My two children have been seen by some wonderful doctors at this practice. However, in recent times a bill of $17 went to collections. My son has been on medication since he was five. He is seen every 3 to 6 months. His next appointment was due, so I called the office and at that time I was notified that we were no longer welcome back to the practice due to the $17. I offered to pay the $17 yesterday and the manager told me that even if I pay the $17 my son may or may not be welcome back to the practice. If I would've paid it yesterday, I would have to wait over a week for the owner of the practice to get back from vacation to read a certified letter I would have to write explaining why the $17 is past due. I told the manager yesterday that my son cannot be off his medication for very long so now he has to wait over a week and a half to see a new doctor. Manassas Pediatrics has chosen $17 over patient care. Avoid this practice. read more

Hands down the best medical facility I've ever been to. First of all they are ALWAYS easy to reach and and make booking an appointment easy. Front desk is kind, nurses are warm and welcoming. All of the pediatricians are top tier and put in max effort to resolve your issue. One of my favorite things that they do is go back and review your notes from the visit before so they come in the room prepared instead of you having to reexplain everything because it's a different doctor. My 3 children haven been patients with this pra for 12 years. My twins have have breathing issues since they were very young due to being premature. It has always been a struggle with the doctors. They only wanted to push asthma medication - when they don't have asthma or just albuterol which would make their breathing worse or have zero affect. Confirmed by specialists that neither would help or was necessary but that allergy medication would work. And guess what it did. Or a steroid initially if it was bad. Manassas Pediatrics would almost NEVER give us a prescription and we always had to go to the ER in the middle of the night. Fast forward it took 3 visits for them to confirm pneumonia in our daughter which they tried to convince us she was fine. I kept thinking it was more than a cold but was convinced otherwise. Their practice was always mediocre at best and we always plan leave... but this past week we finally decided it was time. Dr. Flynn on our second visit because our son for 2 weeks is still sick and getting worse with trouble breathing told him - YOUR REALLY NOT SICK. WHY DONT YOU WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL? KIDS TEND TO LIE AND REALLY ARE NOT SICK, WHY WONT YOU GO TO SCHOOL? Her bullying and berating him went on for several minute. She was only addressing and pressing him, not once looking at me asking question. Even after I said no I wanted to bring him in because he couldn't catch his breath in the shower, continued to cough... I felt dismissed and shamed for bringing in my sick child to the doctor. He couldn't understand why a doctor would want him to feel worse about being sick. I felt so overwhelmed and second guessed myself and took him to school. He couldn't breathe that whole day. I called the office crying and mad...I was told the office Manager would call me. She never did. My son was exposed to COVID come to find out. Thankfully was negative but confirmed with a sinus infection and ear infection due to Patient First's compassion and thorough doctors. read more

Had a bad experience. During well ness visit of the kid, have got the ear wax removal done. The team never informed me that this a procedure not in the wellness visit. I was billed 107$ for 1 ml of Hydrogenperoxide n water. Asked for explanantiona and itemized bill for this procedure, 3 folks took my call and reverted back but no info as of now after 3 weeks. They blame the insurance but I blame them for not letting me know the details. read more

This practice is inaccurately poorly rated on Yelp. My mother worked for this practice many years ago and Dr. Granados was my doctor growing up and is now my kids' doctor. He has always gone above and beyond in his care for me and my family. The office staff is prompt and professional. I will recommend this practice to anyone looking to bring their kids from infants up to the beginning of adulthood. Dr Granados has always said "thank you for your trust". Consistently, one of the absolute worst customer service experiences we've ever had. The front desk staff always has an attitude problem, is uncaring, rolling eyes at families and does not respond to emails and later claims they never received them. Ingrid hung up on me when I was requesting information 2 weeks prior and told me no one would ever have told me they'd give me some information I had requested mutiples. times. One of the doctors referenced Nazis and said children can be "beaten into a pulp" and overall a poor experience. I would never recommend this place. The only silver lining was NP Michelle Morrison. Both my boys having been going here since birth. It is with sad heart that we now have to find an adult Doctor for both of them. I find it strange to see any bad reviews, I feel we have always had great care from all the doctors. By far the Best has been Dr. Flower! (Always takes time to make sure we don't feel rushed)! We have been using Manassas Pediatrics for a total of 20 years now, mainly Dr. Anita Flower. As of today, we are transferring all of our accounts elsewhere and will Never recommend this office again. My son was involved in an accident and has major open wounds on his body that require repacking Every Single Day, needless to say, this is EXTREMELY painful. The office has refused to write a prescription for a pain reliever because "they don't typically see patients with the need". Are you kidding me?!? This is absolutely unacceptable! STAY AWAY!!! NO BEDSIDE MANNER!! RUDE STAFF!! UNPROFESSIONAL FROM THE FRONT DESK, TO THE NURSES, AND YUP YOU GUESSED IT ESPECIALLY THE DOCTORS!!!! I agree with Jade and Vero's reviews below, very accurate. Every single time we brought our kids' here, all they want to do is check for STREP THROAT. The doctors are unknowledgeable and I don't think the nurses are certified. We always feel rushed out by the nurses and they make sure that the parents know that they have other patients and we shouldn't waste their time. They are always saying something while checking your child. For example, "Come on sweetie (sarcastically) I have other patients, I can't keep coming back." There's one particular one with long curly hair and she's always Dr. Ault's nurse, she shoved a Q-tip up my daughter's nose so harshly that my daughter cried. Be careful when they check for Strep because they will force that stick down your kids throat. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILD. My husband talked to Dr. Ault regarding her nurse's attitude and she justified her actions and took her side. The doctors' from this place do not offer treatments or any advice for your child. The only medicine they know how to prescribe is Amoxicillin (the pink stuff for infection), I swear they probably get a $1 for every time they write a prescription. This place will turn you into a nasty person because I guarantee you that you will get into an argument to defend your child. read more

I have had all five of my children go through Manassas pediatrics. I have had many situations from diapers to teens. The staff have all been helpful, kind and compassionate. I have good and bad things to say about this practice. I've always had good experiences with the receptionists and with customer service over the phone. When I have a question about my daughter if she is sick, they are very responsive and let me know what I need to do or if I need to bring her in. I've also had good experiences with Dr. Granados and NP, Kelly Welstead. They are both caring and informative. I have not had the greatest experiences with Dr. Flynn or Dr. Ault. We saw Dr. Flynn when my daughter was a baby/toddler and she made me feel rather ignorant. She was pretty condescending most of the time, whether or not that was her intention. She asked me how many ounces of milk my daughter was drinking - I didn't really know because we just gave milk to her in a cup, so I estimated. She said I could be causing her to become anemic and made me feel bad about it...she ran a test but it of course came back negative. We had a couple of bad experiences with Dr. Ault. The first was when my daughter was 2 and suddenly stopped walking (she'd been walking since she was 10 months old and was very active). She started crawling and saying it hurt to walk. It was very odd behavior for her. Dr. Ault chalked it up to typical toddler behavior - that she was basically doing it for attention - and dismissed our claims that it was VERY unlike our daughter. Thankfully, a younger doctor diagnosed it as a side effect of the antibiotic she was on - apparently in rare cases, it can cause hip pain. She told us to give her Tylenol, and within a few hours, our daughter was back to normal! One good thing though - the next day, someone from the office called to ask about her condition to see if it had improved, so I definitely appreciated that. Another time, our daughter had an ear infection and an eye infection at the same time. She was crying in the bathroom before Dr. Ault arrived because the pain in her ear was so bad. Dr. Ault assumed she was just being difficult on purpose or something and said, "If she keeps this up, I won't be able to check her at all!" Our daughter normally loves going to the doctor, so the crying was from the pain, not from being at the doctor's...but of course Dr. Ault didn't know this because she barely knew her. Finally, Dr. Ault realized she was crying for real - from the pain- and changed her position completely, saying she might have a very serious eye infection and that we would have to go to the hospital (all the way in Fairfax because apparently the PW hospital ER wasn't receiving children...???). We trusted her because well, we're not doctors, so we took her. The ER doctor couldn't believe our ped. had sent us there because it was just a simple eye infection and simple ear infection. She said our daughter wasn't even presenting symptoms of the severe eye infection. A couple of weeks later, we get a $900 bill in the mail from the hospital, not to mention the $90 for the regular doctor's visit!!! We had to split it up into 4 installments because we couldn't afford to pay it all at once. This one incident makes me so angry. I know that she was just trying to be cautious, but had she been more knowledgeable and been more willing to listen to us, this wouldn't have happened. What bothers me most is that both times, she seemed to think she knew our daughter better than we did and that she had a very cynical view of children's behavior. Sure, kids can act up, but if a parent is telling you it is very atypical for their child, shouldn't you give them the benefit of the doubt? All in all, this practice is not bad but I will definitely be more selective about which doctors we go to in the future. read more

This is the worst doctors office!! Its a shame because they have good doctors. I personally liked Dr Flynn, she was a great doctor. The office manager is completely uncapable of running a doctors office. In fact she encourages her staff to be rude. They barely answer the phone and when they do they are incredibly rude. They miss-read the charts- they constantly mix up vaccine and appointments. I have been in the office waiting on doctor- after checking in and they will call my phone stating- I missed my appointment-when i'm actually in the office. Another occasion they called me to set up an appointment-when I showed up for my appointment after waiting over an hour in parking lot they stated it was too early for my daughters vaccine. Another example of mal practice was when they MA had to measure my baby 5 plus times because she didn't know what she was doing. If you value your child healthcare, I strongly encourage you to choice a different pedestrian-because this office is completely incapable of providing adequate care. read more

My second time taking my kiddos here. Their first visit was very informative Julie Waser, NP really took the time to explain everything instead of just giving me a piece of paper with information about a 18 month old, not that I don't like something to read. It was just nice to have actual interaction with someone truly looking for the best interest for your children. The front desk staff have been really nice and welcoming. The only thing I would say is that their office is pretty crowded in the back with tiny hallways and the rooms are a little outdated with the dark brown stained wood. But we aren't here for the decor, are we folks? But it still will be nice to have something nice to look at while we are waiting to be seen :) Anyways great staff and doctors so far. read more

I took my kids here for a few years. At one point I was taking my child in often because I knew something was wrong but the doctors (all of them) kept blowing me off like they just thought I was a paranoid mom. They kept saying he was teething, getting over a virus, etc. It took my child getting so sick that he had to spend several days in the NICU before they took me seriously. read more

The place is filthy. They really need to invest in a good nightly cleaning crew. We had a good experience with one of the doctors but a very bad experience with Nurse Sandy. Both times we saw her she was extremely rude to my husband and I and to the nurse assisting her. It made us very uncomfortable. She was kind to our children, but spoke to us like we were idiots: rolling her eyes at our questions and laughing at our ideas. Needless to say, we are switching practices! At first I was excited to transfer my kids to old Towne pediatrics, while the Doctors are good the staff and polices of the clinic are terrible!!! If you're 15min late that will turn your sick child away! If you're health insurance needs updating they will tell you when you arrive that they can't see you till you update your information! You could have told me and my crying baby that when I booked the appointment and finally the last straw when did you need to book a appointment for WALK IN!!!??? They turned my sick baby away bc I am supposed to make appointments for walk in. Their bedside manner is terrible!!! I have been going to this office for 8+ years. I have taken all my four kids there for various reasons. I had to take my daughter in because she had a fever and severe pain in her ear (Unfortunately before we got there I had to give her motrin and her fever was gone). When we went there, they noticed she had a lot of wax in her ear and could not see past it. They tried numerous ways to take it out ( and kept going,even though my daughter was in severe pain). We were told to come back after I put over the counter drops in her ear. As soon as we got home, my daughters fever spiked up and I called the pediatrician again. They had advised me to come back in, in order to check her, AGAIN! I told them I was not going to drive back all over the place, specially if my daughter was feeling sick. I just wanted them to put in a prescription because her ear was in pain and it was obvious she had an ear infection. I have had plenty of experiences with my children and their ear infections. She (Julie Waser-nurse) implied, my daughter did not have a fever, she also kept telling me there is nothing they could do and I have to bring her back. She made me feel like I was a liar and I had to BEG for them to put amoxicillin in the pharmacy. She was COMPLETELY rude and that is when I finally lost it and raised my voice. I let her know that I was not a liar and her customer skills just plain sucked! A lot of the nurses and pediatricians in this office are TERRIBLE. They are very, very cold and treat you (the parents) like you are ignorant. The only pediatrician there that I love and the only one I go for is Dr. Granados.
