They did tell me that they were going to be discontinuing that brand but that they would still provide service. Now the hottub can't get hot (I keep it set at 104 degrees and it is stuck at 99) so I called them to see about getting it serviced. Now they no longer service these hottubs and that I need to call the company to see who can service it. They couldn't/wouldn't help me find someone to service it! Guess now that they have my money, I'm on my own. Would never go back there again. UPDATE: Closest certified American Whirlpool service center wants to charge me $471 for travel expense. I have messaged this company to ask for help since they assured me they would still service the hot tub we bought and I never heard back from them (that was over a week ago. I also called the Brandon location to see if I could get some help and all I got was "I'm sorry!". No offer to help in any way. I hope others will see this before deciding to do business with these people.

Cara the owner, was very gracious and advised she would have Ben, her husband, come out and look at the spa pump. Ben came and looked at the pump and felt confident it could be repaired. He ordered the necessary parts and indicated he would let us know when it came in. In the meantime, we mentioned to the pool builder doing the resurfacing that we had contacted Dutchcraft Services to repair the pump. Marty, from US Pools without us asking, stated that Ben does great work and he also recommended them. How cool was that? Ben completed the work. we had a hiccup, not because of anything Ben had done wrong, but the company putting the pebble sheen had plugged the spa to avoid material going into the pipe. They unplugged it and the spa pump works like a charm!! The best part, Ben's price was very reasonable! We are sooo happy with it and we are using the spa more than we ever have! I love this family owned business, they care and are meticulous with their work. Even though I hope we don't have another broken pump, it is reassuring to know Dutchcraft does great work and they are trustworthy and I can contact them should we ever need.. David and Denise

We interviewed 6 pool installation companies, and the one that heard, listened, and created the most appropriate solution for us was Hollywood Pools and Spas. They built a pool and patio that have met our needs perfectly. We have a new pool within the shell of the old (35x15) pool, deep enough for vertical water aerobics (6'3" instead of 8') and an adequate size to accommodate whatever and whoever!! The Hydrazzo finish is beautifully smooth, and the Shellock pavers promise us many years of worry-free living. They need no sealing and complement the bronzy tones of the back of our house. A major concern for us was storm generated water coming in the back of our house and screened porch (slightly downhill from the pool). 4" drains liberally installed were the perfect solution to sending water to the side yards. We experienced no serious water-related problems from Hurricanes Debby, Helene or Milton. Yes, there were some hiccups, but all concerns were suitably resolved. Thank you Ron, Joe, Jessica, Chad, Tanner and all the related subcontractors. That was the year that was!! One of the most valuable parts of this process is the fact that the "salesman" you speak with initially is involved in the process all the way through to the end.

We trusted Pinch A Penny on 9th Street to maintain pools at two homes that were often vacant. They continued billing us and claimed the pools were being serviced, but our cameras, neighbors, and family confirmed otherwise. At one property, no one came for about six weeks, even though we were sent pictures pretending the service had been completed. When family stayed at the homes for two weeks, neither pool was serviced once. One pool was found green, several feet low, and with the pool light hanging out. At another property, a defective pool-fill device they installed leaked approximately 1,500 gallons, killing plants and damaging landscaping. We only discovered it after the water company contacted us.btw a few weeks before my parents but a hose pool fill which they returned bc it was defective. Then weeks later I get one from them and they don't test it and connect it. Pretty coincidental. There has been no accountability, no meaningful response from the owner, and no effort to resolve the damage. In our experience, they took advantage of the fact that the homes were vacant, billed for work that was not performed, and were dishonest about it. We will be pursuing recovery of our damages through other means.

In one trip, Ben diagnosed the problem and made the repair. Fast forward to the present, when we came back from a trip, I noticed that although the water was heating, it was nowhere near the higher temperature range. I tried to troubleshoot it myself, then gave up and gave Ben a call. On the phone, he was able to figure out the likely cause and told me to try out his solution. Lo and behold, it worked! Nothing was fixed but the entire wall exposing the motor was left on the ground broken into several pieces. It would be 4 weeks before he returned leaving the motor and broken wall exposed to the elements. Ben claimed he was "out of town" during this time~right in the middle of this job! Before he returned he contacted us and asked if he "accidentally" left the new jets inside the hot tub and asked if we could check. Sure enough they were there. This meant that during his entire first visit he removed 10 screws from the wall and left them on the ground with the now broken wall. We were quoted a price of $450. He returned and said he replaced the jets and left the broken wall stating that now that he had to repair the wall that he broke he would have to return and charge for additional materials. 2 days later we filled the hot tub to discover the jets still leaking. Upon his return he claimed that other jets were now leaking and we would be better off replacing the hot tub in its entirety. He then instructed us on how WE could repair the wall of the hot tub that HE broke. In a nutshell~it took Ben 6 weeks to attempt to repair service on our hot tub and all he did successfully was break the wall of our hot tub. He was not able to repair anything and suddenly the quote rose to $500. This of course was in addition to the $125 service charge that he was originally paid. Stay away from this company completely! One star is not low enough. Considering going to the Better Business Bureau and requesting a refund for work that was not completed and and unrepaired damages that he himself caused.
