Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.

Their hours are very convenient having late hours 4 days out of the week. I love having the option to bring my kids in to be seen without having to miss time from work to do so. Dr. Abbott is phenomenal. She's very straight to the point, and makes sure to cross all her t's and dot all her i's, which I appreciate. She is blunt, but not cold and maintains good bedside behavior. Dr. Bradford and Dr. Patel are equally good and I always feel they are caring and knoledgable about the decisions they are making as well. From what I understand, Dr. Harnum is no longer with the practice, which is a blessing for them in my opinion. She was very cold, rude, and always condecending. We have always had pleasent experiences with Crestwood up until the last 3 or 4 visits we've had. The wait times have been increasingly getting worse, waiting on average 45 minutes to an hour to be seen by the doctor. Being a pediatricians office, you'd think they would understand having small children who often don't feel well waiting in a confined space for an extended period of time is not fun. I really like the option to leave messages on the nurse line and have always heard back within a timely manor (usually no more than 30 minutes). Yesterday, I had what I thought could be an urgent situation with my daughter and wasn't sure if I needed to bring her to the office or possibly urgent care. They had me leave a message on the nurse line and it was over 4 hours later that they returned the call, apologizing for the delay and asking for her to be brought in. By that time, we had already resolved the issue and no longer needed to be seen. The nurse made me feel as if I was in the wrong for not wanting to bring her in. I got another call this morning from a nurse again asking me to bring her in as a follow up, and when I denied (because I can't leave work), they again made me feel as if I was neglecting my child for not bringing her in. This isn't the first time that I've gotten the guilt-trip condensending responses from the nurses there for not being able to bring my children in when they've wanted to see them. Like I said, in the past I've had no issues with leaving messages on the nurse line, so I'm not sure what happened or why it took 4+ hours to hear back from them this time. Very concerning as a parent who relies on their childrens doctors office to be able to answer questions and guide them in the right direction when they are worried about their childs well-being. I'm really hoping they quickly get out of this "funk" they've been in and can go back to having great service like we have become accustomed to over the last 3+ years.

The dismissive and condescending pediatrician left me puzzled by the positive reviews. From the start the doctor seemed very hurried whether it was a well checkup or a sick visit. On the sick visit he completely dismissed our son's symptoms as normal. His current pediatrician, on the other hand, took his time to carefully listen to his history, asked questions, performed a thorough exam and ultimately diagnosed him with a congenital issue. On the third and final visit I was shocked by the treatment I received. Dr. McEachern discovered that I preferred organic baby formula for our son. He proceeded to lecture me for 10 minutes on how all baby formula is exactly the same, that organic is just a marketing label (targeted at idiot consumers like myself apparently) etc. And then after getting off his soap box (his words), he admitted that he forgot whether he had even examined my baby after getting so fired up. I would urge anyone considering this pediatrician to search this practice's google reviews, which portray a completely different and more accurate picture than the yelp reviews. Other cons to this practice- the office itself seems old and outdated and on one occasion had a terrible smell of body odor. They also do not have any Saturday hours. On the plus side their receptionists are friendly and there was never more than a few minutes wait.

He is seen every 3 to 6 months. His next appointment was due, so I called the office and at that time I was notified that we were no longer welcome back to the practice due to the $17. I offered to pay the $17 yesterday and the manager told me that even if I pay the $17 my son may or may not be welcome back to the practice. If I would've paid it yesterday, I would have to wait over a week for the owner of the practice to get back from vacation to read a certified letter I would have to write explaining why the $17 is past due. I told the manager yesterday that my son cannot be off his medication for very long so now he has to wait over a week and a half to see a new doctor.
