This really isn't a convenience store, it's really a liquor store…read more I came in for a few bags of chips, since Price Rite didn't have anything good, and left with nothing. Really just a small, little shack, sitting at a busy intersection of Rt 27 and Prospect Street in Stoughton. Gone are the days when Subway used to be here (that Subway was better than any of the existing locations.....). Years ago I used to stop often at this place, for the Subway. It's changed since then and not for the better. Lighting is way too bright and not ideal for what should be a relaxing store. It would also be nice if they played music. Not blaring, but right now, you can hear a pin drop in there! Variety on the food side is slim, as they don't have much of a variety of anything, and tend to just be looking for customers purchasing beer and wine. While the guy at the counter seemed friendly, I couldn't understand him. I left went somewhere else. If you're looking for beer or wine, this is the place. It says convenience on the sign, but false advertising isn't uncommon these days. They do have Lottery, and a huge donation bin in the parking lot. I'll be going somewhere else from now on. This place does nothing from me. Boy, has it changed. 2 stars for the "New Store on the Block".

First, it was hard to find among all the liquor and beer & wine. Found it, & the first one was dated April 9th. Today is the 11th. Ok. I find one dated 4/22. Ok. No price posted. Ok. I couldn't understand the guy at the counter when he said how much it was. I gave him a five & I got back 21 cents. I looked at the change in my hand, looked at him and told him that's way too much to charge for milk. No response. I expect to pay more at a convenience store but $4.79/gal?! I could have walked out without it, but he already had my $. Save your $ on convenience items, go to Cumby's which is what I should have done in the first place but I thought I'd give a local store my business. Silly me.

At least once a week (I go to this establishment usually 3 days a week), box trucks take over the parking lot. The station should have dedicated pumps AWAY from the station entrance off 138 for box trucks (so the pumps on the Central Street side). When truck drivers use the pumps close to the 138 entrance, they pull so far forward they end up blocking the entrance. I had to wait on 138 today because a box truck was blocking the entrance with his truck while pumping gas, so no one could get by. There has to be a better solution, whether it be dedicated spaces, clearer signage, etc.
