Went here with a group of friends and I was excited to check out some Indian jewelry but, from the moment you enter it felt complicated and highly secured. You have to go through security and 2 glass doors to get in. Well, that's great security on their side... JEWELRY: I thought the jewelry were very unique and beautiful. Great Value as my friend told me they carry high quality jewelry such as REAL 24k gold... As a new customer and a Yelp Elite, I wanted to help write a nice review and help the business grow... As my usual routine, I like to take lots of PICTURES and VIDEOS to post on YELP... GUESS WHAT?: I was NOT allowed to take any pictures!!!! NO PICTURES ALLOWED!!! Throughout my lifetime of being a YELP ELITE, I've NEVER been asked to not take pictures. As if they had something to hide?... So as I walked around with a group of friends, I felt like we were just being WATCHED... Should we support a business like this? Were we VALUED as CUSTOMERS? You be the judge... Very disappointing experience. We purchased gold jewelry from this store a few months ago, and the item has already broken twice. For the prices they charge, the quality should be far better. Having to repeatedly repair a recent purchase defeats the purpose of buying "fine" jewelry. The customer service shift after the sale was obvious. Before purchasing, the staff was attentive and welcoming. Afterward, interactions felt dismissive and unhelpful. The most frustrating part happened today when we went to pick up the repaired item. My mom politely asked to use the restroom and was told -- in a rude tone -- that they "don't have one." This is a large retail store, and the response felt dishonest and unnecessarily unfriendly. Even if there is a policy, basic courtesy goes a long way, especially toward paying customers. Between poor product durability and the lack of professionalism after they have your money, this place does not live up to expectations. We will not be returning read more

Kiran was wonderful to work with. He helped me narrow my choices and helped me choose beautiful earrings

I came to replace my watch batteries and I will only be coming back here for future services! The price was appropriate for the battery replacement and very fast, only 15 minutes! It gave me a chance to explore the other stores nearby. The staff was incredibly warm and created a welcoming atmosphere for all of their customers. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Our favorite family jeweler where we come to every LA trip. We all come out of the town just to shop here. Staff is so kind, helpful, and patient. Shop is clean. They have a very good collection or will work with you to get what you need. read more

I met with Kiran Sampat at Highglow Jewelry in Artesia, CA. When I walked into the store, I immediately realized this is NOT a jewelry chain of stores. Their jewelry was spectacular. Each setting was like piece of art. Nothing like it anywhere else. Kiran and the store presented the Jewelry very well. Kiran and his family spent their life in the Jewelry industry and were very patient to educate me in the art of diamonds. I now have a real appreciation for natural diamonds and their real value in comparison to the man-made diamonds. I have been in many other jewelry stores. However, the difference was, I felt like I can TRUST Kiran. I felt very comfortable dealing with him. I will only deal with Highglow Jewelry and Kiram Sampat in Artesia, CA. It was a Great experience. read more

Great service as usual from Highglow in Artesia. This is my second major purchase from them. Both were Omega watches. Raj Pranav is the man! He assisted me from the beginning by phone and email. I only went to the shop to pick up the watch. read more

Beautiful facility, as soon as you walked in, attention was paid to you. Unlike its competitors- Bhindi Jewelers. The jewelry sets here are beautiful and classy - unlike its competitor. Come here for sure! Krutika was the best. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable. read more

Way overpriced as compare to other jewelers in the same market!!! Will never go back there again.

Such a WONDERFUL experience! Did not expect it! Walked in and was kindly greeted by the staff. I formed them that I was looking for a necklace set between 30- 50g. Was introduced to a kind sales agent named ILA. She was so patient with me as I tried on different sets. Even offered to lengthen a particular piece that was slightly short. The service was so great I ended up purchasing a Tikka as well! We will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you again, ila! read more

This place was highly recommended to us by a friend who is a regular and whose relatives have been going there since it opened. And with good reason. Was going nuts trying to find a decent price on 22k gold. The shops I visted were scandalous. Highglow was fantastic , the sales staff were really helpful. I told them our budget and what we wanted. And they gave us exactly that. This place has a lot of ethic Indian jewellery as well as more modern jewellery. The staff gave us a discount without us asking. The price was quite fair factoring in current cost of gold and the jewellery making charges. Have been back a few times since and never been dissapointed. read more

I love the experience from the moment you walk in, to a walking out feeling like I wasn't robbed of my purchase. I had purchased a wedding band here and had it engraved prior to my wedding day. It took a few visits before I was finally sold on which ring I wanted to buy. But i sincerely appreciate how I wasn't pressured in to pulling the trigger and having to purchase something like this so quickly. The staff was very polite and professional and when it was time to pick it up after the engraving - it looked amazing! So happy with their service and I completely understand why they have such glowing reviews. read more

Their inventory is superb and prices fair, along with friendly and expert customer service. Unlike a lot of Indian gold jewelry shops, they have a large selection of contemporary gold styles, e.g. a three strand 22k gold 18" necklace of rose gold, yellow gold, and white gold--all joined together in a gorgeous shimmering strip, three separate strands dancing liquid-like in such a way it feels almost like floating on the neck and upper chest. Oh the joys of jewelry and especially pure 223k gold, I will never tire of. I don't understand how anyone considers 14k "real." Go figure ... it's a cultural thing. This necklace in point was a gift which I was incredibly grateful and touched to have gotten from my Jeli Masi, who with Varshaben, Mina, maybe Gita and Sheela .... and whomever else went, incredibly sweet and kind, it really felt as if my parents were taking care of me, and were still alive. Highglow ships super fast from their store and got it to me within two days via FedEx signature required, securely packed with tons of tissue paper and bubble wrap, resplendent in a sturdy, gold necklace rectangular cardboard box. Highglow has a helluva reputation and though I'd been before, it had been some time, and I'm heartened to see that they haven't lost their touch. Oddly, despite the pandemic, in the last few weeks I've had occasion to interact with a few Indian gold merchants, and business is booming--do people rationalize it as investing in liquid cash when other forms of money and crpto is taking over? Go figure--the beauty and paradox of humans, lol :-) read more

First of all, this is the ONLY place in all of Little India that custom makes jewelry in 14karat gold. High Glow does all their work in-house, which means that they could do, and were willing to do, whatever we asked. Aside from that, Kiran is the man! I say that because he was so accommodating, telling my fiancee and I EVERYTHING up front, and telling us to check everywhere else, other mom-and-pop stores, and the big chain stores, so that we would eventually feel comfortable in our purchase. Also, he's the head salesman in the diamond section and the master builder of diamond jewelry, so he tells you exactly what he can/can't do, and what fits best on your budget. Very easy to work with. We have two stunning wedding bands. stunning! we couldn't be happier! read more

If you are looking for a good deal on an Omega Seamaster PO from an Omega AD, Highglow is the place to go! I got a quote for the watch over the phone, we agreed on a price, and Highglow overnighted it to my home in TX. The transaction was easy, the people at Highglow were very courteous and professional, and the watch was delivered exactly as promised. Ask for Adi; he provided a very competitive price for the watch compared to other Omega ADs. read more

I was looking around for a specific luxury watch. I shopped around and found that Highglow was an authorized dealer. What a wonderful experience. Not only I got a very good price, my watch had to be ordered and they kept me up to date every step of the way. Great prices and friendly staff. Aneil is a certified watchmaker and he ensured I was comfortable with the watch and even offered me advise on the care and maintenance of my other watches. Don't go anywhere else but here. My experience with Highglow jewelers and Krutika is exactly what one hopes to have when buying fine jewelry. And, as an Indian, we know how to buy jewelry!!! Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted and offered refreshment. Only then was I asked if I was looking for something in particular or needed help. I had actually made an appointment with Krutika to look at engagement rings after being referred to her by a friend. As soon as I mentioned this, Krutika immediately appeared and took me to an area where she had displayed a number of styles that she thought I may like. I never felt limited in my selection. When I asked to see more and more options, she readily supplied them. The best part of my time with her was that I did not feel rushed in the slightest, nor did I feel as though she was trying to up-sell me. She was very helpful and honest in steering me away from less flattering selections, even though they may have meant a bigger sale for her. When I told her I wasn't yet ready to make a final choice, she was super supportive, stating that this is indeed a huge decision that I should feel great about. This had me leaving happily and without that guilty feeling you sometimes get when taking up so much of someone's time (2 hours!) without making a purchase. After doing further research and thinking about the design, I returned to Highglow and Krutika after a couple of months. We again looked at more options and I finally decided on a stone and design. The price was utterly unbeatable and much less than I had found anywhere else. Furthermore, Highglow's quality in both their stones and finishes was so much better than everywhere else I had looked, both in LA and the SF/Bay Area. This is definitely the go-to spot when shopping for fine jewelry and worth the trip down from the Bay. I cannot imagine going anywhere else again!! read more

Most of people had a pleasant experience while buying from here and I did too.Couple of yrs ago I had bought a rani haar from here. Didn't end up wearing because it was too heavy, so wanted to sale it back and get something wearable. I understand you deduct labor charges and taxes, however the gold value had almost doubled up in past two yrs. When we asked them, they gave us such low price for it. So, we were like what is the point of buying gold than if you don't even get the value. Saddened how they turn business on their way. read more

If I could give Highglow more stars, I would! The moment I met Raj and Adi to purchase a luxury watch, I knew they would be great to do business with. They are knowledgeable, honest and friendly. They were so attentive with every time we met, and with every phone call I made. I shopped around for months at boutiques and other authorized dealers, but Raj's amazing service is what made me finally decide to buy from Highglow. I will definitely be back for a purchase in the future! Thank you, Raj & Adi!! read more

Worked with Raj on the purchase of 4 high end AP watches. Incredible service. I didn't even have to go into the store. Raj worked with me directly over email, as I had done research online. He had all the watches quoted and sourced almost instantaneously. Furthermore, quotes I received were much better than other dealers I had been researching. I actually live in Arizona, so, when I purchased, he coordinated the delivery of the watches without a hiccup. I am an avid collector of watches, and have purchased before through multiple dealers. Quite frankly, I am a lifelong customer after this experience I had. Highglow has great service, they are trustworthy, and they are reliable...all elements I look for when I look for watches. Thank you Raj and Highglow. read more

Very warm and welcoming jewelry store, they helped and worked with me on my budget to get the perfect ring for the love of my life. I purchased an engagement ring here at Highglow. I originally looked at another jewelry store because I was looking for a particular engagement ring by Verragio but once I met Kiran his honest and none pressure customer service won me over as well as he went out of his way to help me select and purchase the perfect ring. From start to finish the experience was exceptional. If you are looking for a ring for that special person in your life go see Kiran at Highglow you won't be disappointed. read more

I worked with Kiran to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend of three years. I live and work in SF (I visited him while I was in LA one weekend on the referral of my cousin) so we had to do it all by phone and email. Kiran was super responsive, replying on emails within hours and answering his phone whenever I called him. He knows everything a person would ever need to know about diamonds, and the stone he chose fit my budget AND looked spectacular. For the ring itself, I sent him a few images that correlated with what I was looking for - the results outstripped my already high expectations. The setting was amazing and the band lustrous and eye catching. I knew when I saw it that my girlfriend would love it. And my (now) fiancee does. Amazing work, Kiran! read more

A few weeks ago while searching for a nice Indian ring I walked into Highglow Jewelers. The facility is well secured with locking doors---upon entry the staff greeted me warmly and treated me like a celebrity even though I was not dressed in the latest fashion. I think this is a testament to the quality of staff. My special woman and I were escorted to the back to look at rings. We made a few requests and several options were brought to be shown to us. As I looked over the selection presented I made a few extra requests and was very happy to notice the attentiveness to my desires. Other jewelry shops have tried to 'push' what they want to sell. Highglow Jewelers was catering to my needs and this made me very satisfied. The next item is just amazing: As I looked over the ring selection, my eyes came to rest upon a ring that seemed very unique and visually stunning. I selected it and held it up to view. My lady was almost in tears for she later shared that this first ring I selected was of the diamond shape and band style that she had dreamed of since she was a young girl daydreaming of marriage! My ultimate thanks are to all of the Highglow staff but especially to Kirin who is an excellent jeweler with great knowledge. As a very dark South Indian man originally from Andhra Pradesh I am very grateful for the wonderful care and attention I received. I will definitely return here in the future. read more

This place rocks. I purchased a Verragio diamond ring for my wife a few months ago. We went to several jewelry stores in Los Angeles and shopped quite a bit on the Internet, too. However, after meeting with Kiran at Highglow, we decided not to shop more. Kiran is a great sales person. He is honest and very knowledgeable about diamonds. I thank him for his honesty and kindness. After purchasing the ring, we went back to the store for cleaning and size adjustments for several times. We were always treated with big smiles and great hospitality. If you ever need to purchase rings, stop shopping around. This is the right place to make the deal happen. Their price was very competitive as well. Good luck with your shopping. read more

Response to my review: "The price that we quoted you was for a solid 24K gold chain, not a gold plated chain. The price of 24K gold is $1180 per ounce which is 31.10 grams of gold. As for the price you were quoted for the chain included manufacturing cost as well as sales tax. Based on these facts, we would request you to bring your 50 gram Thai gold chain that you purchased for $26 for testing. We can test your chain as well as the one you saw at our showroom on a gold testing machine in your presence. Alternately we can also send both chains to a Government certified assayer for verification." We did ask for you to test the gold chain we were interested in, your staff had stated that you don't have a tester to test the gold in your shop, and now you're offering this service? We did not buy the 50 gram Thai gold we saw on Ebay because it is not real and we just researched only to discover that the Thai gold we saw on Ebay selling for $26 is the same exact chain you were trying to sell us at your store for $1800. And to top it off, the gold chain you were trying to sell us didn't have any stamp on it, you had to take it to the back to "look for it" but came back after you had stamped "22k or 24k" on it. But you wouldn't test it for us when we were there. Its sad to know that such a reputable high end gold store can be such a scam. read more

I had a really great experience buying an engagement ring for my fiancé from HighGlow Jewelers. Their process for helping you narrow down to the ring of choice was very systematic and helpful. They provided great educational material on different aspects of a diamond such as their shape, cut, clarity, color, and carat. Krutikaben was the representative that guided us through the entire process and she was very friendly, patient, and helpful. She first helped us pick out a diamond of my liking within our budget and then showed us a lot of different rings - from which I couldn't decide on any one particular one. She suggested that they can create a custom ring as well, so I ended up going that route. Once the order was placed, she provided regular updates and pictures of the ring as it was being made.
