Cause this Target is awesome…read more First of all I love the fact that they have the covered parking and that there is plenty of parking spaces. Once you get inside, you will see a HUGE retail store! I mean they have everything in this store. It is well stocked and organized and clean, so so clean! And the staff is just lovely. The times I have been there, I can't tell how many people walk up to ask if I need help with something, which I don't but thanks for asking. The wine section is great and the prices are very good, definitely worth making a trip over there. I love that it has a million check-out lanes but only a few are open when I have been there. Not a problem as it never seems to be crowded and I have not had to wait in line for very long. This particular location works for me versus the locations at Wilson/Broadway and Loyola.

It's not as well stocked as some other Targets, but it's a really convenient spot for everyday things. That said, some of the staff can have real attitude. Recently I had a few in-store non-stackable coupons, so I split my items into separate purchases. I used one coupon, paid, and then started scanning my next items for a new transaction. The woman at self checkout who needed to scan the coupon told me, "you can't split up your transaction," and refused to scan the second coupon. I asked her why not since I had already paid and was starting a new purchase, and she just huffed and walked away without helping. I still shop here because overall it's a great store, but interactions like that are frustrating and unnecessary.

First I went to Marshall's and found a nice Samsonite bag, a carry on size for $99.99. My wife said it was probably less @ Ross Dress for Less. We went to Ross on Tuesday where I found the exact same Samsonite bag for $79.99, Cool Deal. In addition Ross has a 10% discount for Seniors on Tuesday so I took another $8 off of the purchase price. Can't argue w/saving an additional $28. Long story short I bought the bag @ Ross & returned the other bag to Marshall's. ADDENDUM: In addition I found a carryon Samsonite bag for $55.99. Between the initial $28 I saved another $24 off. So all told we were able to get the Samsonite carry on for $44 dollars less than the initial price.

The store switched around some things so the price scanners are nowhere to be found on the first floor, and even one fitting room is closed. So I was trying to calculate and scan everything via the app and stay on budget. Now imagine that plus having a gift card and Kohl's cash and determined to stay within a particular price range. There were definitely a couple of "take this off, ring that instead" and "try this, but not that." He was patient, polite and even cracked a couple of jokes while I was trying to figure this out. (I did point a customer to the ACTUAL line post so she wouldn't be breathing over my neck. I get the impression cashiers always want to do this, but they don't feel like being the bad guy. Still a mystery why some customers want to stand so close to strangers.) But Naveed not only let me figure out how to stay on budget but I had the audacity to get BACK IN LINE after transferring funds to buy something else. Poor guy. I thought he was going to try to figure out how to take a lunch break, but he was still just as upbeat the second time. I made sure to get his name so I could compliment him SPECIFICALLY. Kudos to him. He'd be solid in management, if that's an option and he desires it. Also, Kohl's has an amazing selection of jeans and brands I NEVER thought would fit me. I was super bummed out when JLo stopped selling her jeans. She was my go-to, and all of her jeans fit. I thought I'd be in Kohl's for hours trying to find a substitute. To my surprise, the first four options I chose from a very popular brand all fit. BONUS!

The architecture was, and still is, different in a good way, with more skylights than other indoor malls. I don't think I ever bought anything from here except coffee from a place on the second floor. Maybe something from JCPenny. I know so many people who spent part of their childhood or high school years here.

Despite the fact they sell these items and could be quite strict if they wanted. The mall itself is really empty. Post Covid has seen the closing of almost all the headliner shops. So I can't give 5 stars for the mall itself. Please remember this is for the Santa Booth at Christmas The line was not long. We registered online in advance. It was simple and took less than 5 minutes. But even for people who showed up without a reservation did not have a very long line. Santa's helpers were a little bit slow with processing. Once the pictures are printed and then they show them to you and try to upsell you (that takes time.) If they could improve the efficiency of that, it would be the only thing that I would have to say needed work. Despite being a little slow, I have to say they were friendly and cheerful. A lost art among young people working retail these days. IMHO. Everyone was nice and polite. It was refreshing. It's probably the best place to take your kid for a picture with Santa in the area. Parking is abundant. Don't get your hopes too high for the food court. It's slim Pickens. And there is not a single coffee shop in the entire mall. Management is fantastic and so genuinely helpful at this location (I'm reviewing this in May of 2016 so I can't speak for times before). The manager here was on her way to a break but I stopped her to ask her questions about a product without a tag. She quickly took the time out and found a similar product and provided me with a tag (and gave me a discount because the item I wanted was on sale, too!). The Marshalls in particular has always been clean and organized. They have a ton of amazing products like Kate Spade and Tory Burch. They also have an incredible selection of shoes but you have to go quick because they run out of popular sizes fast. I love this Marshalls because everyone has always been so incredibly helpful. 5 stars.

Things are generally well stocked, and the staff will glady check to see if there's anything in the back in case the staff haven't had a chance to restock a particular shelf yet. Only real caveats are that the pharmacy doesn't adertise what they only carry behind the counter (diabetic supplies) so you have to ask, and the in-store Pizza Hut is a ghost-station (as always). I do wish the Starbucks would re-open the area they closed down during the pandemic, but that modification seems like it's permanent, for now at least.

I haven't been inside, but I have used the Drive-Up option a few times when something I wanted wasn't available at the Target that's a bit closer. But they are sooooooo slowwwww. I've marked the app to let them know I'm on my way when I was 5-10 minutes out and still have to wait 5-10 minutes when I get there. So that's a little annoying, but oh well. They're right by the Edens and you can drive directly from the parking lot of this shopping center to the freeway.

I find it to be a bigger location with a ton of products, and they have a big parking lot, too. There's also a Panera and a Starbucks in the same parking lot, so it's convenient to grab food or a drink on the way out! This store can definitely be busy, but I've also found **pro tip** they tend to have some pretty cool Chicago artwork. Check it out if you're nearby!
