I cannot express how amazing the customer service we have received from this business. From the moment we went through the door to just a couple of days ago when we finally finished paying for our unit and scheduled our delivery date. Now, we did not put this unit on layaway. I don't know if they do that, but we did tell Alejandro, the owner, that we were having some projects done at the house before we could get the unit delivered and he graciously agreed to postpone the delivery and not charge us any storage fees until we got everything sorted out. He was extremely patient and understanding with us and went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this business enough. Their products are modern and top-notch. I can't wait to get my Jacuzzi delivered and installed in a couple of days. He went through everything clearly and in detail. Their prices aren't the cheapest, but there is something for every budget.

We called and were quoted approximately $1,600 for the replacement. We then visited the store in person to confirm the price and schedule the installation. A few days later, we received a call offering an upgraded model for an additional $400. We clearly declined and stated that we wanted to stay within the price range we had originally been quoted. We communicated this multiple times throughout the process. After the installation was completed, we were surprised to receive a bill for $2,000 before tax. When we questioned the charge, we were told that a better model had been installed. However, we never agreed to upgrading the system. After expressing our concerns, they reduced the price by $100, but we still ended up paying over $2,000 with tax--significantly more than the original quote. Our main issue is the lack of transparency. We were not informed that a more expensive unit was being installed until after the work was completed. Had we known beforehand, we could have made an informed decision.. We had been considering using Chappy's for a future Diamond Brite resurfacing project, but after this experience, we will be looking elsewhere.

My experience with Superb Pools was an absolute nightmare. My pool was left in worst condition than…read morethey found it in. Avoid at all costs!! We moved into a new home that had a saltwater pool and wanted some work done, as well as find a company for regular cleanings. We wanted to have the pool light replaced, as well as have the tiles acid washed and the surrounding brick pavers cleaned. I was given a quote on Tuesday, and told that if I could approve and pay deposit by Wednesday, the work could be completed that week. We went ahead and approved the quote, as well as paid the 50% deposit. Thursday morning the work began on schedule and things appeared to be going well. We were told the pool needed to be drained below the light, but they drained the entire pool instead. It was initially not a big deal, but when they called and asked us to approve additional work since the pool was already drained, I should have realized then how this company does business. Thursday evening I received a text saying the pool was being filled overnight, and to give them an update in the morning so they could come back and finish up. I sent a text with a picture around 9:00 am. By about 1:00 pm when I had not received any response, I called and texted again. No response again. Finally someone responded and said they would be there by 3:00 pm. I received a call at 3:00 pm stating they were picking up the sealant and on their way. Someone arrived around 3:45 pm and put several bags of salt and chemicals into our pool. I could immediately tell that it was WAY too much salt, as it created a rim around the entire pool. The individual left about 10 minutes later with our pool looking absolutely terrible... lots of dirt and debris, a salty rim formed all around the pool, and the machine beeping saying there was way too much salt. I assumed they were coming back and would not leave their customers' pool like this over the weekend. Especially when they said the work would be done this week! After about an hour, I reached out with pictures and videos asking when this was going to be corrected. I sent numerous texts, phone calls, and emails over a two hour period. Finally someone responded and told me that this was completely normal and that the salty rim would be filtered out, and that the rest of the work would be done the following week! Keep in mind the machine was telling me our pool had twice the safe limit. I'm not sure whether they just do not know how to service a saltwater pool, or if they are just that negligent, but this company should not be trusted in your home. They also had the audacity to send me a bill for work that I had to hire another company to come out and fix/ complete. Our new company was APPALLED at the condition our pool was left in and has encouraged us to report them to the State. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.

They damaged our salt chlorine generator, drained our pool without permission, put 3x the maximum amount of salt allowed by the generator, and blatantly lied about the service they performed. My pool and pavers was left dirtier than it was before they started the job, and we have had to hire another company and spend money to fix their negligence and mistakes. We filed a credit card dispute with American Express, and they are attempting to illegally workaround the dispute by hiring a third party collections/ lien to threaten us. We have hired a lawyer and gotten law enforcement involved for this matter, as this is highly fraudulent. Many many items for $2! We found two pieces that called our name. On the wall are more jewelry items -- bracelets and necklaces. All next to a case of "real" (more expensive items). They also had some interesting furniture pieces and decorative items. They are busy! The people there are quite nice and they obviously have many repeat visitors... and they get new items often. On Saturday (I think I heard that right 7/4) they are having a big sale except on new items and mattresses. But even if you miss the sale, the prices are decent. Well worth a visit... -------/////////------////-----/--- We tried to find this thrift store about 10 days ago. After following the gps, we wound up by a grassy plot and some (relatively) new apartments. We figured that maybe they had moved or been replaced since we'd put this store on our "to visit" list. Later, we realized that perhaps the address or the pin for the address had been placed wrong. Today, we followed our hunch and went into the shopping center where the old Penn Dutch market used to be. Aha! We found the store north of the old market and south of Donna's Caribbean restaurant. Unfortunately, they've changed their hours and are now closed on Sundays and Mondays. ( I've sent a picture of the hours to Yelp to correct). We did peek into the front of the store and their windows. Looks like a place we'd like to come back to....

They sell used and new furniture and an assortment of other items including $2 jewelry and housewares. The jewelry didn't call to me but in the back I found a few items that took me back to my childhood. The had a Light Brite (a more modern version than the one I owned) and a Simon. I was interested in them but they were marked more than what I wanted to pay. The lite brite was $14 and the Simon was $10. After some back and forth haggling with Shelia I was able to take both for $8. They are now delighting a new generation of kids at summer camp. I didn't know if they worked when I purchased them but I am happy to report that they are both functioning. Another item I was interested in was a puzzle but it was marked $10. I recently picked up puzzles for the kids for $2 at other thrift stores so I passed. I think their prices are high but if there is something you want, present your offer. They seem willing to work with you.
