow you are choosing a pediatrician for your little bundle of joy hu? This could be an extremely hard task to do. We are putting the health of the most important person in our lives in the hands of a stranger and hope they will guide us the right way with our munchkins health. Once the reality of baby in the belly sunk in the brain, and the baby shower list was done (of course) I embarked in the task of finding the right pediatrician. Originally we started with Dr Ginsburg and now I am very happy to announce we have chosen Dr Simovitch for both our kids. Here are some of the things I like about this place: 1-Dr Simovitch !!!! Always,always,always washes his hands before and after and that is a biggie for me. I can't begin to tell you how many healthcare professionals forget to do this. Also takes his time I have never felt rushed in any appointments . Very knowledgeable and really listens to my concerns, I guess there is a reason why he was voted best doctor! 2-they open Monday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to12:00 pm. 3- there is 8 doctors working at this facility so if your child needs to be seen and your primary doc is not working there is always a doc that can evaluate the sicky poo 4-making appointments is as easy as 1 2 3, you call give the name of the pt and the pediatrician and u got your self a date ! 5- got siblings? no need to worry 2 for 1 appointment is here . Yes you can schedule brother(s) and sister(s) on the same day and time 6- the waiting time is not bad at all, I think the most I have waited is 20 mts 7-there are several waiting rooms : one for newborns to 2 yrs,one for 3 to older kids, and one for sicky poos so the cooties will be contained in one room. 8- you may use credit card for your co-payments Now for the bad news: 1-the on call Service: if u need to speak with someone after hours a nurse from Miami children's hospital calls you back not a physician. Yes 95 % of the times nurses are more with it than the docs(I am a nurse myself lol)but the doc that sees your child on regular basis knows him/her and not the nurse at children's 2-the staff (other than the doctors) could be a little bit warmer and not so dry 3-parking can get a little hectic , even with the extra parking lot in the back. My advice is arrive early in case there is no parking. 4-there is only one doctor that shall remain nameless that we have had the pleasure to be scheduled with(sarcastic voice) that totally overlooks your concerns and makes your appointment a total waste of time. Being a registered nurse when my kids are sick I don't run to the pediatritian with the first symptom. Once I go to the doc it's because I ran out of resources and treatments. With this nameless doc I felt like if she was doing me a favor and the only reason I was scheduled with her was because my doc wasn't there that day and obviously I was new to the place and had not gotten to know the doctors I hope this review helps you and makes your start of mother/father hood a little easier. I chose this office due to stellar recommendations from fellow mommies. There is a lab and X-ray on site which is convenient since no one wants to haul a baby around town for extra appointments when thinking they are ill or hurt. Dr Lisa Miller is our main pedi and we love her. She is pleasant, professional, warm and patient with my multitude of first time mommy questions. We have also seen Dr's Myers, Lederhandler (love her! Knowledgable, no BS kinda lady but very cool and friendly), Kuhn, and Kasovitz. Their office is clean and well organized. The nurses/medical assistants are (mostly) nice and easy to deal with. Some of the staff have consistently nasty attitudes and should really be working somewhere else, like at a correctional facility. Parking kinda sucks, especially when you're hauling a 15 lb butterball in a car seat. read more

I've been happy with all of the doctors at this practice. I regularly see Dr. Kuhn and she is wonderful. I've seen several of the other doctors throughout the 3 years I have been taking my children there, and they have all been great. The biggest problem is the wait time which can be long sometimes. The other challenge is that the rooms and bathrooms are very small so it is a challenge going with both my young children. You can't really bring a stroller, and I usually can't use the bathroom when i am alone with both kids. Parking can also be a challenge. read more

My coworker referred me to this office and I am very glad he did. I have seen several doctors in the group and they are all great with a vast amount of experience. The staff and nurses are also very courteous and answer my every questions. I like that they have a separate room for infants and older kids and for sick kids and kids that are not sick. I also like they are open Saturdays and can see sick children on Sundays if needed as working parents this comes in very handy for our needs. Also when you call the assistants are very knowledgeable and can answer your every question and if it is a question for the doctor they will obtain a response within same day even with hours of your call. read more

Love the doctors, especially Dr. Ginsburg and Dr. Kuhn. However, the front desk staff can be very rude. On multiple occasions, I've been placed on hold without notice. How hard is it to say "hold please"? Upon finishing my most recent call, I said "okay great, thanks so much" even though the woman had been very short the entire call. No "you're welcome", no "have a nice day", not even "goodbye". She just clicked. I know it seems nit-picky, but having manners and proper telephone etiquette shouldn't be so difficult. If you're having a bad day, get a diary. Don't take it out on people who are politely calling your office. Again, can't say enough good things about the doctors my children have seen there over the years. But the front desk could use a little etiquette 101. read more

Had the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor here today--Dr. Judith Lederhandler. My husband and I recently moved to Miami and had been to this practice a couple times and generally had okay experiences with various doctors. We had a well child visit today for our 18 month old son and 3 year old daughter. I've organized our experience into four categories: 1. Condescension Dr. Lederhandler is amazingly arrogant and condescending. Seemed to be looking for something to lecture us about from the start and wasn't interested in listening to the patient before forming an opinion. Cut me off multiple times when I said something while she was talking to my 3 year old (who was obviously a little flummoxed) -- "mom, I'm talking to the child, I don't really care if what she's saying is accurate or not." Then told us she seemed to have some speech issues because she used "uh" a couple times before she spoke -- after talking to her for all of 10 seconds. Was immediately very dismissive when we mentioned we were considering home schooling -- um, not a medical issue, didn't ask your opinion, and you know nothing about our situation. 2. Lack of Preparation Clearly hadn't even looked at our records before she walked in the door and kept having to look at her file throughout the appointment. Re-hashed things that we talked about in previous appointments that she would have known if she'd prepared. 3. Misinformation Saw my daughter drinking Gatorade and had a very hostile reaction -- said that it was "horrible" and caused kidney damage. I mean honestly, you'd have thought the kid lit up a cigarette. After being pressed for details as to the how and why she told us that actually it doesn't cause kidney damage but it's not good for kids to drink anything but water and milk (duh, I'm not an idiot -- but I'm sorry, all things in moderation and the kid doesn't drink enough water -- which we essentially told her but she would not accept.) The appointment went down hill from there when she wouldn't let the issue go. (She really didn't like being challenged or having to admit that she had initially overstated her case). I finally told her that I was uncomfortable with her and wanted to continue the appointment (including vaccines that were needed) with another doctor (there are 7 other doctors in the practice). 4. Failure to Treat the Patient in Front of Her After I asked to finish the visit with someone else (I was primarily interested in getting my child's scheduled vaccine), she returned with her office manager and told us that her practice would not treat my children, nor would they provide the necessary vaccines. Unbelievably unprofessional and frankly borderline unethical to not provide medical care to a child because we asked to see another doctor. read more

My daughter has been a patient since she was born. She's 3 now. The girls that work the front/answering the phone have attitude problems. I called inquiring about possibly having a prescription called in. The girl I spoke to told me that I needed to have my pharmacy number ready whenever I call. However my call was to ASK IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. Which she told me anyways she has to check with the doctor therefore it didn't even make sense she wanted me to call with the pharmacy number at that time. Whenever I have called I'm left on hold for 5 minutes or more. Today was the final strike and I have decided to switch doctors because apparently they didn't feel the need to prescribe my daughter anything for her constipation issues. Clearly the over the counter meds were not working as it had been 5 days and she had not used the restroom. Very disappointed. read more

This practice came with rave reviews. The medical staff is great, but those women that sit behind the glass up front are some of the rudest, most inconsiderate excuses for office staff that I have ever encountered. Our start with this office was rocky, but things smoothed out a bit as we became regulars there. Now the honeymoon phase is starting to wear off, and Im having to re-consider. Word of advice, do NOT be deceived by what their website says about walk-ins. Sometimes people with appointments, wait, and wait and wait, without regard to the child's reason for being there. Take one of my first times being there for example. After making an appointment, and arriving early with my son, who was wheezing and sick, we waited and waited before being seen. I inquired if someone could at least check his vitals, while we were waiting because he seemed to be in distress. The lady behind the glass told me that if I thought it was an emergency, the best thing for me to do was to just take him to the Emergency Room. She had the gaul to tell me that to my face, as I was holding my sick and wheezing son. I guess they though I didn't know what I was talking about and maybe was just an over-zealous mother. But it turned out that my son was indeed wheezing and needed a breathing treatment even before we left the office. I like Dr. Kuhn, but even now as Im typing this, Im getting angry all over again. So please believe, if you child is in urgent need to be seen; don't even bother to make an appointment to be seen thinking they will squeeze you in on an urgent basis. It does not happen. Do like they told me and just take your child to the ER. The after-hours service sometimes does not answer the phone late at night. Im loosing my patience with this place. It was hard enough finding a good pediatrician, but um...I'm about fed up. read more

Drs are great but staff and nurses make this place unbearable. My daughter has had her share of medical issues and we have always felt the knowledge and care of the Drs to be the best. However, we will be switching pediatricians because of the lack of empathy of both the nurses and front desk staff. There has to be a pediatrician office that actually likes kids. read more

This is a wonderful practice. I completely trust Dr. Ginsberg with my little angel. He is intelligent, answers all of my questions (no matter how neurotic) and is never alarmist. There are also separate entrances for sick and well children under 2 years of age, to protect babies and children when their immune systems are the most susceptible to infections. read more

My children have been seeing Dr. Judy Lederhandler for 18 years plus. She is an amazing physician, really in tune with her patients, could not have been happier. The front staff and nurses are also amazing. Any questions always answered quickly and courteously by Hilda who seriously has become my "medical go to friend". As we came to the closing of 2016, and the commencement of the new year many of us reflect on the blessings we have received during the past year. Almost 13 years ago as a first time mom with a preemie baby, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of his Assistant Hilda and staff and the pleasant environment of the office itself. Dr. Simovitch inspires the utmost confidence by his smile which is so wide that it seems apt to describe it as extending "from sea to shining sea" and by his wealth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism.
