I know it's fast food but customer service is important and makes a big difference. A mad pre-breakfast dash up the Black Canyon Freeway (AKA I-17) brought us to Cordes Junction. We peeped into McDonald's on our October Saturday morning. A herd of humans milling around an ordering touchscreen, the nearest human employee face Far Far Away. We returned to the car, crossed the street to Pilot, got a reasonably priced sausage biscuit and small coffee served with a wide. bright smile, ate at an indoor table and visited the pre-drive facilities with zero pain and effort. Fuel prices and fuel are beyond best if you have a PFJ rewards that's an extra 10¢ off every time you fuel up. Not just once a month or week or after fueling. So definitely worth it! Restroom for the men's is horrible and outdated they sit in the middle of the PFJ and Subway so it's just awkward They do have a Tesla charger setup And for some reason they are almost always out of stock for water. Suggest going up to loves if you want water. read more

Worst Pilot I've ever been to. How can you be a travel center with no bathroom access (states broken low water pressure) fountain drinks had no flavoring all buttons just dispensing carbonated water, coffee acidic and no creamer etc . My husband left the coffee area and opted for a refrigerated drink. I'm not sure if the man working nearby didn't realize we were all together, but he began to talk to another worker asking if the guy with the coffee left and insinuated maybe he tried to take it free or something. I called him out and said you mean this guy right here. After obviously being embarrassed and us standing there with snacks and bottled sodas he apologized and said he was talking about someone else. Regardless if true or not that's how you treat customers? How about focus on all that's wrong here. We'll stick to the Loves Station here on out. read more

Very busy Better than nearby options The intersection to enter the gas station is a bit challenging. It's a large 4-way stop but people seem to not actively stop which was a bit nerve wracking, especially because there's congestion entering the parking/ gas area. This is clearly a popular stop because it's very busy! All the gas pumps were taken though there wasn't a long wait. There's plenty of parking in general and handicap spots up front. The interior is a bit small and so are the bathrooms. The women's bathroom is average- acceptably clean but quite outdated. There's 4 stalls and a handicap stall. They seem to have the usual selection of snacks plus there's a subway with seating. Overall it's a a fine stop. They actively don't sell hand sanitizer which is a bit weird read more

I've been falsely charged by Pilot for the very last time. Their scam of charging my credit card for the actual amount of the sale and then charging my card right AFTER that transaction with an unauthorized charge of $151 is simple credit card fraud. I will drive 1/4 of a mile further down to road to go to Loves rather than support this cricked business practice. And @ Pilot Flying J corporate who may be tempted to respond saying that it's just "a hold" BS. Holds come before charges not after. Large spacious area with multiple pumps for trucks and cars. The mini mart has a subway. Right outside there is also Tesla super chargers! The bathroom is large, clean with plenty of toilet paper and hand towels. This gas station is right across from Chevron, and prices is cheaper by $0.40. Come here instead. Bought milk and $40 worth of stuff and the Night Shift guy wouldn't let me get sugar not the packets not the ones u open by the coffee I had really low blood sugar and needed to get some in my system so I just left down the road I almost fainted pulled over called emergency sitting on side waiting now slowly passing out ect just cuz one guy didn't let me get free sugar at the truck stop I even said I'll pay for it !!!?? I don't get people like that I could have crashed if I didn't have time to pull over.. no wonder he's an old dude working as a cashier doesn't have the brains to get a better paying job read more

My friend and I stopped here midway on our trip to the Grand Canyon. As far as rest stops go, this is a pretty great place. There was plenty of room to gas up, the shops inside were well maintained and affordable, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Inside there is also a Subway so you can get a quick bite to eat if you are hungry. The prices aren't the best, but it's fine for what it is. Those on a longer road trip than ours can obtain some unique cultural items in the gift shop at an affordable price as well. Otherwise, it's a solid place overall! read more

Don't go here if you want a $50 "processing" fee in your account for the next 5 days. Employee inside was very rude about it and said "it'll go away in a few minutes." we waited there half an hour and it didn't go away. best we could do was to continue on our road trip & the charge disappeared after a few days. $20 tank of gas turned to $70. should've just gone to a gas station that we were familiar with. read more

I was harassed by patrons and employees for asking the patrons to wear a mask. The fact the employees berated me was the worst.

Great place to stop! They have a lot of gas pumps and a huge variety of items inside the store. The bonus is that they are the cheapest place so far on my drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix. Robert is the nicest employee I have ever met at a gas station. We had a great conversation and he makes the atmosphere inviting and happy! They do not care about customers and they do not care if you have an item to return when the manager is not present and they absolutely do not care that inconvenience you in the slightest and they cannot give you one decent excuse all you get is" it's the managers store and he makes the rules" if that isn't the most childish b.s.
