Check-in was smooth, and they communicated ahead of time by email that grip/Pilates socks were required. You could bring your own or purchase a pair there. I brought mine, but I was pleasantly surprised that the socks sold in the studio were reasonably priced. Fran welcomed us at the front desk, and Kristy guided us through the equipment and proper form. The class itself was interesting but definitely short. Even though the movements were simple, I could tell they were effective and targeted. Classes are offered by level, and the studio has memberships: 8 classes a month for $229 or unlimited for $260. Personally, the pricing feels a bit hefty, but it was still a really nice experience. I appreciated how laid-back they were when explaining the memberships--no pressure to sign up, which was refreshing compared to other fitness studios I've tried.

The class is only 30 minutes so i felt it was a bit rushed and the instructor seemed to be frustrated with us not understand some of her instructions as none of us have tried Pilates prior. Perhaps a longer intro class to accommodate better instruction would have made for a better experience. I have tailbone injury and was assured it wouldn't be aggravated by the movements using the reformer. Overall it was an experience worth trying, but not something I would sign up monthly for.

Ann Marie is such a warm, engaging, easy-going person and she sets the tone for the studio. Ann Marie is extremely knowledgable about yoga and how the human body works. She works hard to make sure that everyone is using what props they need to benefit from the practice given their individual bodies. She does a fantastic job of pacing her instruction.
