I got a free class because I am a first time pure barre member so I was entitled to get a weekly pass to take classes free for a week. I am a mom of a toddler and I work full time so chances are Saturday's class is the only one I'll get to before the pass expires. I loved my experience here. I can't really afford to pay membership but I can definitely take a class once in awhile for the $25 with my friend so I will probably be popping in once in awhile to take classes when my friend and I both have a chance or if I am able to go to one myself. They have amazingly cute work out clothes and pure barre grip socks for sale but unless you can get something from the sale rack it's a bit pricey. I will probably cave in one day and buy a pair of grip socks when I attend a class. My friend and I checked out the sale rack after the class was over and I bought a shirt that was on sale for $20. It was XS but it ran big and was definitely vanity sized so for my 147 pound body I was happy to fit into an XS something which I sometimes do when I wear lularoe! So I got a free class but pure barre still made almost the price of the class off me because I bought the shirt. The class was amazing the instructor I think her name was Caitlin (I most likely spelled it wrong) was so nice. She corrected my form without making me feel embarrassed. Besides the instructor there were two other pure barre teachers in the class so you were also able to watch them while taking the class. Everyone in the studio was so sweet and friendly. It was definitely a positive environment to work out in. I was expecting people to be a little snobby because pure barre is known to be a rich lady's work out but everyone was pretty nice. I will be back again for classes once in awhile and if I fall into money I'll be buying monthly memberships here I love pure barre! I'm hoping one day I can sign the bar for taking 100 classes! 99 more to go!

The overall…read morevibe here is something that everyone could easily get into- right from the first intro class. The lights and layout of the studio are gorgeous. Instructors are all friendly and helpful if you need extra attention. They ensure everyone knows what's going on before going onto the next move. Wednesday intro classes get pretty packed so I Saturday and Sunday intro classes are the way to go for anyone just starting out! Beth, Karen, Krystle, and Deanna have all been great instructors to me!

The instructors do a great job of giving you tips throughout the class to help you with your form. I love the music it's upbeat which is just the kind of music you need when your doing difficult moves and you sense your muscles getting fatigue. I'm going to try and come in the summer a few times. This is just what I need for the perfect summer body.

They did respond to my friend via IG (I don't use IG to communicate with businesses) and thought they'd respond to me via their work email account then but still no response. The instructor arrived a few minutes late the first time I went there (understandable, the weather was really bad and I don't blame her at all for that and would rather people be safe) but she didn't introduce herself and even though I wasn't the only new person there (she asked if anyone was new), she didn't approach any of us mid or after working out just to check in and see how we felt or give tips. It was my first time working out since the pandemic started and I was clearly behind so I would've liked an encouraging word or two. I wasn't expecting one on one training but an instructor acknowledging the new people is pretty normal. Even though this place wasn't for me, I still think it's a nice gym and saw they have a lot of dedicated clients who really love it there. I'm back and forth from the city due to work so maybe I would've stuck with it for another round of classes if I was here full time.

She is an advanced wellness practitioner who guides her class safely for those who are new to aerial style yoga and ending the class with a deep sound bath meditation makes me feel truly incredible every workshop I attend. I, myself have enjoyed massages, sauna sessions and a variety of yoga classes here and feel more calm and confident after each session. It was a decent class, but there was a lot of talking throughout, so I personally didn't find it that relaxing. I'm also new to yoga in general, but the instructor didn't help me at all when I had the wrong form or I didn't understand a term. This time, I walked up 10 minutes early to an older lady waiting outside of a locked door who greeted me by saying "I don't think there's a class today, I've been waiting for a while" I had double checked their instagram maybe an hour earlier to them saying there would be a class that day so again, no cancellation warning/ notice/ text, anything. I'm not even going to bother texting the owner again. It's a shame because I'd heard good things about this place and a couple people wanted to know how the classes here would be and these two experiences are all I have to share with them. Will be looking for another studio that has more courtesy (or maybe subs if a teacher has to cancel) because twice I have wasted my time showing up to a locked studio.
