2 years ago I tried their pizza via takeout. Due to the pandemic, I've ordered from here twice and I must say their pizza is still delicious. I have tried the philly cheese steak which is also very tasty and filled with a lot of meat. I was surprised as it was much better than I expected. I rather order the cheese steak here than Hungry Bear as Pina's steak is seasoned well and flavorful. Also, the carbonara pasta is also delicious. It is a lot more saucey than an authentic carbonara but it is still very good. Pizza was good no complaints. We got the pizza special which was two slices and a drink for $5. They charge .50 per topping you would like extra on the pizza. Pizza was thin and crispy very fresh just wasn't exciting. It was a great value at $5. I gave it three stars because they were average. Great family style service read more

First time coming to place and it was flat out amazing! Everything about this place was a good experience. The place itself isn't that big with about 10 tables more or less and the kitchen to your right. The good part is that you get to see them make the food right then and there, but the bad part is that if you're sitting in the first few tables the oven is right there and it could get hot. What I recommend is to sit further back where the oven isn't hitting so hard. The customer service is amazing in this place the owner herself will greet you, take your order, and even make the pizza. She was super nice and very attentive. Can't say enough good things about the customer service. Now all of this doesn't matter if the food wasn't good right? Well it wasn't... it was amazing! The rolls were the standard size rolls, but they taste amazing. They put actual garlic and oil on their rolls ( you'd be surprised how many places don't do this.) Afterwards, I ordered out of curiosity "pizza fries" which are fries layered with what I believe is mazorella cheese, pepperoni, and little bits of bacon. I'm not big on French fries, but these were very good! Afterwards, came the moment of truth which was a medium size cheese pizza. The pizza was delicious the crust was crunchy, it had a good balance of sauce and cheese, and the sauce was just delicious and was definitely not a sauce you get out of a can. The pizza is very similar to my favorite local pizza place just with a little less crisp. In conclusion, I will definitely go here again whenever I'm in the neighborhood and will probably try their Sicilian pizza since it's new on the menu and I haven't really had a amazing Sicilian style pizza. read more

Ordered Pina's pizza for lunch the other day. I had the chicken parm sub (with no cheese) and my wife and son shared the cheese pizza. I very much enjoyed my sub. It was a nice size, and I thought the red sauce was pretty good. My wife and son both really liked the pizza too. We also ordered a half dozen garlic rolls, and I thought those were excellent. No frills place right next to a cool arcade. The pizza was great but it's getting five stars mostly for the "Tropical Pizza" I ordered. It's a pizza with plantains and bacon on it, nothing else. I'm not even a huge fan of plantains, much less on a pizza, so I ordered half of the pizza to be pepperoni but what a mistake that turned out to be. Neither my girlfriend nor I wanted to touch the pepperoni slices after hesitantly trying a slice of the tropical. We ended up fighting over the last slice and then sadly moping around the rest of the night regretting the decision to only get half tropical. I highly recommend it especially if you're adventurous and want a unique flair to your pizza. The pepperoni was great too don't get me wrong. The crust was well cooked. Firm yet soft, not like biting into a cracker but it didn't fall apart when you picked it up either. Sauce was tasty and good consistency, not watery. The garlic rolls were good although they were a little heavy on the oil for my taste. Great place overall, super friendly and accommodating staff as well.
