This is the most popular park in Parkland. It is where all of the city's youth leagues practice for baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and football. There are five multi purpose fields, one synthetic turf field. four T-ball fields, soccer field, and basketball and tennis courts. There is a large playground and Life Trail fitness equipment but both are currently closed because of Covid. My favorite part of the park is the fishing pier where you can watch the local bird wildlife on the wetlands and the walking trails throughout the park. The park has an amphitheatre that hosts monthly concert series and other special events throughout the year. Other park amenities include barbecue grills, concessions, meeting rooms, and restrooms. My last visit to the park was after the Marjory Douglas Stoneman school shooting. The school is located very close to the park and the after the tragedy the stage held angels representing the victims and the field was filled with crosses and memorials. The park was also where everyone marched to from the school during the March for Our Lives rally. My memories of that sad event are tied to this park. I am sure a lot of the kids killed that day grew up playing on the city's youth league in this park. I can't help but think of the lives lost on that day when I come here and I always will.

Nice park... great location and plenty of activities for the young kids. Adults have also lots of ground space for exercising, jogging, etc. Soccer fields are nicely maintained and have great sitting areas.

Located in Parkland off Park Trail is an awesome playground. What a great park for all ages. The ground has soft padding for safety. They even have insect repellent available if necessary. The equipment has sun protectors overhead. Public restrooms are nearby. Lots of various equipment is available for all sizes to enjoy.

Beautiful park with two covered playgrounds side by side. Lots of Fun things for kiddies to do. The only downside is the bathrooms near the playgrounds was pretty gross for early in the day, about 10:30am. This definitely needs to be addressed. I cannot comment on the rest of the park as we only came for the playgrounds :)

What's not to like about this park when I live across the street from it. This park features the following: kids playground, basketball courts, soccer fields, lacrosse fields, walking paths, ice cream parlor, outdoor stage for concerts & shows and the Parkland Rec center had meeting rooms, indoor basketball, dance / aerobics room and a gym. This is a very nice community park that all ages can enjoy. The park rangers on the other hand sometimes have power trips and their ego takes over. I was there on an unoccupied part of the grass playing with my kids and I was told to leave because I didn't have a permit! I was in disbelief that I needed a damn permit to play ball. I ignored him and the ranger drove off on his golf Cart mumbling that he's going to turn me in. Oh well, he was having a bad day.

Pine Trails Park is a popular park for families in the city of Parkland. We have been there several times to watch our boys play lacrosse, but the fields are also used for soccer and other sports. There are five multi-purpose fields, including one synthetic turf field. There are also four T-ball fields and a football field. The fields are fairly well maintained and even have a few shaded bleachers at each of them, nice for those times when you forget your lawn chair at a game! The park has a fishing pier and walking trails, including Life Trails fitness equipment. There is a really cool modern looking playground that I always see being used by all aged kids. There are new basketball courts which are also always being used. In fact, of the basketball courts is being refurbished right now. There is even an amphitheater in the park which holds monthly concerts and special events. My only feedback about this park would be the lack of a regular hours at the concession stand during games. At one game a few weeks ago the concession stand was not open at all and today it was open for just a little while. It really does not have too much to offer: Beverages, snacks, pretzels, hot dogs. However, there is more to choose from then the vending machines which just has limited snacks, beverages, and ice cream. During tournaments there are some great food carts T this park. However on days like today, when we play recreational games, it would be nice if the concession stand was open longer and had some more substantial food options.

This is a beautiful park that has a large playground, multiple baseball/softball fields and even has a concession area by the playground that serves cold treats and microwaveable pizzas. The playground is covered with a tarp and has multiple structures for kids of all ages.

Well maintained and recreational programs are very organized. We live in Lake Worth and drive to Parkland to participate in their programs.

Came here with my wife to sit at the upstairs bar called Panthers Point to have a beer and watch the pros, figure skating and hockey league camp in action but sadly was closed so had to watch from the lower level. My son plays here in the adult league at night. It was pretty exciting knowing that the Florida Panthers actually practice here. The other side of the den was ice skating open to the public for $24.00 with an optional $6.00 skate rental. In order to skate, they provide a digital QR Code to scan and create a Daysmart account with a digital waiver to sign. It was actually very cold walking around and not even on the ice. Basic food and drinks are offered at the snack bar near the entrance. Fun place to skate or just relax and watch the skaters in action on the ice. A Spanish-style courtyard with a pool in the middle? Gorgeous. At first glance, you half expect Antonio Banderas to show up and do laps. It's a gym that looks like a resort--until you actually use it. History lesson: LA Fitness started in Southern California in 1984, exploded across the country in the '90s, and has been serving up gym memberships ever since. They've built an empire on ellipticals and broken promises. This Coral Springs location carries that proud tradition--equal parts convenience and chaos. The good news? It's convenient. It's a gym. You show up, you sweat, you leave. The rest? Well... let's just say the glory days of this place are hiding somewhere under a pile of busted cup holders. Half the machines here are held together by duct tape and prayer. The steam room? Don't bother. It's been down so long it should qualify as a historical ruin. The jacuzzi? Looks less like a relaxation zone and more like a breeding ground for Swamp Thing. It's not hydrotherapy--it's biohazard therapy. And yet, here I am--still showing up. Because at the end of the day, a gym is a gym, and you get out what you put in. The treadmill doesn't care if the cup holder is broken, it cares if you're broken. This isn't a luxury spa--it's gladiator training with slightly better lighting. You don't join LA Fitness for perfection--you join because it's there. LA Fitness Coral Springs looks good from the outside, fights you on the inside, but still gets the job done. It's convenient, it's flawed, and it's mine. Because at the end of the day, gyms don't make you fit--you do. And after 28 years, I'm just grateful to still be in the fight.

It was a Saturday morning with a chance of showers in the forecast so the first thing I noticed was the distance from the parking to the entrance with absolutely no cover along the way. On entry, I was impressed by the open feeling. It had the typical locker lined lobby and corridors but the lockers (I saw) were all in open spaces so there was no feeling of crowding. I had to imagine a gazillion kids. As I expect all schools are now (not where I attended) all seating was fixed. The auditorium was large but probably not large enough to seat the full student body with each seat having a folding desktop. I'm a small person and it did feel a bit crowded... I'm not sure it would be comfortable for a big kid. The desks in the classrooms seemed to be standard school issue with the metal frame and no chance of adjustment. I felt very confined and again, I would think is might be tight for anyone much larger than my petite frame. The building felt clean and comfortable. I did not use the restroom but did note it was located close the the classrooms we were using. For a public school this seemed ok... and if I had a school-age kid, I could see them here... assuming they have a good program.

By 1920 the Lions were international with chapters in Canada. In 2017 the Lions Club celebrated their 100th anniversary in Chicago where they were founded. Today there are 1.4 million people who are Lions positively impacting their communities with service projects. A charter member of the Coral Springs Lions club was Lewie Mullins, the first elected mayor of Coral Springs. Mullins was a Coral Ridge Properties Vice President who was the first developer of Coral Springs. Mullins also helped build the Covered Bridge in town. Sadly he passed away at the young age of 49 after only two years in office. Lions Park was dedicated on June 6, 1970. It was the first park in Coral Springs. The land for the park and Hunt Elementary were donated by Coral Ridge Properties to the school board who then donated back 6 acres for the park. Lions Club members John Nekich and Col Ralph Gray fundraised to build the baseball diamond which was used by the first little league in the city. The early Coral Springs community enjoyed the weekly BBQ's sponsored by Coral Ridge Properties along with baseball and softball games. The park was the end of the town parade route and held the celebrations after. Today Lions Park is still bringing the community together. Park amenities include basketball courts, benches, concession stands, grills, pavilions a playground, picnic tables, restrooms, sand volleyball courts, softball/baseball fields, a paved walking trail, and tennis courts. The Lions Clun is still an active organization in the city today.
