Brought in for service due to a recall. I tried calling about when it will be ready but they never picked up or responded to my messages. Now they are telling me Service is closed for the day, they told me it will be done in around 2 hours, i dropped it off at 9:30 and its now 6pm. If they are going to have to keep it overnight they should let me know. Rude receptionist. Just terrible. read more

DO NOT Buy/ lease a CT 5 ... there is a defect with the engine light going on and not being able to start car remotely. I've leased 2 of these from Pine Belt in the last 10 years... both cars had the same issue. The first one I filed a lemon law successfully. Furthermore, when you try to call service not only can they not see you, there are mo loaner cars! Called 1/31 and cannot get car seen 3/3. So I drive to work with the engine light on not knowing if it's the actual engine or the computer that's faulty. Bye bye Pine Belt and GM read more

I was fully prepared to purchase a vehicle from Pine Belt Cadillac, but after witnessing how they treated my friend, I will never do business there. The situation was handled in a completely disrespectful and unprofessional manner. It was honestly shocking. What stood out the most is how quickly their attitude changed after the sale. Once the paperwork is signed, customer care seems to disappear. The lack of accountability and concern was clear. Instead of helping resolve a serious issue, they passed responsibility around and treated my friend like a problem instead of a valued customer. If this is how they treat people after taking their money, that tells you everything you need to know. Buyer beware read more

1 Star is too many for this place that was a great place too me at 1 time my family and myself including friends were loyal too this place not to mention i live an hour away and making it known that i refered this place to everyone, over 1000 Cadillac's bought here between me and my population of friends in the 15 years of loyalty I am telling all my friends and family all my followers on social media what position pinebelt has put me in over an electric car that I never wanted , the car was damaged and they pointed fingers not taking responsibility, keep in mind they have a contract with evgo free charging for the length of lease , they gave me a loaner car during the process during the time they argued over repairs, 3 months have gone by and today they came to my house 1 hour away without notice and took there loaner car back with all my personal belongings including my diabetic supplies and leaving me with no car , my leased vehicle is still in there possession! Now all of a sudden the car is fixed WITHOUT MY agreement to do the repairs because they are holding ME liable!!!! Im a type 1 diabetic and need a reliable car to go to multiple doctor visits and this is what they do? Over all my experience with PINE BELT CADILLAC has been extremely disappointing. From the mishandling of my vehicle issues to lack of accountability. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone I expected professional service and support from a premium brand, but what I received was frustration, delays, and finger-pointing . SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND LOOK ELSEWHERE AVOID THEM OR RISK WASTED MONEY AND ENDLESS EXCUSES!!! read more

Issue 1: The salesman pressured us to write a check despite being told the fund were not yet present in our checking account. We didn't. Issue 2: No follow up to our call about our license plates. Went in to dealer to discover there was an issue with their paperwork which was just sitting around. Issue 3: Special interest license plates requested, promised but not acquired. Issue 4: Despite several calls and a visit back to dealer, our title was not produced. Many excuses by staff that was clearly clueless as to the MVC AND their own dealer's procedures. After 2.5 months without receiving our title or accurate information, a 3rd visit evidenced they were in possession of our title, which had been issued less than 1 month after our cash purchase. read more

I was lured in to test drive a Cadillac promised an amazon gift card for coming in, i was treated horrible because i am in the market but not sure what vehicle i would like to finance as i am no longer looking to lease- I went in on a Saturday sat down with a salesman FYI not the person i was told to come see(I have the business card at home i will post the name later) he was very rude basically didnt even want to deal with me , we went for a test drive-now keep in mind i have been driving 30 years he proceeded to tell me how to drive put on the blinker don't accelerate to fast its only a test drive- yes thats the point i want to know how it really drives proceeded to direct me every single minute of the drive ETC.... Point i never got my gift car that they said would be emailed its been over 3 weeks- i reached out to the dealership and they said oh yes its emailed well i dont know about everyone else but an email is instant not 3 weeks out and BTW there was NOone else there at the time i was the only customer I would NOT recommend going there they lied about the gift card and they treat you like you dont matter if you don't drive in with a fancy car apparently i am not worth there time. DONT get trapped into there gimmick and i would go anywhere else that Pine belt Cadillac on RT 37 Tomsriver VERY unhappy with my experience I myself work for a dealership and we would never treat our potential customers in this way SOOOO Disappointed I will not be buying a Cadillac that is for sure. read more

Our salesperson, Peter Franco was awesome. He was personable and helpful from the start. He answered all of my questions and was well-informed and straightforward during the entire purchase experience. Upon returning home I had the car inspected by my shop and they found a couple of issues with the car. Peter and Eddie arranged for me to bring the car in and they fixed the issues with no charge. I will definitely be calling Peter the next time I need a car. read more

Do not buy a vehicle from Pine Belt Cadillac. If you need their help after they take your money, they will let you down. Pine Belt's lack of responsiveness means my temporary registration is expired and its poor inspection of the vehicle means I cannot drive the vehicle legally, and it is also broken and awaiting repairs until mid-April. I bought a certified pre-owned 2021 Cadillac Escalade on February 2, 2025. Since we live in Virginia, we received temporary tags since the dealer is in New Jersey. The dealership told us that they use a third party to register all vehicles and that they would handle the out-of-state registration as well. However, the temporary tags expired on March 2, 2025, and despite my efforts to get a status update, I have been met with a lack of responsiveness and poor customer service. On February 28, 2025, I called my salesman, Alex Santos, for a status update since the tags were about to expire. He informed me that I would have to call back on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, as he could not get the information the day I called and would be off work on Monday, March 3, 2025. He did not offer to escalate the issue or get someone else to investigate the status of the registration. When I called back on March 4, 2025, as instructed, I was put on speakerphone with the finance manager, who could only say that the status was "pending." They said they would investigate if there was anything else they could do to get an extension on the temporary tag and would call back, but they did not. On March 7, 2025, I emailed Alex Santos to document a paper trail and express my frustration with the lack of responsiveness, but he did not respond by mid-day the next day. On March 8, 2025, I escalated the situation to the general manager, Marc Stango, who informed me that the plates shipped from the third party on March 7, 2025, and would get them to us "soon." When I asked about what to do until we received the plates, he said he would issue a letter, which has no force of law and does not resolve the fact that the temporary tags clearly indicate that they are expired. When I pressed him about the lack of responsiveness on this issue, Marc responded that he had a business to run and did not have time for this, and he hung up the phone. The general manager apparently has no interest in accountability or customer service. Additionally, the vehicle was sold as a certified pre-owned and was under the original warranty. Despite a supposed inspection to qualify it as certified pre-owned, the car is already at the dealership in Virginia needing repairs for faulty sensors that make all the special safety features inoperable. The part needed is on backorder, and I will have to wait six weeks to finish the repairs. The rear sensor to open the liftgate was also not functioning and had to be replaced. Finally, the vehicle's battery was found to be malfunctioning and was replaced under warranty. I asked about Pine Belt's inspection of the vehicle to qualify for the certified pre-owned warranty, this was ignored, and I still do not have a response. This is far from a Cadillac worthy experience. I used to get customer satisfaction surveys from Cadillac directly, but this did not happen. Therefore, I have gone public with Yelp and Google Reviews to log my dissatisfaction. Pine Belt's staff and attitude to do not match the Cadillac brand. read more

TLDR: Appointment that was time sensitive ignored and no communication from service department. Service writer "Joe B" unprofessional. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to service my 24' Lyriq and stressed that it was time sensitive. Night dropped it the night before so they could work on it first thing in the morning. Next day I realize I hadn't had any sort of communication or update from them. I called the service department at 12pm and requested an update and was told a "Joe" would call me back. Fast forward to 3pm I call again and request an update and got the same message that "Joe" would call me and the rep advised that if I didn't hear anything within an hour to call back. Didn't hear anything and called again to which the rep said she would go over there and tell him to call. At 4:35pm, "Joe B (service writer)" finally calls and says the car hasn't been looked at because they were "swamped" and most likely wouldn't be looked at until Wednesday. I told him for a premium brand like Cadillac their lack of communication and service was unprofessional. Joe decided to take this as an insult and "gave me an attitude." At this point I requested for my fob to be left at the front desk so I could retrieve my vehicle and Joe said he would "try and couldn't guarantee it being there." It took one more call to the service department for a rep to obtain the fob. read more

I've had problems both with sales and service. We were taking advantage of by Dylan who told us that we would be able to refinance in about six months with the lender that we were using, and when we reached out to them, they informed us that they do not do that and they never have done that. And every other refinance company we reached out to wouldn't even call us back because of how much we owed and how much the car was worth. We now owe $17,000 more than what the car is worth. After a few weeks of having the car I noticed the transmission was slipping so we brought it into service. Luckily we still had a warranty because the transmission needed to be rebuilt and we were informed numerous times. We were only pay $600 for a $6000 transmission. We had nothing but problems with the transmission ever since. Also every time we bring it back, they tell us there is no problems with it and there's nothing they can do . We took it to Lakewood pine belt and they said they were able to find codes on the transmission and also said that they did feel it slipping. They couldn't do anything because they were not the ones who rebuilt the transmission and they would have to charge us to do it all over again if they did . So after arguing with the manager and service for months, he finally agreed to take a ride with me so I can show him what it was doing personally and I've been waiting for him to call me back for over three maybe four months now. This was the first car we ever finance so we definitely didn't know what to look for, but we learned a huge lesson thanks to them. I did message the owner and he actually did get back to me right away and he seems like the only person that cares. Hopefully, I can change this review. I guess we will see. read more

I just bought a beautiful 2021 XT5. I just walked in with no appointment and was greeted by one of the best salesmen I have ever met. His name is Joseph Gliozzo. I traded a ATS that was beautiful, just not good for me as it was hard for me to get in and out of because of my age and back issues. I felt he gave me a fair price on the trade as well as the purchase of my XT5. Joe was so professional, he took his time to explain every detail of the purchase, and answered every question we had. He was not the pushy hard sales type, he was willing to show me as many as I wanted to see, and never felt rushed. I felt he treated myself and my wife as if we were buying a brand new model. I have owned over 30 cars, many new ones over the years, and so I met many car salesmen. I truly believe Mr. Joe Gliozzo was by far one of the best. In fact after the sale joe had me bring in the car to have it detailed. Well again Timothy Dohrenwend in that Dept. had the car look brand new. The car was finished in the time frame as promised. Like a mirror it looks unbelievable, The whole company is top notch......It was just a great experience for us.... Thank you Thomas Anzalone.... read more

Courteous, and friendly advice on leasing my vehicle. My salesman Joe showed me the way to set up my to set up.all the extra features that came with my vehicle. I had to go visit a friend for two months, and when I got back I forgot everything he told me. I called and was told I could go back and he would help me again. I just haven't had the time as yet to get back to the dealer. Not their fault, mine time is limited. All I have to do is get myself back to them one day. The car runs great, no problems with it at all. I love all the new features my XT5 has. The XT6 was just too big for me, since I'm alone. So I chose the XT5. The XT6 comes with a3rd row seat, which I have no use for being single. No grandchildren yet. I am very satisfied with my choice of the XT5 Cadillac. Thank you Pine Belt. read more

Had a really bad experience at Pine Belt Dealership when I tried to return a leased car after my sister in law died. We called multiple times, having to leave multiple messages for the manager that were never returned. We called GM Finance and was told any dealership would accept the return of the car; however when we brought the car to the Pine Belt dealership they refused to take the car. We then brought it to Gold Coast dealership and they were extremely polite and immediately accepted the car. read more

I had a very bad experience at the service department. When I made my initial call to scheduled a appointment I explained that the factory welded exhaust pipe to muffler had broken off on my 2012 CTS. The emission system was still under warrantee. I gave them my Vin # and they said to bring the car in for repair. When I brought it in they told me I would need a complete exhaust system (over thousand dollars)and it would not be covered under Warrantee. Keep in mind that the exhaust pipe is stainless steel so it was not rusted. I left the dealership and went to Meineke in Toms River and they welded the exhaust pipe back to the muffler for $20.00 I will never return or recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I'd luv to be able to give then less than one star, but that isn't possible. From the salesman we had to the money guy to the stuffed shirts that run the place, in my opinion, they ALL are incompetent. On top of that, they make you feel Lee's than human if you don't have pristine credit. Ed, the money guy, in my opinion, is this alpha there. He interrupts, is rude and obnoxious. If he gets riled, you can't understand him since his accent is so thick. What a bad time we had dealing with them. I wouldn't by a lug nut from then. In my opinion this is the worst place to buy a vehicle. Go elsewhere. We did! We got a better deal and a better car without accusations or name calling. Walk, no run from any pine belt dealership. The car isn't there, all the sudden that car is at a different lot an hour away, hmmmmm sounds fishy to me. Glad I was smart enough not to send him my back account information he requested over the phone. So now I am there and not a single car on the used inventory webpage is at the lot. First off let me say that Pinebelt Cadillac has a very impressive inventory there sales staff is very accommodating with your needs.not pushy at all and they work with you . I am most impressed with their service staff which to me is most important. It's because of them that I will continue to buy my cars from them . And when we buy we buy two at a time . I can assure you that if your looking for a Cadillac don't sign with anyone till you see them . To me they are second to none when it comes to buying a Cadillac. Your biggest problem will be deciding on what car to buy . I just updated my review for Pinebelt Cadillac . Since my recent service I received an email on presidents weekend which had incentives towards a Brand new CTS . I thought it was a ploy to just get me in there. Let me say I'm notorious to be upside down with vehicles which I'm not proud of . I saw my salesperson Joe B. and along with manager Mark S. they looked at my numbers and got me a great rate and put me in a brand new CTS. They truly treated me like family . Thanks again Pinebelt PS. Nothing rides like a Cadillac read more

My experience at Pine Belt in Lakewood NJ and Uconnect. Summary: Owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 34,000 miles from Pine Belt for 5 months now and still have issues. Uconnect will not connect with my car and it vibrates to the point when you would think it is going to fall apart once you hit 69 HPH. Below are more details on how I had a nightmare time with the finance department for purchasing and the service department to try and get the car fixed. Service is now refusing to fix my vehicle due to NJ you can only go 65 MPH. Nevermind the other 35 states where driving 70 MPH is legal. Sales/finance: I spent several hours with Steven in Pine Belt looking at Jeep Grand Cherokees on March 24, 2018. Steven was a great Sales person to work with, but I wish I could say the same for the rest of the department. When it came to negotiating the price, Jared who was the account finance person gave a hard time. Would not give me any monthly payments or estimates without running my credit report. I asked to go with the current going estimate (told him I had excellent credit which was proven too) but refused. I asked if he could beat the price World Subaru/Jeep gave me on the same exact vehicle and ended up telling me to leave and go back to World Subaru/Jeep then. While shaking hands ready to leave, (forget his name) the sales manager came and spoke with me and then Jared in the office. Ended up staying and letting them run the credit report after spending 4.5 hours with a pregnant wife, I was not going to let the hard work go to waste. Long story short I ended up getting the vehicle had had a miserable time signing papers with Jared in the end. Service: After owning the Jeep GC for a week, I noticed while traveling the NJ Turnpike that the car had a bad vibration starting around 65 MPH as well as not being able to setup Uconnect access. Uconnect support said the calling card needed to be replaced. Scheduled a maintenance date/time with a loaner car. Arrived for my appt and was informed I do not have a loaner car ready/available for me. Rescheduled a 2nd appointment and the same happened, but this time they set me up with Enterprise to rent a car. Had my car for 1 day and they "shaved" my rotors noting the vibration was due to stopping and the Uconnect needed support assistance. Two days later I took the vehicle on the NJ Turnpike again and same issue. Spoke with Uconnect to register my vehicle and they said the head unit needed replacement after resetting the model and sending to factory default. Scheduled a 3rd appointment without a loaner since they are impossible to get and desperate to get a quick appointment. They kept the car for 2 weeks and ended up replacing the 2 front tires and spoke with Uconnect who said the customer needs to create a Uconnect account. Three days later I take the car on the NJ Turnpike and still having vibrations but this time is starts at 69 MPH now. Drove to the service building and told them this needs to be fixed. They had me do a drive test with one of the mechanics. He noticed how bad it was but informed me since he cannot go over 65 MHP in NJ he cannot look into the issue. Spoke with Drew in service (who has been working with my vehicle) and Rich the service manager. They informed me that they are refusing to look into my vibrating car which feels like it's going to fall apart once going 69 MPH because they cannot drive over 65 MPH in NJ. I called Uconnect again for a 3rd time and informed me there is nothing they can do since the dealer needs to replace the head unit. I guess I need to go to PA or Ohio or any of other state to have my car repaired since you can do 70 MPH. Now I have to rent a car to travel from NJ to FL cause my 2015 Jeep GC Limited cannot do over 70 MPH without the fear of the tires falling or with my wife and daughter in the car. As of Today (August 2018) 5 months of scheduling service appointments and trying to get my vehicle repaired. I will have a 2015 Jeep GC Limited with 34,000 miles that cannot access Uconnect on the head unit and the whole vehicle vibrates when I hit 69 MPH and gets worse if I go faster. At the point where I wrote up the whole review to post for everyone to read (if they made it this far) and purchase another Jeep from another dealer. read more

My Father is a 91 year old senior citizen and his last three cars have been Cadillac's (purchased a new 2005 STS, eventually sold and leased a new 2012 SRX, turned in and leased a new 2015 SRX). When car shopping with him for the 2005 and the 2012, with Pine Belt being close to where he lives I went with him to the Pine Belt Cadillac Daelership but unfortunately in both scenarios we were turned off by the salesman for a variety of reasons. We drove a further distance to a competitor dealership where the attitude and service was great. They earned my Dad's repetitive business. Considering on getting a new 2017 XT5 we decided to check out Pine Belt Cadillac one more time. We were greeted by Chris Bruno (Mgr) along with a salesman Anthony Zaino Jr. We briefly shared our previous experience with them and they gave us their word that they would work hard to earn my Dad's business. I am very pleased to state that they kept their word ! The attitude was very different all around from when we had previously been at Pine Belt. The management team at Pine Belt are very much on the right track. From the exterior one can note the physical makeover that this dealership has gone through. But most importantly is noting the renovation that this dealership has gone through internally with the proper guidance of better management. Having been in sales personally, I noted the difference which was refreshing. They were very respectful, personable and accommodating. We are most satisfied customers and more than happy to refer others to their dealership! Thank you for your consideration along with the great team work starting with Chris Bruno and Anthony Zaino, Mark Slattery and Michael D'Esposito. You have a good thing going over there at Pine Belt!!! read more
