We recently adopted a new puppy and decided to take the PetSmart Training course. If you are reading this, you know that puppy training is as least as much about the human as the canine. Karen worked well with both. She has a great understanding of dog behavior and did a good job with us as well. The class was small (only 2 puppies) and so attention was very individualized. With prior puppies, we have taken group classes with reputable local organizations. Karen's class was superior, and we are very pleased with how she has helped us train our dog.

HOWEVER..... we recently got a puppy and had such a terrible experience with Off Leash K9 that we were so desperate for training classes and decided to give it a try. LET ME TELL YOU--- Ms Renee is literally the best thing that's happened to us. These classes are only $129, what a steal!! Our puppy is learning more from these 1-hour classes than he did in 2 weeks with Off Leash K9 Training (which was $1400 and a nightmare to deal with afterwards). I still refuse to use the Grooming Salon here because I was very unhappy with how the store manager responded to my experience, so skip the salon and go to training with Ms Renee!!

Melissa and Stacey were his primary caregivers. They looked after our sweet boy with such care, showering him with love and treats while we were at work. They always sent the sweetest pictures of him and updated us with how he was doing. On two occasions BCPS looked after him while we were out of town. They accommodated our timeframe requests for the number of visits we wanted him to have, administered his medication, catered to his picky eating habits, and showered him with lots of love. BCPS always had excellent communication and put us at ease when we were on trips. When our boy passed away last year, BCPS grieved along with us and sent the sweetest sympathy card in the mail. It meant so much. When the time is right, we will adopt another dog and will absolutely work with BCPS again. They are amazing.

She was awesome, and I felt so comfortable leaving her organization in charge. Jenn was our assigned sitter and she went above and beyond! Our dog loved her (I could tell by the amazing photos she shared on every visit!) and she was great about communication. She took into consideration his special needs and cared for him so well! I had bought a few odds and ends from this local shop but hasn't sought out advice; I figured after spending hundreds of dollars on tests and having minimal luck with veterinary diets, I'd reach out to the locals. We have struggled with liquid poops for so long now that after speaking with the owners (who took the time to listen and ask their own questions) we were less than optimistic about another suggestion of a change in diet. However, this time it WORKED. Andie has been on the Zignature Kangaroo diet for a few weeks now and we have seen nothing but consistent solid poops. These guys are legit! And I feel so much better giving my money to a local business rather than dishing out money to the big corporations. The Other End of the Leash has gained a lifetime customer and completely turned me off of veterinary diets. I LOVE our vet but I'll be seeking out the advice of these guys before dishing out more money on tests and grain filled diets.

Emma definitely had a great time looking/sniffing through the selections and I find that is the true test of a good pet boutique...if the clientele is interested! Finding a good groomer is difficult and finding one in the Covid era that didn't have a two month waiting list even harder but they were able to get me in in just over a week. I've never tried a mobile groomer before but I liked that they came to you and they could meet your dog on their territory and you can even walk them into their grooming mobile to get them settled. It's a nice set up that runs on a generator and they have their own water so no hook up needed. Our groomer was Lindsay and she was really sweet and Liesel probably would have gone home with her. About an hour or so, she was washed, groomed and she managed to cut her nails which is not easy because she hates it with a passion. She smells good, looks good and you can see her pretty puppy dog eyes now. I have no problem recommending this service unequivocally. Clippendales to the rescue!
