I wanted to take the time to share my gratitude towards Ilkb Aurora. This is absolutely not an…read moreordinary gym. The staff feels like friends/ family, the workouts are always challenging, and the members are the most accepting and welcoming group of people. Here you are supported not only by the staff but also the members to reach your goals. There is not a day that I don't leave drenched in sweat and with a huge smile on my face. If you don't want to get bored, you want to look and feel better, and need some stress relief, this is the gym for you!

Be careful with what you sign. While some of the staff are nice, there is little honesty. The…read moredetails are in the contract so read all the fine print. Don't expect a refund and realize it is very difficult and costly to get out of a membership. This place draws you in on the 6 Week Challenge but it is all a money scam. The staff push the membership instead and offer you a flash drive with meal suggestions which they consider the nutritional offering. Maybe if you hesitate enough, they may even throw in a pair of gloves. But you pay for them too because you can't easily get your membership cancelled. The staff "forget" to cancel your membership or there is a paperwork error only to realize you are continuously being charged. I had to call my credit card company and tell them to block this charge in order to get it to stop. This was only after being charged an additional $200 "early cancellation fee." The whole thing is a money scam. I met very few people who were regular members and stuck with the exercise plan. In fact I witnessed health crises where people had to break from the class to rest or actually leave the facility only to be called out by the staff and humiliated for taking care of their own health. There is no acknowledgement of fitness and out of shape people are brought into rigorous classes with no regard for health and conditioning. It's a scary health situation that is a disaster in the making. I recommended the staff create leveled classes. For example, beginner to learn the fundamentals, middle to push the exercise, and advanced for the full out program. I was told this is not the place for that and if people couldn't keep up they shouldn't join. But clearly many out of shape people looking for a chance to get back into exercise are signed up with no regard for health and ability to keep up. There is a heart attack waiting at the door of this place. It is not worth it especially because there are many well respected and caring trainers available to work with people for far less the cost than this place. Think before you sign.

Disorganized & Frustrating Cancellation Process…read more I signed up in May for a $89/month membership after taking a free class. Unfortunately, I never made it back, so I submitted a cancellation request through their app about two months later. That's where everything went downhill. I received a vague one-line email saying my request was "initiated" but needed more information. I replied multiple times asking what was needed--no response. I called, left voicemails, and sent several text messages over the course of months. Still nothing. Meanwhile, I continued to be charged for August and September despite actively trying to cancel. I eventually had to stop payment through my bank. Even after that, I kept reaching out about using the credits I had already paid for. Every time, I was told "Rich will call you back." It took two more months to finally speak with him. Then I was told I only had 30 days post-cancellation to use my credits--something that was never disclosed when I signed up or during my attempts to cancel. Even worse, I was told the only way to use the credits I already paid for was to reactivate my membership and start paying again. To top it off, I found out my account had been sent to collections with no prior notice. This entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely avoidable with proper communication. Make sure you fully understand their cancellation policies--and get everything in writing--before signing up.

I received 2 minutes of one on one instruction about punching combos and then joined the class to be thrown into complicated, intermediate cardio regimens that quickly overwhelmed me. I am a larger girl, I am not in the best shape, nor am I very athletic. If you are like me and you are attempting to get your feet wet in a new fitness option, I don't recommend an intro class at Title Boxing club. There might be other boxing classes that are more beginner friendly and more adept at catering to beginner skill sets. Also, if you don't already own a pair, you will need to buy $10 hand wraps prior to starting class.
