Today driving home around 4:00 PM the lady behind the counter seemed like I was such an inconvenience. As I approached the counter she was standing there in her phone. She didn't even say Hi. I bought a couple items and also got gas. Told the woman to have a good day and she didn't even respond. Again I know it's a gas station so I don't expect much but seriously basic communication skills could help.

I look down and see my gas indicator is creeping to the right and gravity wants to bring it down. But I, foolishly, make the decision to drive pass this station and skip the fill up because I'm tired. I have to let the dog out. I'm hungry. I gotta pee! I just want to get home! So, I tell myself, "I'll leave 5 mins early in the morning to get gas." Next morning rolls around...... oh shizzle, I'm late. I scramble outta bed and get dressed because I have an 8am meeting and I barely have enough time to get there! Jump in the car, open the garage and pull off to work from my house thinking, "I can make it to the parking lot by 8, so I'll be 2 or 3 mins late. Then something in my brain signals, "Look at your gas hand." I look down and suddenly the memory of the rush to get home the night before roars back into my thoughts! That DAMN gas light is on. W. T. F. was I thinking last night. I gotta get gas now. I pull in to this convenience store in a rush and in comes the irony that smacks me in the face? Convenience? I think not. A crowded gas station where I have to wait for a pump almost every weekday is no convenience my friend. On a good day though, clean and friendly people. Gas is always there. Cold water in the cooler. Smell of coffee. It's good enough for me on my commute. Just stop calling it a convenience store! ;-)

This location is pretty dirty and has graffiti. Personally, I think a skip in the future as I noticed gas cheaper at other locations as well. Lastly, they put a $300 HOLD ON MY COMPANY CARD! I only spent $11 and now there is a $300 hold on my trip budget. Ridiculous to put a $300 hold. Maybe $100, but who uses $300 worth to justify that amount of a hold?!

(Just to be clear the one on the corner of Price Rd and Queen Creek.) I grabbed 6 "tall boy" beers and went to the cash register. I saw no employees so I stood there and waited for at least a minute. Out of nowhere an employee just popped up from behind the counter. Almost like she was hiding, not working. It sounded like she was talking on her bluetooth earpiece. She walked up, scanned the beers, waited until the payment from my card went thru, ( which was painfully slow) and then even slower proceeded to grab the smallest plastic bag I've seen at Circle K. This entire time she did not say a single word to me. Looking back I wish she had kept it that way. At this point, yes I was slightly irritated while she slowly put the beers in the tiny bag. She finally got done and just stood there waiting for me to reach to her side of the counter and get the bag. I must have had a look on my face that was a mixture of annoyance and confusion that she thought that little bag was going to be able to hold that amount of weight. I said "Umm could you double bag that?" So even more slowly she starts and I heard her say, "Why you gotta look at me like that?" I said, "I'm sorry, what?" She replied, "Most people are happy with one bag or they just ask for a second one, so why you gotta look at me like that?" I said nothing until she finally got done, I grabbed the bags and as I started to leave I said, "Maybe it's because you've been incredibly rude this entire time." I could hear her audibly huffing as I walked out. I really wish I had taken the opportunity to read her name tag during the sloth like transaction but sadly I didn't. So all I can do now is warn others and hope that one day her boss realizes that this woman should NEVER be in a job where you have to deal with the public.

I had just been to a…read moredifferent t location 15 minutes earlier for a drink and didn't realize my gas was as low as it was. So when I saw the sign for this location I quickly exited the freeway to fill my tank. The location is right off the exit which was great since I was in a bit of a time crunch to get home. I was able to get gas pretty quick. Unfortunately the location including the lot is quite filthy . The parking lot is a cluster and I had a hard time pulling back out to the street since there was really only one exit and too many trucks/cars etc coming in and trying to leave. Service was decent, but man this place needs some attention and a better exit plan.
