I've always had good experiences. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Stuffed Pizza is a crowd pleaser, with nibbles of fresh chicken (not chicken steak) packed inside the pie, finished with chopped tomato and bacon, and a swirl of ranch dressing. My friends rave the same about the cheesesteak stuffed pizza. But last couple visits have been a lackluster experience with less chicken, less cheese, less bacon, less everything. It's not a cheap pizza, which has never been an issue because of the generous, high-quality preparation. But once it becomes just a doughy blank canvas, it's time to move on. The staff has always been friendly, and the ham puffs and side items good. But ultimately, I travel here for the unique preparation of this specific pizza. Piero Pizzarria is a shop that appears small on the outside but is quite spacious on the inside. Located on Bernville rd you can drive right by it if you drive too fast. As soon as you walk in the counter is right there to place your order with a large menu above it for viewing. There is a little step that leads you to the dining area and bathrooms. I ordered a mini chicken bacon ranch Stromboli and an orange soda. Both came up to less than $10. The food was hot, flavorful and filling. If you are looking for a great local take-out spot with pizzas, subs, and other Italian faire this is it. The pizza and sandwiches are excellent and reasonably priced. My personal favorites are the buffalo chicken pizza, cheesesteaks (both steak and chicken), and tuna hoagies. I have never had a meal that was anything short of delicious from this place. That said, the restaurant itself does not have a pleasant environment. I wouldn't plan on dining in, although you can. This is a place better reserved for take-out. read more

Service was good. I drove over here from Shillington because I wanted an Italian sandwich with their homemade rolls. Unfortunately, I think the recipe for the rolls has changed and so has their shape. They used to be flatter and oh so good. The pizzas are very large and inexpensive -- as pizzas go. Unfortunately, they are just ok in flavor. I did like the sauce on the traditional but the crust and the white pizza were flat tasting. Not much good flavor there. The french fries are absolutely atrocious -- probably the worst take out fries I've ever eaten. I do see how kids would like the pizza though -- but then again kids rate hot dogs and ketchup as 5 stars, don't they? I am still looking for great pizza in the area. read more

Three strikes your out!!! I only live one mile away so we would love to say this is a great place. Unfortunately, they've burnt us 3 times now. We order extra cheese on our pizzas and they do NOT put extra cheese on but, of course, they charge us for it. This final chance we gave them (2/27/22) they not only skimped on the add-ons but the pizzas were burnt. So basically we paid $44.00 for pizzas that absolutely tasted like cardboard. I mean not even edible burnt. My family has always bought the tuna sandwiches from here. They are so good! I love the bread and the tuna just so good. The bread is super fresh and has a nice chew to it, I can't explain it. The owner seems super nice and helpful. The pizza is also pretty delicious. Highly recommend if you're in the area. I love supporting local businesses and this is a hidden gem. 10/10 read more

I ordered a California cheesesteak, it was ok. I ordered a slice of there Buffalo chicken pizza, I couldn't finish it, it was different than what I was used to. One time I was there and I ordered a slice of pizza. I swear it tasted like imitation cheese, looked like it too. Then the next week I returned and got a slice of plain cheese pizza again just to see if it was imitation looking and tasting, and it wasn't, this time it looked and tasted like real cheese. Extremely disappointed, I don't know how many times that I have to tell a company what I would like on my food to be delivered to me, this is the second time this has happened, I specifically said extra dressing extra cheese and some utensils, it seems like they are in such a rush to get an order out that they don't look at the fine print of things, it was supposed to be a caesar salad with grilled chicken instead I got a Caesar salad with cold chicken not even grilled, and worst I use the app slice which they are on so that I could conveniently pay for my order and write what I want but obviously no one is looking at it other waiting for is the money. Long time customer, proud to call these guys my hometown pizzeria. They make an excellent pizza, the staff are very friendly, and the pricing is reasonable. These are a few of my thoughts: Location- located right off of RT183 in Bern township next to the Audi dealership, the location is excellent. Parking and traffic will be a challenge as the location sits close to the road, making it a challenge to enter and exit during the rush hour after normal working hours. Parking lines in the lot are faded, but you are able to make out the spots. There is a ramp for handicapped patrons. Inside the spot- Entering the pizzeria, you are greeted by the beautiful aromatic smell of freshly made pizza, sandwiches and calzones. The interior is in need of a design refresh (though not indicative of their product quality by any means!). The staff are friendly, and will greet you while they hustle around filling orders, and place your order. The most efficient method is the call ahead for pickup. They bring forth your delicious meal and off you go! The pizza- my household order usually includes two of their staple offerings which include their plain pizza and the steak and onion pizza. The plain is out of this world. Salty, savory and a nice crunchy crust, the sauce is thin and slightly sweet. The cheese covers the entire pie, and is not overly runny. It's the perfect New York style pie. The steak and onion, otherwise known as the Philly cheesesteak pizza, is a wonderful blend of steak pieces, fried onions, sauce and cheese. The steak is savory and the onions are soft and flavorful! Another favorite of ours is the pepperoni, the sausage topping and the white pizza. One critique I have about their pies is I wish they would be a little less floppy. If the bottom was slightly crispy, that would be amazing! Overall, there is no substitute for Pieros pizza in the Leesport/Bern township area. Last minute stop on the way to Bethlehem with 20 Boy Scouts on a coach bus after a hoagie place in Lancaster failed to fill our pre-ordered lunch. We call ahead and they had 8 pizzas and a few sandwiches to share ready for us, and an open dining room for our fast 15 minute scarf-fest. The pizza was great and gone in no time! Went to piero's yesterday for the first time for a pizza. We ordered off the online menu which is very limited compared to what they actually serve. When we went to pick it up the restaurant was a bit eh it had holes in the ceiling and food behind a glass enclosure that always makes me wonder how long it's been there when it's no a very busy time. BUT the stuffed vegetable pizza that we bought was great. Cooked perfectly everything was hot no burn spots. It was stuffed with a good amount of veggies but not so stuffed so you couldn't enjoy the great tasting crust they have. Highly recommend it's awesome. read more

Wow, this is the worst place ever for delivery and is a delivery scam. Don't do it. I called and placed an order. We live 1.3 miles away from them. They told me1 hour for delivery, 15 minutes longer than any other sites in our area. After an hour and 25 minutes I called to check on the status of the order. The woman that answered was very, very rude and said I told you and hour and 30 minutes, not true. She then said we are busy. After two hours we finally got our delivery. Our food was cold and dried out. I seldom write bad reviews. This place is an exception that requires a bad review.They also shorted us on $20 of food we ordered. We will never order from them again. Horrible! I took my daughter to this place about 3 weeks ago, my total was $24 and some change I thought it was expensive for what I ordered. I ordered cheese fries,2 sodas, a burrito, and a slice of pizza. Why when the waitress brought our food out it was a whole medium pizza? Huh!! I'm mainly writing this thought because of the amazing service. My friends and I were ice skating at body zone and wanted some food. Unfortunately the food place at body zone was closed. We tried lots of places but nobody delivered. We were just about to give up but we decided to call one last place. It delivered in a perfect amount of time where we were able to go back on the rink for a little then eat some pizza. This place is a great place to order from. I must say I have always enjoyed their food, however, today I was never treated so poorly by a business in my life! I was hosting a training at my place of business. We ordered food from them (several days in advance) for our lunch. The delivery was supposed to be made by 12. At 12:10, with no lunch delivered, I called and was told rather unapologetically that it would be 15 more minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting, I called again, the person on the other end (without telling me) put the phone down. After about 5 minutes someone picked up and said it would be another 15-20 minutes. After leaving 17 people wait 45 minutes for their lunch I drove to Piero's myself. Upon arriving, they informed menthe delivery person had the food.
