I believe…read morethat they are the best in Raleigh - family owned with reasonable prices and excellent service. They are also easy to find, centrally located in North Raleigh. It's important to know that they are frequently booked out 4-6 weeks. So when you make an appointment, allow some time to see them because they are very popular. And well worth the wait! I have two dogs (a Cavachon and an English Cocker Spaniel) which require frequent grooming. I am very particular about their grooming and they always look great! I also appreciate the fact that my pups love to go there which gives me great peace of mind. All About Pets is owned by Joyce who is dedicated to providing the best care for your dog. Joyce is highly experienced, detail oriented, very kind and truly cares about you and your dog. She keeps thorough and accurate records about each detail of your dog's grooming. Each grooming session is custom made just for your dog. The groomers are excellent, too - very thorough and experienced. They also provide detailed report cards summarizing each visit. They provide ear cleaning, expression of anal glands, nail grinding and de-matting during each visit. I like the fact that my dogs have the same groomer for each visit which maintains consistency. You can also drop off supplies there to support local dog shelters. I am very grateful to Joyce and her groomers for the wonderful care that they provide. Always a great experience for me and my dogs!

Also, what a cute business name?! have heard good things about Woof Gang in the past and when I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the table display of homemade treats. The two women working let me know that the treats are made fresh, in-house every day, which I wasn't expecting! I don't remember their names, but they were super friendly and helpful. They have 2 locations in the Raleigh-area, I believe. The parking in Cameron Village isn't always the greatest, but depending on the time you show up, you may still be able to snag a spot in front of the building. We walked away with a few frosted treats, a bag of their brand's treats, and a duck head (we heard these were so popular!). I think the prices were pretty fair considering this is a gourmet pet shop/groomer but did read a sign that said prices would be changing come 2021. I would definitely come back again! I'm so glad I checked Woof Gang out!

On two separate occasions, my dog came home with injuries--once with her paws cut too short to the point that she required veterinary attention, and another time with an injury near her eye. Despite giving the business the benefit of the doubt after these incidents, I continued to try their services. After booking a future appointment, I was then called and informed that they would be cancelling and no longer providing services for my dog moving forward. While I understand any business can choose to discontinue service, the decision felt abrupt given the history of prior incidents and lack of resolution or discussion. Overall, I am disappointed with both the safety experience and the way the situation was handled. I would not feel comfortable recommending this groomer to others.

He pulled on the leash, barked at the door, and had bouts of aggression when he didn't get his way. I felt uneasy having guests over because I felt like I had no control over my dog. Basically, my dog owned me.. not vis versa. He did ~2 weeks of the board and train program at SMS Raleigh and even though we were nervous to send him away (it felt like forever!), we loved getting bi-weekly updates from his trainer and seeing his progress. Training Ollie will always be a work in progress but the biggest different we have seen is that HE LISTENS! Hallelujah. My friends come over and say they see a huge difference in him - he's calm, sweet, and charming. He is still a dog.. he does bark at the mailman, and sometimes pulls on the leash, but if we correct him, he is happy to obey. I also love the fact that we have free access to the group classes 2x a week and have the opportunity to continue training him. Overall, we are very happy with his progress and we are dedicated to continue training him with the SMS methods.

Colby the owner explained it best to me when he said "It's not about punishment, it's about attention and boundaries. Dogs want to please their owners, so once you have their attention their instinct takes over and training becomes easier. The strides and response to this training are remarkable. So pleased with the results so far. I am happy and more importantly my dog is happy. We have only had 3 private whole day training sessions, and tonight we will attend our first group training. Looking forward to this as it can only help build on the foundation established in the private 3 lessons. The training is not inexpensive, however it cheaper than replacing carpet not to mention several pairs of shoes, baseboards ETC. I recommend sitting down with Colby or any of the other trainers and let them explain why this works. You won't have any regrets. Rick W

We have never had a problem and feel completely comfortable leaving our 'kids' there. Joan sends us a short video of our pups each day so that we can see they are having A BALL while we are missing them from far away. Joan does a great job watching after the dogs. She is a friendly and wonderful person. I can't imagine being more comfortable leaving my dogs with anyone else. And the property is beautiful! Joan only takes in a limited number of dogs at any one time (I think the number is 6 or 8) so each dog gets plenty of attention. The sleeping quarters are clean and each dog has a large area to relax in. Outside there is a HUGE fenced in area that used to be used for horses that the dogs now use to run and play with each other. It's tough to judge a dog camp the first time you see it. Everything may look great and you may have read a review or have been referred by a friend, but you never really know. Its only on the second visit that you get a real indication as to how well the a dog camp treats its guests and you get that indication FROM YOUR DOG. Nowadays we can't get within a half mile of Buzzy's before our dog starts jumping around and singing excitedly in the back of our truck. In short, our dog LOVES to visit Buzzy's Bark-n-Run! Then at the end of the visit I think our pup is actually disappointed to see us when we show up to pick her up! The bottom line is that dogs don't want to leave Buzzy's! Her understanding of dogs is amazing--she was able to correctly assess the personality of our Roxie within two minutes of meeting her--and when Roxie seemed stressed at night, Joan was able to find a solution that calmed her and made her a happier camper. Joan also helped to reduce our stress by giving us text updates and sending us videos of Roxie romping with other campers. After looking at other boarding places with metal crates on concrete floors in giant warehouses, seeing Buzzy's immediately felt like coming home, with fields of green grass for Roxie to run on, and chickens and donkeys for her to watch and bark at. (So, I guess Roxie did fulfill both parts of the "bark" and "run" promise of the camp.) Joan is no-nonsense, the way you want in someone caring for your loved pet...but she is also obviously in love with all the creatures on her farm. Roxie came home happy, healthy, and worn-out. We are thrilled to have found Buzzy's, and we will definitely be boarding Roxie here again.

Super friendly and helpful staff and extremely reasonable prices ($110 for an XL? dog: mini groom/teeth brushed and clipped nails included)l. My dog is usually between 105-110 lbs).
