Where do I even begin? It's extremely difficult to call and schedule appointments. They keep sending me invoices for appointments that they canceled. On top of that, I've received surprise bills after doctor visits. I've called and emailed them multiple times about the incorrect invoices, and even after they say, "Don't worry, we'll take care of it," I still keep receiving the same bills. read more

This place went from amazing to horrible in a year span. recently they hired a new manager, nurses &front desk staff that is running this office to the ground. I'm not sure where Dr. Eisenberg found the new manager but even a blind man can see she's unfit, unprofessional & doesn't know what she's doing. I came for an injection and blood work ended up leaving with a needle cut , double dose of the same injection in the wrong time frame & child being traumatized of this place after what was supposed to be blood work the nurse left the rubber band on while taking out the needle & blood was pouring everywhere. This office is a red flag. I couldn't imagine having a sick child and trying to call this office to get an appointment. When you're looking for a pediatrician and interviewing your pediatrician before you give birth, you're not just there to talk to the doctor and figure out if you like the doctor you're also there to figure out if you like the office and the staff. It has been a nightmare, trying to deal with this office, and I never even got to meet the doctor even though I had an appointment schedule. When I originally made the appointment and spoke to someone, they told me that I would receive an email with a virtual link to meet with the doctor for my first telehealth appointment a day before the appointment I got a missed call from the office to confirm my appointment and tried to call them back three times today and three times yesterday each time somebody quickly picked up the phone and said please hold and then put me on holo for 5 to 8 minutes and would send my call to voicemail but I never actually got an option to leave a voicemail. I got a text message to confirm my appointment and I replied back yes. And then I got a link to set up an account on their platform, but when I tried to create an account, it told me that I cannot create an account and I had to call the office because I was not a registered patient. then an hour before my appointment was scheduled a nurse from the office called me and said do you still want your appointment today? Are you coming and I said my appointment is virtual. I was actually trying to call your office for the last two days because I do not have a link for my appointment and she said well the doctor is ready right now are you and I said no I'm working right now. I don't have time to do a virtual appointment right now my scheduled appointment is in one hour and she said OK then I'm gonna cancel you and she hung up on me and canceled my appointment. I heard good things about the doctors here, but I guess I'll never know . And I hope that the doctors realize that their staff needs to be trained better and they're losing business because their staff is not giving quality service. read more

I called the office yesterday because I was looking for information on old immunization records, and was curious to know if they had bought my old pediatrcian's practice (he had been in the same building as my pediatrician). I also tried to ask about Florida's record-keeping processes since 1964, when both of the "ladies" just hung up on me. Rude to the last. I told them I haven't even been in in 3 plus years and never heard anything...so thinking maybe I possibly made a mistake (which I didn't) I paid to clear the balance. This was about a month ago. Dr.Perlman was recommended to me by my obstetrician during pregnancy and we are so happy we have chosen her to be the doctor for our baby boy. Doctor Perlman is amazing,she has such a great attitude and is always smiling. She really takes time to examine the kid completely and offers the best solution for any issue. She also answers emails very fast. Very knowledgeable and professional. Also I really like and appreciate that they don't push the vaccines and give the choice to the parents. The doctors are wonderful but I am concerned that the front desk receptionist never wears a mask especially since she's dealing with babies and this is the height of the covid spread! Also it's very hard to get through on the phones and the staff often hangs up after you've been waiting for a long time before you even speak to someone. I was recommended by my midwife to take my son to Dr. Eisenberg and I'm very happy with his care. We are not planning on vaccinating him and the doctor is very respectful of our choice which I love. My son was sick and he recommended a natural holistic approach rather than prescribe antibiotics/medicine. He got better in about 5 days naturally and we are very happy about it. He has seen him since he was born and we plan to keep using him for our second child as well. The only downside is the front desk. They are not very nice and there's a very long wait every time you call , their management could use a refresher on hospitality. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because the office is not particularly up to date and state of the art as stated. They do offer a portal to parents and patients which is pretty cool and interactive I'll give them that. The portal let's you see what the doctor did that visit and what they wrote. Also you can send the doctor messages through the portal and interact with them. Ok so back to the office It's kind of dirty to be honest. The beds are dirty the walls are dirty the designs on the room walls are falling apart. It needs a little love and a coat of paint ASAP. Ohh and you have to pay for parking if you find any. Anyways I came to this office after being denied by my child's other doctors offices for wanting to delay my child's vaccinations. Let me tell you that I was skeptical about the whole thing. It's an older building kind of sketchy to be real. I was recommended by a family member that is also very awake when it comes to the for profit pharmaceutical industry. The doctor that was recommended to me was Dr. Varisa Perlman. Let me just say WOW it's so refreshing to actually have a doctor the listens , asks questions, interacts with the patient, gives feedback, and genuinely cares. Overall doctor Perlman definitely made me feel a lot better about my child's health care and about the practice. It's not an easy drive from West Kendall to the beach but it was definitely worth it. I am very happy with our pediatrician Dr. Perlman. I can email her any day of the week and at anytime and she always returns my emails the same day. The office is open on weekends and they are open two days a week until 8pm. If my child is sick, I can get him in the same day. This is the type of flexibility you need with a pediatrician. Dr. E is also great. You can tell these two pediatricians care about their patients. I also love their holistic approach. They are not quick to shove antibiotics or whatever other medicine on my child. They always try the natural route first, and it always gets the job done. They even gave me ginger-tussin when I was sick, because I am nursing and did not want to take any medicine, and it worked. Horrible first time experience, we visited for the went the pre natal interview and it seemed like a great pediatrician base on the introductions. Baby was just born and we called with ample time to schedule (1 day after birth) and they had 0 appointments for the next 6 days. Babies need to see a doctor with in 48 hours after discharged from the hospital. I am giving them a 1 star because after being on the phone for 1.5 hour on hold and bounced through 3 different operators I come to find that their next available appointment for a new born for 6 days out. It's unacceptable, mind you this is my first time interfacing with them as a patient. Save yourself a world of pain, go to someone more responsive to patients. read more

She is totally worth the trip from West Kendall! She has infinite patience, even with our rambunctious crew; she always begins with natural remedies, though she has the license to prescribe something stronger when needed. Our family loves Miami Beach Pediatrics! Both Drs. Perlman and Eisenberg are fabulous, well informed, attentive and responsive. What I love most about this practice though is how open they are to a holistic approach, or as they, integrative. Our daughter is three years old and has had regular, healthy checkups by both doctors. She has never been on a course of antibiotics. Never. As we learn more and more about the microbiome, I can't tell you how grateful I am that she has never had her bloom wiped out. They've also prescribed prebiotics, like sauerkraut and yogurt, for example. We are pro vaccine and she has had all her vaccines but we spaced them out over longer periods.
