3/3/19 I brought my second daughter to get her ears pierced at 8 months of age. What I was recommended with my first daughter is to call before so I can ensure there were two staff members to do a double piercing. This time I made sure there was two staff members working at the same time before heading to the mall. Boy was it baby piercing day on Sunday. There were five babies before us but the wait wasn't bad at all. Kim was very patient and helpful with my daughter. She confirmed that my baby was calm enough for a double piercing. Most babies move their head back and forth so a double isn't possible. Kim also had to dot her left ear multiple times just because it was a little differently shaped than her right. We were able to successfully do a double. My daughter cried her brains out after for a little bit (as expected) but the simultaneous piercing experience was definitely better than the single ear. All the workers are so nice and helpful and beyond patient. They were so busy and were still able to answer all our questions and give our baby girl the best service ! Took my 2.5 month daughter here to get her ears pierced. Busy Sunday and Monique was all alone but she was able to handle all customers quickly yet efficiently. We picked the earrings, started the paperwork and waited our turn. Baby girl started to get a little squirmy and fussy before we even began. We started to get a little nervous because we weren't sure if Monique would be able to get even dots and pierce the correct spot with all the crying and movement! As we started baby girl wasn't calming down but somehow Monique was able to mark where she wanted to pierce. She showed us, we agreed on the placement, my husband was ready to hold hands and head. Baby girl cried through the whole thing but as soon as Monique was done she quickly calmed down. I didn't give her Tylenol before hand and 9 hours later she doesn't seem at all uncomfortable. She is overly sleepy, possibly from all the crying? (I noticed similar sleepiness after her two month shots). Monique was cool, friendly and super baby friendly. She talked to my daughter throughout the process to help calm her as well. She walked us through the steps and coached us on how to clean the ears. At the end she also asked if we had any questions. This location is very slow and short staffed. I waited forever to buy very poor quality and overpriced jewelry. When I was finally helped, the employee kept stopping to answer questions from other customers that were waiting as well as stopping to assist the other employee. I had to finally ask her to please finish helping me or I would leave and cancel my transaction. I wish I had canceled my transaction because all of the necklaces I bought are tangling and knotting because they are thin and cheaply made and overpriced. I am so displeased by the whole experience. I called ahead to make sure that they would do the ear piercing for my young daughter to both ears at the same time - they assured me that that was standard procedure. I got to the kiosk at 11:15am (they opened at 11am). Purchased the earrings by 11:20am. The other associate left "to go to lunch" - they just opened! So now, the only associate there had to pierce my 6 year old's ear ONE AT A TIME. To make matters worst, once she pressed the ear gun on the first ear, the backing fell off and she did not bother to look for it but instead replaced the backing from her 'extra pile' and put it on by hand - that made my daughter cry even more. I did not notice that she replaced the backing by a random piece that did not match the other earring (as I was busy consoling my daughter) and making sure that she would still agree to get the other ear pierced. As instructed by the associate, my daughter will have this earring on for three to four months until it heals completely. I got the 14k gold earring that was priced the highest from their selection, I only expect to get that, but now I have to face seeing the mismatched backing for the next three months. I did not notice the backing until we got home and when I called them, they asked if I got the warranty - why would the warranty be applicable in this situation? They are the one that lost it. Amazing and professional customer service! Husband & I had been searching around for a trustworthy location to get our almost 3 month old ears pierced and I am glad I found them online. Had the option of her getting both ears done at the same time, tho it was better to get one at a time as a newborn. The lady was awesome and patient with making sure the ears were even and wouldn't continue until I was satisfied, and that's to say I am a picky person with stuff like that. So she did a great job!
