Stopped to get fuel for my transportation device (SUV) before heading down the long black pathway (road) to my destination! The pitstop was full of bipedal beings (humans) and their animal counterparts (pets) so I figured that I might as well let my four legged daughter (puppy) out to explore their animal cage with grass (dog park) We had just had a 4 day rain storm that flew into town and caused a couple fatalities with flash floods. Needless to say I was surprised to see a LAKE (overflow reservoir) at the pitstop. My daughter wanted to go play in the water. Even though it was cold outside! She had a blast!! It was the first time she has ever seen a lake! It was great fun! Elation ran through us like a lightening bolt! read more

We are roadtrip people and love Love's, and Maverick's the most. They are the cleanest, and are always fully stocked, no matter what state we're in. They are well kept. This one is the one we probably stop by the most, and have never had any issues. read more

Quick stop in to weigh at the CAT scale and relieve ourselves and grab some refreshing drinks. Bathrooms clean and supplied well. Merch was well stocked as well and prepared foods were ready to eat and looked delicious. Didn't find any out of dates on fresh foods. One item to note for visitors is their ice machine is broken in the main Loves area; however they were very quick to apologize and explain that they have a new unit but it has to be installed on the roof. And seeing how it is 115 outside, we can wait. Arby's has an ice machine so hit it up! read more

This Love's station is only about a year old. Everything is still clean, and is in good working order. Lots of snacks to choose from. If looking for more than just snacks, there are a couple of restaurants inside as well. There are not many stops out this way. Essential items such as oil and washer fluid are available here. Area outside is clean. Jumping back on the freeway is quick and easy from this location. This gas station isn't far from Arcosanti. read more

We pulled in to Love's Travel Stop because I noticed that there was smoking coming out from under the hood. We went in to buy coolant to fill the reservoir up. Robert in the auto parts went above and beyond to help patch our radiator issue so that we could drive home and not pay for a tow truck. It would've been a 90 mile tow. read more

First time at a Love's and I'm so glad it was this location. Everything was clean and organized--I was especially impressed by the organization and variety of the coffee station. Got some hot food too and only spent $8! Two separate employees asked us how our day was going, and were incredibly friendly. We had been on the road quite a while due to a five car accident and this was the first stop we saw that we were able to exit at. Not only does it hold an Arby's, pizza; it has clean restrooms, souvenirs and plenty of gas pumps. We were able to get some supplies Incase we got stuck in the car even longer and filled up the tank for a decent price. The location was clean and service friendly. read more

I pass by a lot going back and forth, I enjoy stopping by here. Friendly and clean. Coffee is good too.

We had to take aunt Judy to get her hot tea fix on the way to water-therapy. Surprisingly good and reliable quality and selection of hot teas for a convenience store. My daughter also loves them. The coffee quality is so-so however, (but it is a convenience store after all). But lots of other beverages in the case to choose from when road-tripping. The above and clean restrooms and a decent selection of healthy-ish snacks depending on the location keep us as stopping in. The pumps are generally maintained. Mostly friendly staff. read more

My wife and I head to Northern Arizona a couple times a year to escape California (hopefully someday it'll be a permanent trip) and I usually time our drive, so that our refueling stop is in Phoenix; however, on our way home this trip we decided to stop in Arcosanti at this new Love's travel stop. Although it's new, so you'd expect cleanliness, I was still very pleased with the layout of the facility. The entrance for cars and trucks are clearly delineated and getting to Love's is very easy regardless of if you're heading North or South on I17. One of the coolest things I thought was the fenced in dog park. Although we don't bring our dogs with us, I thought this was very cool and considerate of those traveling with four-legged friends. I enjoyed the wide selection of items however, the clerk wasn't helpful. I asked for a disposable vape and he gave me carts for a whole different set up. The words, "disposable vape" are not that difficult to understand or to read on a box. Good thing I noticed before I drove off. I went back inside for a refund and was told "too bad"...mind you the package was still sealed. So just make sure you double check what you buy because apparently, reading is not a required skill for working here. read more

Super clean restrooms and store all together. This station is 9 miles north of sunset point rest area. For us, we do the trip from phx to flag 2-3 times a year so sunset point is only used as a rest area as the views are still the same. Now that we know this loves is here and has an Arby's and pizza joint we will most likely be skipping the sunset rest area and driving straight to loves. Bathrooms are way more suitable for little kids plus they have everything from food, souvenirs, electronics and toys for kids! If you are traveling with your 4 legged friends they have a dog park here with grass to let your friends stretch and do their business without burning their paws on rocks or concrete. read more

The one word I can use to describe this business is WOW! As soon as I entered I was greeted with " welcome to Loves." The hustle was on!! It was a beehive. Everybody was smiling. I happened to find this by chance. I was driving on I 17 in the75 mph zone,through the mountains. I saw a warning light for low air pressure on my car. I panicked but kept driving until I found a town, and this truck stop. I went inside and asked for help. They were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The person assigned to help me checked all my tires and assured me that the air pressure was good in all of them. From that point on, I was able to drive to my destination in a relaxed state of mind. I feel very grateful to Loves. If I ever have a car related need, I will look for them. read more
