Going to lead off with the fact that our server has worked at Pinchers for 20 years! She was amazing of course but that is a testament to a well managed spot. 2 for 1 happy hour is a great thing, but as a beer guy sitting outside in heat I just wish they came separately; bearing in mind that would add work for the server. I just don't like warm ipas. Food was good throughout our group of 8. King crab legs were perfect and came with all the tools you need. Fish and chips were delicious and not overly battered. The only low point was my grouper sandwich. Fish was kinda small and dry. My dad who lives down here and is a regular at Pinchers actually said that grouper everywhere has been lousy for a few years and that it wasn't a reflection of the restaurant itself. Wish he told me before I ordered lol! Been here a few times and would never hesitate to come back. Always a good meal and great service. read more

The Pinchers on Highway 41 in Bonita Springs What a Disappointment! Years ago, this was one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, our recent lunch was disappointing, the food was not good, and the service was equally poor. Based on this experience, Pinchers has been removed from my list of dining destinations. Sad to see what was once a favorite decline so much. read more

We come to this location every year when we stay in Bonita Springs and usually have a good experience however this time was a bit disappointing. The food was fine, it was the service that was surprising. I will leave it at this, Terri could use some work on being a bit more polite. Especially when people don't understand or have a question about a menu item. The food is fine and the prices are fair. Good deals on 2 for 1 drinks and some nice specials. This review is based solely on the service this time. If you look at my previous reviews of this location I usually have good things to say about it. This time it was an experience that left us feeling embarrassed and we will not be returning to this location anymore. read more

Pinchers - Seafood Near Me - Bonita Springs, Florida

I think it was about a year ago that we dined at the Pinchers in Estero in a mall near the airport. I was pleasantly surprised. Last late afternoon (430 to 530pm) ate at this Pinchers. Crowded, noisy. Service was just ok, nothing special. For two for one drinks, two Margaritas and two small glasses of house Pinot Grigio. OK. Appetizer of half dozen raw oysters good. For entrees my dining partner ordered the Stone Crab Special, cold, $35; she liked it a lot. I ordered large Grouper platter, $30, but I was a bit disappointed it did not look large (see picture) and, in any case, the grilled preparation was nothing special. So, bottom line, this place is OK, not great. read more

We had extra hot sauce from the cruise and decided to go eat some seafood across the street. Fun restaurant, lots of signs and pictures on the walls. You see the seafood behind the glass like the grocery store. Plus they have 2 for 1 drinks all day, everyday. My friend was craving for crab legs and I wanted to use up the remainder of the hot sauce with anything. Service was great. If it didn't rain outside we would be sitting in the patio. read more

Pro tip; check your receipt. Cute spot. Super lively and great atmosphere. Food was really good as well. Only issue was with the bill, we paid cash and my husband just saw the total and paid without looking at the receipt, his bad. When we got to the car he handed me the receipt to put away and I looked at it and was like wow, that's a lot. And then looked at the prices. Crabs was more than what was listed on the menu, I know daily rate changes so no big deal, continued to scan the receipt and saw that we were charged for 6 bottles of beer that we didn't drink totaling $33, my husband went back in to get our refund and he got it, but man, that's not cool. Our server was otherwise really nice. The stars was just from the overcharging... Otherwise we would have given it a 5 stars. read more

Two for one drinks? Maybe beer and house wine. This was our go to for so long, but now Pinchers has changed their two for one drinks taking the Bloody Mary off of the two for menu. Every we used to frequent Pinchers at least once a week but now the well has run dry. I have not reached out to the Phelan group yet but that is next. I'm sure the food is still good but when restaurants change menus or drinks sometimes they step over a dollar to save a dime. Hopefully they will realize the patrons have dropped off since the changes. UPDATE!!! The brought the Two for one well Bloody Mary back!!! Emailed the Phelan group and they responded, sorry for the confusion but the Bloody Marys are two for one. So we are back and we are enjoying our ole watering hole and favorite restaurant! read more

This is the 2nd Pinchers I've been to & only went because it was a girls lunch, wouldn't of been my choice, the food is MEH, the drinks are MEH, asked for my margarita to be rimmed in Tajin & there was a speck of it on the rim. I got the big fish sandwich, only ate the fish which I assume was cod, was MEH , the hoagie roll it came on would have been way too much bread. The fries look nothing like the pics on the menu & they weren't crowded for lunch which is an indication of somewhere that doesn't have good food. Make a better choice & go elsewhere. read more

Our server was great! The drunken mahi bites were not good. The crab cakes and the mahi tacos had a lot of fish in them. This restaurant relies on the boom boom sauce and kitschy vibes versus being a serious seafood restaurant. Our bill was $118 dollars but the value felt more like $80. read more

Steven is such a good server , if you have him as your server, expect to be treated like a VIP, the food is awesome and consistent , I could name a million reasons why you should go there and order crab but it's best for you to see for yourself read more

Wonderful service , attentive and very informative. Fun place to eat and look at people . Great food options

Metal shaving in my fries, part of the food did not come, waitress no where to be found. Manager tried to make it right with some discounts but it was just horrible. They keep the cake in the fish case and their French fries tasted like fish. Hard pass. Oh and crappy, watered down drinks read more

For many years Pincher's is our go to spot for great juicy fried shrimp.. decor is kitschy and fun and waiters are always great too. The wait can be long but it's worth it. read more

My family loves this place we come here every time we come to this area Florida they have everything you want seafood American food, wings, burgers, sandwiches, oysters literally everything. The staff is so friendly and they have a very fun way of serving you your food. It's super fun here that I totally recommend. The restaurant itself is very clean. It gives you the vibe of a coastal lobster shanty type of place. We love it here. It's awesome. read more

Our waitress was outstanding. She had been there for a long time and really knew her job. It was pleasant sitting outside and the way they do the table bringing a fresh piece of rolled paper table cloth is pretty unique. Wait staff writethier name on the table cloth so you can remember who to call. Food was good for fried food. French fries were out of this world. I woul go back.d. Forgot to take photos though. read more

The service for the happy hour oysters and drinks were great. The oysters were very delicious. The service for dinner was slow. The Shrimp Scampi seemed a lot smaller and they were not so flavorful. The green beans were very soft and light green- they had probably been swimming in water for a bit and flavorless. On other visits the green beans were bright dark green, crisp tender and flavorful. Ambiance is always great at Pinchers. read more

Came here on a weeknight with my family of 5 at dinner and we were quickly seated. I cannot begin to tell you the level of service that we got from Steve-O. He was friendly, knowledgeable and was always coming around frequently to make sure we had what we needed. It was a busy night and he had his share of tables but he always made time to stop and talk to us. His outlook on life was refreshing and even though he had multiple tables he always made us feel like we were the only table he was serving. Food was excellent and the Maryland crabs are the best this side of Baltimore. We look forward to our next visit. read more

Stopped in for quick bite, crab and corn soup just tasted like cream of corn and had way to much pepper, peel and eat shrimp had no flavor, also beware of the 2-1 drinks, Yingling draft was 9 dollars. I like the vibe inside but they need to do a lot better with the food. I've tried both locations in Naples, Rusty's and some of the other local spots are much better. read more

Casual atmosphere, good food, reasonable (by Naples standards) prices. Staff is great.

Food is very good and reasonably priced. Portion sizes ate generous. Service is great and drinks are always two for one. It reminds me of a crab shack which is perfect for a seafood restaurant. read more

It was a muggy June night and we were lucky to get a seat inside. Food was Ok. I don't quite know what the hype is all about? Coconut shrimp appetizer. Tasted like the coconut shrimp you get anywhere. Ditto for Gish and Chips. The salmon on my salad was cooked well. Glad I went to find out what Pinchers was all about. Decent meal at a decent price. But didn't live up to the hype. read more

i didn't enjoy my fish, it was blackened and not what I expected in terms of seasoning. My husband had a crab cake which he liked. The manager personally came to our table and asked if he could bring me something else to eat. Perdo's customer service values are outstanding for this restaurant! We will definitely be back. This is the Pincher's on Tamiami trail by First Lighting south of Bonita Beach road. Thank you Perdo! read more

Worst meal ever in FL. Blue crab claws were just the little pinchers with maybe 100 to try to get fish out of.

Second time here, it's my cousin's favorite spot in Naples. Sat outside and the weather was perfect! Our server, Anna, was terrific. Hubby and I ordered counch fritters and a rack of ribs. Our sides were baked beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious except I was disappointed in the size of the fritters. Very very small. I suggest join the waitlist before you go there or you will wait for a table. read more

They have the best crab cakes and best French fries in town. Service is great and prices are reasonable.

Great place for family. Very helpful waitress who took time out of her busy schedule to get rubber gloves and demonstrate to our grand sons how to crack and eat crab claws. Way beyond expectations. Can't remember her name, but deserves a special call out. read more

Just ok- oysters not fresh but friend's scampi was very good. Watch what you order! Service was good- we should have returned the oysters

The service was fine. We had the grouper dinners, 2 fried, 1 grilled and 1 blackened. Unfortunately the fish just didn't have much flavor no matter how it was prepared. We were disappointed. Perhaps another dinner would be better. read more

We love to have Pinchers prepare our fresh catch. We don't smell up the condo and they do a great job!

Ava was great...love the ribs but miss getting the 1/2 slab. Baked beans rock and getting the skinny fries extra crispy

We dropped in for lunch around 1:30 in the afternoon. It was a busy day. Our server (Amanda) wrote her name backwards on our table paper, which helped us know who we were dealing with. If I had to do that, I'd change my name to Bob. My friend ordered their shrimp salad, which was served in scoops with lots of crackers. I ordered their "lil" order of fried fish, which I asked to come with cole slaw and garlic bread. The food came out pretty quickly. My fish was so hot, I had to wait to eat it. It was tasty, breaded and cooked well, and was just good. When you order a beer, you get two, so instead of getting 4 beers (a bit much for 2 people for lunch) we ordered one, and I had one of the 12 ounce chilled glasses, while my friend had the other. Service was good, the place was clean, and we ate outside. All in all, a good lunch. read more
