It's located above Ramseys Kitchen and it's a small studio with mat Pilates rooms, chair Pilates, and reformer Pilates. The class sizes are small (max 8 people), which is fantastic compared to other places I've tried where the class sizes are much larger and there isn't a focus on technique and proper movement. It is a bit pricey for each class, but it's worth it because you'd be supporting a smaller, woman/POC owned business rather than a large chain. Highly recommend trying out a class!

There are women in there 20's all the way to 70's. The clients encourage one another and create friendships. The instructors encourage modifications when necessary and show you what to do to modify. I'm able to take classes via Class Pass and I love it. The staff is so friendly and what I particularly like is they never pressure you to create a membership with the franchise itself. Unfortunately, for many of my class pass classes that has been my experience. I get it, you want to build loyal customers but no one wants to be pestered. I have no issues being pestered here. You walk in, check in with front desk, put your belongings away, grab whatever materials you'll need for class that day and get settled in. No hassles. The classes are challenging but not impossible, which is exactly what I was looking for. Because of my work, I kinda just pick a day of the week that best works for me. Because of this I have had 3 different instructors and all have been phenomenal. They are patient, helpful, and knowledgeable! It's important to note that grippy socks are required for each class, they sell some at the facility, but it's probably cheaper to buy it via Amazon! The facility is always spotless and well taken care of, you are absolutely going to love this place!

I felt i didn't get the detailed instructions like remembering to keep my spine imprinted to the mat. little details that would have helped. I thought it was weird that they didn't have a formal changing area. Its a small room to put your things with a curtain but the curtain opens up to the studio. Its a beautiful studio I am currently a member at LifeTime fitness and they have a studio. If I lived closer to Geneva I would consider taking classes there.

I have been taking Agnes classes for 2 years ( took a break while pregnant ) and started back up a month post partum. In the beginner class, you can take it easy as you need if you're starting out and gradually add more to challenging yourself. She changes up her flow and class every week, so you are consistently working different areas of the body. I took yoga classes at random and used to feel it a slow boring waste of time more or less a relaxing class that does "stretching". I love to lift and do intense endurance cardio. It wasn't until going here consistently that I was blown away with the fitness aspect of yoga- the strength/flexibility/core stability/etc. involved. You will be challenged more than you possibly think and I promise the health benefits, both mentally and physically, will surprise you! I highly recommend Melt and the classes here. The aerial flow class is adaptable to all levels of strength and experience. Carrie breaks down poses and demonstrates to ensure all students understand the mechanics of each pose.
